Took my car in for an oil change and inspection last Friday. Was told my headlight assemblies…read moredidn't pass and was quoted approximately $800 for parts and labor... Stating that the front bumper would have to be removed to replace the headlights...I did my research because that didn't sit right in my spirit, and I ended up getting the parts myself and put them on and it took 25 minutes and $69...it passed today, no problem and I gave them a chance to explain, but it was BS. I hate giving bad reviews, but I feel they tried to take advantage of me, maybe because I'm a woman, or maybe because of my Trump sticker on my car, or maybe that's just their norm. Regardless, it breaks my heart because I always try to go to local shops and give them my money instead of big businesses, and as a single mom, I can use all the help I can get! (Couldn't we all nowadays?!) The only reason they got one star is because of awesome Briar, the young lady at the front desk: she is great!! I just think Leonard (who carries his little dog everywhere he goes in the shop) needs to put the dog down and find him another job and Dewitt's need an accurate, honest service writer. UPDATE: my dad went the same day and IRONICALLY was told his newer truck also didn't pass because, get this, his FLOOD LIGHT ASSEMBLY needed to be replaced! ($500)...My father is 86 years young, they're not only do you take advantage of women, but also of the elderly... YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! I'm going to BBB next and State Police.

Decided to stop by Speedy since it was in the most convenient location for me, and if I had to wait or leave my car then so be it. Front desk service was friendly, was told it would take up to an hour so I decided to wait. Waiting area is small but clean with comfortable chairs and water. I brought my game console to keep myself occupied but they finished inspecting my car within 40 minutes and I was off on my merry way. Definitely will come back for future car inspections.

I trust and appreciate Joel's knowledge and honesty. Last week I made an appointment for breaks, oil change, headlight and State Inspection. A few hours after dropping my car off I received a call from Joel saying my breaks are in good shape and no need for maintenance at this time.. WOOO HOOO! Went in to Dale's Garage for an inspection today. I proceeded to go in the shop and I waited,…read morewaited and waited some more. Dale was behind the counter talking to a friend about his surgery and his health. I heard stories about his doctor, etc etc. I heard his friend talk about his health as well. None of these conversations had anything to do related to anyone's car or anything to do with business. I waited for 10 minutes, I was never acknowledged coming in or leaving. Very rude way to treat your customers. I spoke to the mechanics out in the garage, they said they were waiting on Dale also, to get their first inspection started. The lady I used to deal with here was awesome, but I guess she probably had sense enough to not work here anymore. Complete waste of time.
