A few months ago we needed a hydro jetting service done to our sewer line, so we called LA Sewer…read moreInspectors and they sent Greg out to the property. He arrived on time and immediately got to work. As he started to use the water to clean out the line, he noticed water backing up in the sewer line. It was draining slowly, so he carefully tried again and the same thing happened. Greg showed us the video and explained what was happening and said he wasn't able to continue the hydrojet service. He noticed that when he ran the camera down there it seemed like it would hit a blockage or wall but upon closer inspection with the camera it was clear. There was nothing there, but Greg already knew what it was. He suspected it was a sewer liner that was somehow blocking our access. Greg told us to contact city sanitation and let them know our sewer line appeared to have a liner blocking it. We made the call and the city came out within a couple hours. They checked their main line and said they had not worked on it and had not put in any liners recently. Then they asked if any neighbors had sewer work done recently. We then remembered our neighbor had a liner installed to her sewer line previously. The city told us to contact the neighbor's plumbing company to tell them to unblock our sewer line access. The story gets longer from there as her shady plumbing company tried to say it was our problem (that they blocked our sewer line access). So the city intervened on our behalf and not-so-politely informed them that it was their responsibility to remedy the situation or else. They corrected it at their own $1,000 expense and Greg was able to come back out a week later and perform the hydro jetting service. He noted the restored access to our sewer line and that everything was as it should be. It goes without saying that we trust LASI to see what we can't and to inform us when things aren't always so simple or straightforward. I can't recommend them enough when you want to check your sewer line or do a hydrojet. Just call the office and talk to Melissa. She's extremely knowledgeable and made everything easy to schedule. We sold our house and have already scheduled LASI for the next one.

In need of brand new pipes from your kitchen yo the backyard without breaking ground in your home,…read moreor CIPP lining from bathroom to backyard sewer line without breaking the bank, call Art, owner of Sewerman, ASAP. What are you waiting for! Art did all this extensive work at the old home I just bought in the San Fernando Valley. Before meeting Art, I had already spoken to two different plumbers and had received their bids. The first plumber, recommended by someone I know, was nice and professional but man was he pushy. He immediately said I needed to replace all the pipes without doing a thorough check. The second plumber did a thorough check but his price was ridiculously expensive. I was becoming discouraged, thinking there are no good plumbers out there, until I met Art. First of all, Art is an easy going, down to earth professional. He walked me through the whole process and showed me my pipes with his pipe camera. He advised that the pipes were corroded but may be saved by CIPP (epoxy lining within the pipe), but we wont know until we descale the pipes. If we descale and see substantial damage, then pipe would need to be replaced entirely, as Art advised. He was able to salvage the bathroom to backyard pipes by CIPP but had to replace the kitchen pipes to the backyard (I saw on camera how the descaled corroded pipe was beyond repair). He saved me a lot of money by not having to break ground inside the home and instead rerouting the pipe entirely through the side of the house and backyard. The job was extensive, requiring 3 days to complete and having to break concrete outside on the side of the house and dig large holes in the backyard (look at my pictures). But they did an excellent job putting brand new high quality pipes that will last a lifetime, redoing the concrete, and even saving my grass and putting back as if no worked had been performed. Despite all this work, his price was excellent. Art also saved me from a major potential problem. Just yesterday the sink to my main bathroom was clogged --and this was the day before I was having my family over to celebrate my dad's birthday and housewarming party. I called Art and he came to the rescue! He had to remove the p-trap to get to the root of the problem and in doing so, he saw the p-trap was old and breaking into pieces (looks like the previous owner had never changed it). What's more, there was a very hard substance in the p-trap which he had to scrape off with a large flat head screwdriver and a large plumber's wrench, which he used as a hammer to get rid of that very hard substance. Art was able to remove it after using elbow grease, and he replaced the p-trap with a brand new one. Almost forgot to mention that Art was able to install my washer and dryer, including buying brand new hoses and valves for the cold and hot water. Knowing that I found a plumber for life makes me sleep much better at night. Art is the best in the trade. I highly recommend him.

I'm a returning customer, and once again, Steve [owner] provided the most outstanding service…read more My garbage disposal ate my sponge, accidentally of course. My kitchen sink was backed up with all sorts of gunk that no human beings have ever seen. Obviously the 1st person I called was Steve. 11 am next day Steve snaked the line, replace my corroded sink flange and baffle. I also asked him to check and clean my outdoor drainage line since my dogs often use it as their bathroom; he honestly let me know it didn't need servicing, no upselling at all. The price was incredibly fair and probably lower than most. During the installation of the flange, the one I bought was too short for my deep sink setup. Steve drove 28 miles round trip, on a Friday's traffic in LA, to a specialty plumbing supply store to source the exact part needed to finish the job perfectly; no additional charges. To top it all off, he left my under sink cabinet cleaner and neater than it was before starting. Steve, the owner of Clear Pipe Plumbing & Rooter, is upmost professional, incredibly honest and dedicated to doing the job beyond the required scope.

Steve, the owner, is kind, efficient, trustworthy, and refreshingly no-drama. He gets the job done right and makes the whole process easy. Steve is a real gem, and I can't recommend him highly enough!
