    What a great experience…read more I called Stafford Glass in extremis after a recent hurricane produced supply chain issues with tempered glass down in NC. We were on the hook to put the finishing touches on a buddy's USMC retirement gift and time was extremely tight. The owner Marvin answered the phone and jumped straight in to help ensure we could celebrate this Marine's 22 years of service with a polished and complete gift. Of course, we flubbed the measurements on the tempered glass I needed so even though it came in quick, it didn't fit the shadow box! When I called Marvin up again it felt like he dropped everything to help. He put a rush on the glass and even drove to the supplier to pick it up in order to ENSURE the retirement went well. The price was great, they gave advice along the way about what would work best and have the most longevity, and the personal touches were all just so refreshing. This experience reminded me why supporting local small businesses isn't "charity", I honestly came out soooo much better than what any big box or national company would have done. Marvin and his crew are members of our community and it was so apparent that he cared about our Marine buddy having a good retirement. I'll be using these guys for any glass needs in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for any glass work

I did business with them last August; spent over…read more$200 in having plexiglass cut for my display for my small soap business (JnJFarmKY.com) I get off work and home then clean out my wallet at 3am today. I pull receipt out and notice an additional $7 unknown charge. I look up their hours online and set two alarms to be up at opening to get this taken care of. True, my bill was only $40 but that's not the point. I'm a small woman-owned business and I'm being taken advantage of. I show up at 8:05am. No one there. There is a couple at the opposite end of parking lot saying they're waiting for the opener. I ask for a manager's name....Oh, I'm just the bookkeeper. So there is no manager. I don't handle that. That's not what I asked, who is the manager....she just walked away. 15 minutes later this gal hops curb speeding into the parking lot, parks RIGHT up front; in customer parking. I posted a picture of all the employees who parked up front so customers get to walk to get in the building. This gal FINALLY opens the door. I ask to see a manager, she said she's the only one. Fine, what is this $7 charge on my bill. It's a service fee. Where on bill does it say service fee? We always charge that. The bill shows what I bought, obvious tax AND an unknown charge, it looks like you're stealing from me. She said nothing is marked on bill. I posted bill, no you tell me...what does it look like to you? They just up and charged me $7 or is it a service charge? I said I want it gone, she said it's a charge for cutting the plexiglass. I wasn't informed and I'm not paying. She blinked then walked away and saw a guy walking in on crutches and starts asking him how he's doing. Now I'm still standing in the showroom floor! I raise my voice and say I want my money back, I refuse to do business with someone with such questionable charges and poor customer service. I'll find someone else to do business with. The guy looked at me and shrugged and limped off, book keeper behind window said we do need to inform people of these charges and the gal FINALLY said fine, I'll get your refund. As I walked out the door, the gal at the front desk said "Good Luck on finding someone to do business with." I was shocked..... As soon as I got home I found Woodbridge Glass, they charge $2 more per sheet, no "service charge" AND Majestic told me it wouldn't be ready until tuesday....Woodbridge glass will have it ready TOMORROW after 2PM!!!

    Likely the worst customer service if any business I've dealt with in years. They are likely to be…read morebankrupt in a year! It has taken a month to replace a small, simple window. They've changed the appointment several times, do not call you bank when they promise, and change their story with each subsequent conversation. They first told us we had to pay cash up front before the "parts" could be ordered to replace the window. We mailed a check, abd two weeks later initially said they had never received the check. But "oops" they had already cashed the check! Upon pointing that out, the receptionist conceded she didn't know what the status of the work was and would call back. She did call back with still no information on the date of the repair and a host of excuses. She then let it slip that all the installer has to go is come out and quickly cut a piece of glass to make the needed repair. Would have been nice to have gone that then on his last visit, the one that was delayed twice! And wouldn't a glass company carry GLASS? Still waiting on the job to be completed a month after our initial contact, two weeks after the first tech visit ant at least four contacts later. Today we were told that the previous serviceman told them the job was already done. Later, they called back saying they couldn't find our house on Longview Drive (which is in Woodbridge). That's because we live on LongWOOD Drive in Stafford. Of course the fact that they've already made one visit might have been of help. These people are pathetic!

Two stars because half the job was done properly…read more Michael did a quick walk around and provided a $295 estimate to clean all windows (interior and exterior) of our small 2 story house (13 windows/1 sliding patio door). Tony arrived as promised on the agreed date/time. He is a friendly, well spoken young man and went right to work. He used a brush on an extending pole attached by his hose to our external spigot. Upon completion, we noticed water droplets drying on the exterior of all the windows and leaving spots. He squeegeed the droplets off of one ground-level window by hand, but had no ladders and said he had no means of doing the rest. We decided to take it up with management rather than quibble with him, so he left. I called the office number and left a voicemail. Many days passed so I left another voicemail. I found the franchise headquarters number online and called them. They said Michael, the owner, was on vacation, but had returned days before and they would reach out to him. Finally, December 1st (8 days later), Michael called me and apologized and scheduled a return appointment to correct the issue. Today, December 12th, Tony arrived on time and said he had no instructions on what to do, but was told, "something about spots". I asked him to rewash the external windows and squeegee them off to get rid of the spots. He did the ground floor windows then came back and said it wasn't really working. He blamed my "acidic water" and said he'd have to have some sort of chemical cleaner to get them off. Apparently, he didn't have such a cleaner and no ladders, so no way to do it. He then asked what I wanted him to do. I wished him a Merry Christmas and thanked him for coming. As a prior small business (franchisee) owner, I know he had not been set up for success by his company. Recommendation: use someone else to clean your windows so you won't have to deal with this.

I called Fish and asked what time should I expect them and Mike said that his guys had a stomach virus or something. He said he had to reschedule and I said never mind that I would find another company. Mike should have called me first thing in the morning to reschedule. I also should have received a confirmation email or text the day before. Instead I was going to be waiting at my elderly mother's house waiting for a company that wasn't going to show up.
