We experienced some needed changes during the refinishing of our entire house. Certain areas that are too stained to match everything (requiring replacing those boards or choosing a darker stain if you prefer), we believed we had hardwood flooring under the kitchen laminate and it turns out we did not. Each step of the way, Ruben would calmly lay out our options, and quickly show us the cost of each option. It was a very large project. They replaced all of our base boards and door trims throughout the house as well as refinishing floors throughout the entire house. We stayed in a hotel during the work and Ruben gave consistent updates so that we had a good guess of which day we move back into the house and plan accordingly for that. I would describe Ruben's approach as "high-touch". Answers questions via text, always happy to stop by just to drop off samples of colors or materials. I really appreciated this. This is a licensed and insured local business with a stellar reputation which is why we went with them. I'm so happy we did. Then drew up a layout that accommodated everything I wanted and added some cool organization features I didn't even know existed. By nature, I stress at the thought of such a big spend.
