Run a Storage facility in California. Have not accepted E waste for over 4 years and they continue to list us as a Collection site. Every attempt to have them remove our store listing has failed repeatedly. They are making zero attempts to rectify the issue. Listing also says no limits to size or quantity of accepted E waste !!! We approached this company on 9/27 indicating the upcoming closure of our Anchorage, Alaska office on 10/31. "Janae" expressed interest in submitting a quote. We were asked to submit a list of items to recycle and did so on 10/5. A subsequently request for photos was submitted on 10/12. We were told they were working on a quote. Three attempts later, we managed to get their attention on 10/19 -- 11 days from our move -- with a "helpful" referral to an e-recycler in Juneau: a city over 900 miles away as the crow flies, off the Alaska highway system and only reachable by air. We have wasted hours entertaining a quote from this company only to be dropped flat, 22 days after their expression of interest and 11 days preceding our move-out date. O don't seem to be able to submit a Zero-star review, of which Janae and her company are deserving. Do not use! read more

I recycled an old rice cooker, desktop computer with keyboard, 2 Blackberry phones, stereo system, a Game Boy, and some batteries. Scheduling with them was incredibly easy and they bumped up the pick up date by several days. I was able to get someone on the phone very easily when scheduling. The driver called our client 30 mins before they arrived. Our client was very pleased and called me the next day to sing their praises. DO NOT USE THEM FOR FUND RAISING! WASTE OF TIME! We did an event with All Green last month. We had lots of volunteers and donors. We contacted our community leaders and reached out. We had a FABULOUS turn out. There was a line the entire time of the event. All Green did NOT bring sufficient staff to unload the cars. Some people left because they didn't want to wait. They were slow. BUT WORST OF ALL: They gave us a list of what they would accept, we made sure everyone knew. What they didn't say is that there are QUALIFYING and NON-QUALIFYING items. Over half of what we collected was non-qualifying, what that means, I don't know because THEY NEVER TOLD US. We waited 3 weeks to be told we made FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS, on over 15,000 lbs. of collected E-Waste. Waste of Time. They are greedy, slow and ill managed. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Dreadful service all around! First, I called to have two computers' hard drives wiped and only ONE of them picked up and recycled. Everyone I spoke to made it seem that would be no problem. I scheduled a time and all seemed to be fine. Then they never showed up for the scheduled day. I had to call to reschedule. Then when they FINALLY arrive four days after the originally scheduled pick up date, the AllGreen employee tells me they have to take the computers away to a warehouse to be wiped. I didn't want one of the computers to leave the house due to sensitive data on the hardrive. Which I made clear to EVERY employee I talked to, and no one ever told me it would be an issue. Then I look at my receipt. My name and email are both horribly misspelled. I go to call AllGreen to have the charge for the additional computer removed. It took me 20 minutes to get someone on the phone. I kept trying to reach someone via their automated customer service line and I was hung up on not once, not twice, not thrice, but 5 times. They say on their receipts that customer service is their number one priority. I beg to differ. I will never use this company again. read more

You might want to try scheduling a pick-up rather than dropping off. I live just a few minutes away, so I stopped by around 11:00am on a Tuesday to recycle some old items. Unfortunately, there was nobody to actually accept my items. I stood outside the Consumer Drop-off door for a while, and rang the door bell several times. Nobody ever came out, so I left. I wanted to just leave my stuff outside the door, but they had a sign saying "No illegal dumping" and camera pointing right at me. read more

I myself had never dealt with something like this and didn't want to just dump them in a trash bin somewhere. I had a great first experience with this vendor. I've used Goodwill eWaste service for on-location pickup of commercial ewaste in the past, and have found them to be great for large quantity pickups. I had (so I thought) only 15 items or so to be picked up, a mixture of LCD monitors, servers, tower computers, and the like - too few for Goodwill eWaste service. I was going to go with a "free pickup" vendor but they could not provide any assurances of their process being ethical or that hard drives would be wiped or shredded. All Green was going to come pick these items up for an $8 fee! Cheaper than the cost of employee time to drive it to a local collection facility. I announced to my company that we'd have a free ewaste pickup and to bring what they had. Minimal participation but the CEO mentioned "some stuff in the warehouse." That turned out to be 4 pallets (!) of ewaste. All Green was able to quickly change the pickup to the larger amount the day of scheduled pickup. They did charge an additional $30 for one pallet of "non-qualified" waste which has lower value for recycling (phones, etc) but again, totally reasonable, and they picked it up here. Check out their certifications (eSteward, NAID, etc.) and realize not all ewaste collectors are the same. If you care about the environment, locally and globally, and about data security, these should matter to you. Absolutely will use again! read more

All Green was set up at the main Altadena Library one weekend and we stopped by. I had accumulated two bags of items and hoped that it was all things they would take because I hate throwing out things that can be recycled. The guy helping us was very nice and took both bags. We had to fill out something because I had a cell phone to donate but it took about 30 seconds. It was so nice to have a close by place to drop off e-waste! It was free and easy! read more

Be very, very sure you will need them before you call! I needed some small electronic items picked up in less than three days. I was informed of a three day no refund policy but did not fully realize that would apply to my canceling the pickup. That was my error. I was not permitted to cancel, and I lost the charge to my credit card. I was given an explanation of why the policy exists that I can partially understand. But there is also a matter of the right thing to do. Bottom line is this: be very sure you need them. If the items left outside as instructed get scavenged, you're still going to pay for the pickup. I'd suggest a free public recycling drop off location. read more

The experience started off fine, but I would never use them again nor would I ever recommend them. This place has no idea what customer service is, nor do they understand the concept of returning customer phone calls or replying to emails. I had a pick up scheduled in Feb and was told that the items would be inventoried and then we would receive a check for the estimated value. It is June and I still have nothing. I get about one returned call for every 5-6 that I place. We have a large corp and it would have been nice to find a reliable resource for our salvage needs. The absolute worst. read more

Our Music Program had worked with this group three times and this last time has caused this negative rating. Event was held at our school site January 2016. Payment for the multiple pallets (2 truckloads) were promised totaling well over $1200. This is for our music students who had marketed and promoted the EWaste collection as a service to our community. The community responded well - thinking that they were helping our students (which they were - and we are grateful for their support). To date, 8/1/2016 - there has been no payment. There have been promises of a donation check in place of the payment; a statement that even if there was payment, it was going to be a lesser amount than originally noted and documented; and multiple replies blaming the State of California for not reimbursing AllGreen - so AllGreen could not pay out to our students account. After our own research on behalf of our students: AllGreen took the pallets we sent in, went through a 3rd party recycler AND submitted our community EWaste items (pallets) and received funds. Yet the students have not received any amount to my knowledge. Additionally, there are other non-profits (ie SoCal middle school and NorCal high school) who have also hosted events and have not received anything. At this point, AllGreen has not replied back to the most recent email and we just want to make sure others are aware what happened with our event. The funds the students worked hard for were to go towards musical instrument repair, uniform maintenance and scholarships as well as transportation to competitive events in/outside of the Sacramento area. read more

They must have changed ownership and/or management. 500% increase in rates from one year ago. Rude and poor customer service; 180 degree difference from last time. The owner replied to the Yelp Review I left a year ago and stated if I mentioned the review I would get a free pickup. The customer service representative, Rob, stated that he "has never heard of that" and not only did not offer the free pickup, charged 6 times more than the last time we used their services. I had my guys place all equipment to be recycled on two pallets, printed off the order form provided by Rob, and stated on the form that our company was the owner of all TV's to be recycled, along with the business owner's name and phone number. When the driver showed up to pick up the pallets today (at another location than where I am) he told the guys at that location that the paperwork wasn't correct and drove away. (Instead of calling me to let me know there was a problem.) I've tried calling All Green 4 times today; each time being left on hold for about 15 minutes before being asked by the automated attendant to leave a message. None of my messages have been returned. When I emailed Rob to let him know his driver left without the pallets, he sent back a very rude email blaming me for not having the paperwork done right. WTH? He gave the name of someone who doesn't even work for our company, and stated she gave him different information over the phone. I have no idea who he's talking about, as I requested the pickup, I spoke to him on the phone, and I corresponded with him via email. I did EXACTLY as he asked. He was rude on the phone, he was rude via email, and he will not call me. I've requested a refund to the card they have already charged. We'll see if I ever get a refund. I will never use their service again, and I take back any previous recommendation. 5/10/2016: Update. I'd like to add condescension to the list of ways Rob treats customers. I just received a call back from Rob and he spoke to me like I was an idiot, not a customer he was trying to take care of. I don't know how long he as worked for All Green, nor how long he has been working in customer service, but passing blame and making excuses is no way to talk to customers. read more

Going through old reviews and realized this was highly inaccurate. Yes, they are ethical but greedy as hell. Don't even bother unless you have at least ten items or they'll charge you for a pick up. I don't trust them with my hard drives either. They have a business that works with them to resell the electronics they pick up. read more

I'll update if things change. I called to setup a pickup for 5 old TVs, some CPUs, cables, small electronics, etc. They said the cost is $96. I said that was too much, and they changed to $26 because a truck was in the area the following week. The evening before, I hire a couple of guys to carry all the stuff to my driveway. Then I get a call around 2 p.m. on the day scheduled for pickup and was told their truck broke down. So, I have an entire driveway full of electronics. The earliest they can pickup is another week! So I have my stuff tarped in the driveway in hopes next week their truck actually makes it to my house. Not even an apology or an offer to discount the pickup cost for the inconvenience. Let's just hope I don't get ticketed by the city for having this stuff in my driveway for a week. read more

I've had 6 hard drives collecting dust in my home office, because I didnt know what to do with them, for security purposes. I searched on google for electronic recycling, and ALL GREEN ELECTRONICS RECYCLING was the first on the list. The website was very informative and the option to scheduled a pick up time was VERY convienent. They showed up on time and were very quick to load up the items for recycling and overall offered a great service. They were very professional and I will definitely call them again to recycle anything else that I have in the future. I had a bad experience. We had a recycle drive to help others recycle. I went back and forth because they wouldn't do a free pickup unless we had 10 laptops. We ended up collecting 17 laptops that they would make money on; however they would not provide me with a list of what we gave them. We had the two pallets of stuff shrink wrapped so I know that they hadn't mixed the stuff up with other things yet. It had been less than 24 hours when I asked the representative for the list and nonetheless they refused to try and help. I won't be going back there. read more

I paid for the service upfront. Put three televisions on my driveway for pickup between 8-5 pm. No one ever came to pickup the items and no one ever called. I am annoyed because I put those televisions out at 6 am. I called four times and no one ever answered the phone. The last call I was able to leave a message. I paid for a service and I expect it to be done in a timely manner. At around 6pm the driver called and it turned out he went up to Ventura County. He apologized and picked up everything up shortly after 7pm. Only thing I can complain about is not receiving a call earlier and no one answering my previous calls at the office. read more

We were then able to get everything to prepared to make the process pretty much pain-free. Do no use this company!!! They are EXTREMELY unprofessional and unorganized! I scheduled and paid for the pick up of a big screen TV. They say that they will come sometime within an 8hr window, so I worked from home that day. They called me to tell me that the they screwed up and put the wrong date down for the pick up so we rescheduled for the next day. I worked from home again and arranged my entire day around this pick up. I even called that morning to confirm that they were coming and the rep told me "yes". Then I got a call that they screwed up again and they did not have me scheduled for pick up that day. Now they do not want to refund my money. They are HORRIBLE! VERY unprofessional! read more

Easy to schedule and impressive how much weight 1 guy can pick up since these were 2 old clunker of tubed TVs from the 80s. They picked up from North OC on Fridays which was convenient and came earlier in the 7 hour window that was quoted. The coordinator Ryan was easy to work with and I didn't have any concerns that the pickup wouldn't happen despite my parents' worries, which is more the norm about anything. read more

It was a simple process and we even received a certificate for the destruction of the hard drives a few weeks later. The customer service was perfect and they made the process very easy.
