A few things didn't go well. Three of the eight taps wouldn't pour when we swiped our wristbands, and an employee who came over to help told us those kegs were blown. The owner says they were full. If so, her staff told customers otherwise, and the footage will show it. The Astroturf out back also had such a heavy urine smell that we came back inside after a couple of minutes. What ended our visit was the employee who introduced herself as the manager. She was beyond rude from her first sentence to our last minute there, and it felt personal. She scolded our group repeatedly and gave the "keep the dogs in" speech at least six times, including when every one of our dogs was already inside the closed-off area. When I asked why, she confirmed leashes weren't even needed there, and the lectures kept coming anyway. She went after the kids in our group too, enough that their older sister took them home early. I'm 40, and I've never been treated that way by an employee of any business. Our whole group was uncomfortable, and we left rather than take more of it. The other employee working that day was wonderful: friendly, hardworking, and a pleasure to be around. That tells me this is a training and management issue, not a staffing one. To the owner: I've removed the employee's name and the photos. It's a great concept, and I genuinely want local businesses like yours to succeed. You have my number from the reservation, and I'd welcome a call. As of Thursday, September 24, almost a week later, I still haven't received one. They didn't have enough room for both of our dogs at the Spokane Valley location; but they were able to book us a reservation at their sister spot in CDA! They took our dogs in without question and when we picked them up they didn't even charge us with the State of Emergency going on. We spoke with Kayla who was so kind and empathetic towards our situation, she is definitely wonderful at her job! We 100% recommend this place in the future! This last weekend, I was very disappointed that I could not reach them when it mattered most. My sweet Sadie was diagnosed last Monday, a week ago today, with lymphoma. She was put on prednisone, which needs to be given with food. Friday, we went to the vet to get anti-nausea meds because she was having a hard time eating. By Saturday we could not get her to eat and she was miserable. We ended up in the ER vet because Prairie does not have an on-call person we could even just talk to. So, there we were in an unfamiliar place with a Dr unfamiliar to Sadie and us, having to make the most difficult decision without even the opportunity to speak with our vet. I understand vets can't be open all days, but I do believe someone should be reachable for these horrible situations that don't always occur during business hours. You either care about our fur babies or you don't. That care shouldn't stop on the weekends or only be shown when it's convenient. I'm talking about a phone call here....not an office visit. Nothing is convenient about end-of-life circumstances. So, I guess I'll settle on a "3" for the rating. Day-to-day, fantastic...weekends totally out of reach. Unacceptable in my opinion and they totally failed Sadie when she needed them most.

I almost got scammed into getting paying THOUSANDS of dollars for needless dental work for my dog! Despicable! I will be reporting this to the American Veterinarian Medical Association! I will never go to this clinic ever again! IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: I had to learn this the hard way, but NO accredited Veterinary association recommends non-anesthesia dental cleanings. Only an anesthesia cleaning can thoroughly clean a pet's mouth and detect all potential issues before they become big issues. Beware of any veterinarian who offers non-anesthesia cleanings!!
