Everything started out well. We talked about the job discussed various options and went over it and what I felt was great in detail. Somewhere during our conversation about the glass, he mentioned having to make a notch. As one would assume since were talking about the glass I assumed that he would make a notch in the glass to go around my $4000 slab of granite. Apparently a notch for him didn't mean he was going to notch the glass despite being a glass guy it meant he was going to put an over three-quarter inch gouge in my granite. It is obvious when you look at it, he clearly didn't have the correct tools to cut into the granite nor should he have in the first place, since he doesn't do granite installs or cutting. His work order mentions nothing about cutting into the granite as well otherwise I would've red flag this. There's just a complete lack of common sense that was applied to this job. Extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism and incompetent service provided by All Glass Work. Based on Henry's (the owner) alleged product knowledge and the online reviews, I choose All Glass Work to install shower doors in our newly remodeled bathroom. The new shower doors were installed May 30, 2022. A few days after installation, I noticed two of the glass panels were not properly aligned and left a gap on top of the door. I paid $2,500 for a custom shower door and I expect a perfect installation. I immediately contacted Henry on June 6, 2022, and he agreed to come over to inspect the glass panels. Henry never showed up! A few days later, I texted him for an update and was told he is busy, but he'll come over to tomorrow. We went through the same exercise many times, I kept texting him for updates and all I got was "I'll be there tomorrow" , "I'll be there next week", "I'll there in a couple of days". It has been well over a month and there is no sign of Henry. No attempts were made to inspect the shower door or address my concerns. I regret doing business with this company. I am very happy with this glass company. I have a large A- frame window in my living room and it suddenly formed a crack through the middle of the glass. I called a few glass companies and all recommend glass that would shatter if the crack happened again. That would have required me to put a film on the window to avoid that from happening which would have cost extra. When I spoke to Hadi, at All Glass Work, he recommended Laminated glass which does not shatter and would not require me to put on film. It is also UVA/UVB protected and is very secure from break-ins. Also, his price was the lowest than other companies. He showed up on time the day we scheduled his installation and finished on time as I had to be some where at a certain time. We needed a new shower enclosure. This seemed like a legitimate business after reading the reviews and getting our questions answered. We decided we would accept the quote that was given to us and move forward with our bathroom project. The owner wanted the 50% deposit the same day via Zelle. We preferred to meet him in person and pay with a check since we've only communicated over the phone and via text messaging. We also preferred a signed contact. It was odd that he wanted the money first so my husband asked if he could go to his office and give him the check. The owner replied with a text message stating the following. "You are too picky. I don't feel comfortable working with you." We were taken aback by this kind of response! How unprofessional! Good thing we learned how he is and didn't give him our business! If this project had turned out great, we would have used him in other projects as well--our master bathroom and in our rental properties. We are happy to bring our business somewhere else than deal with an unprofessional. This actually deserves ZERO stars. If we didn't know any better, we would have been SCAMMED by this person. SO BEWARE!!! It only goes to show that not all positive reviews mean the business is guaranteed to deliver a positive experience or seem legitimate. ZERO STARS INDEED. We had every reason to ask questions in order to come to an informed decision and ask for a SIGNED contract then pay a deposit. That's how you start a business relationship. We never wasted 30 phone calls on this person and only received two photos. He lied and exaggerated. We have the messages and the phone logs. Wow, where do I start? I noticed our mirror glass wall looked loose! I was extremely nervous and found this company on yelp. I called him and he came the same day for an estimate and did the work the next day. He was extremely nice and pleasant to work with. This job isn't a easy task as they have to remove the whole entire glass mirror. We described the general size and thickness of the glass and he recommended a specific type of glass we should use.
