5 star for product and installation, 4 stars in total for not knowing that the product I wanted, and contracted for, could not ultimately be delivered. The glass is installed and beautiful. It's for a walk-in shower. It's just one large piece of rain glass 8 feet high by 66 inches wide. No problem with getting the glass in or with installation. Along the way there were three different folks - - sales rep, prep installer who came out to look at the site, and finally the installers. The issue is that I wanted a 9 foot tall piece of rain glass, 66 inches wide. Chatted about this and had a contract for over eight months or so. Time came for delivery. They actually sent me an email saying they were coming to deliver. I called because the timing wasn't good for me. They said oops we're not ready for delivery. Then, found out we could no longer get a 9 foot high piece of rain glass. We wanted to go up to a 9 feet ceiling, floor to ceiling glass, because otherwise we were told we would need an ugly, in my opinion, 46" horizontal cross bar for support if we did not go up to the ceiling. So, we had extra wood installed in the attic for the ceiling so we could use two "u channels" to install the glass (a tract in the ceiling and in the floor). Come to find out they can no longer get 9 foot pieces of patterned glass so we would have to go with clear or frosted glass. I kept pursuing this issue and ultimately, after a very stressful couple of weeks, they found out we could get an 8 foot high rain glass but we would need a support bar - - no longer an ugly long horizontal piece, but a 12 inch vertical piece! Well, that was a big difference in what we had been told before. The difference between a 46 inch crossbar and a 12 inch vertical bar is huge. Unnecessary stress. I purchased a custom glass shower door from Dulles Glass for $1,500 expecting a straightforward installation and professional workmanship. Despite providing all measurements exactly as requested, the door does not function properly: it cannot swing open without striking the tile on the wall where the hinges are mounted. The frame fits the opening perfectly, so this is clearly a design issue related to hinge placement or hardware clearance, not a sizing error. When I called Dulles Glass to resolve the problem, their response was disappointing. Instead of offering a repair, adjustment, or reasonable solution, they told me I could buy a completely new door with the towel bar moved an inch so it wouldn't interfere with the swing. When I asked why the door wasn't made that way originally, the representative's reply boiled down to "you already bought it" and they don't accept returns. In short: no accountability, no attempt to fix a likely manufacturing mistake, and a push to pay more to correct an error that should never have happened. For anyone considering Dulles Glass, be cautious. The product I received is functionally defective despite following their measurement requirements, and the company's customer service failed to take responsibility or offer a fair remedy. If you choose to use Dulles Glass, get written guarantees about fit and function, insist on an on-site verification of hinge clearance before fabrication, and clarify their return and fix policies in writing. As it stands, I cannot recommend them based on my experience -- overpriced, poorly supported, and unwilling to stand behind their work. read more

Top notch product and service! We had our basement finished with a full bath including shower. The contractor talked us into small glass cube wall as a partition between the sink and the tub. The issue was that the partition was not big enough and the tub surround and bathroom floor would get drenched after every shower! Reached out to Dulles Glass and was immediately impressed with how quickly I was connected with a salesperson who discussed some options and scheduled someone to come take measurements. Within three days we had our measurements and quote for the project. I had some additional questions but due to my work schedule I was unable to connect with a salesperson during the week. So on a Saturday morning, 10 days before Thanksgiving, I decided to visit their Manassas showroom. I was there promptly when the showroom was scheduled to open and met Hasan Tunc, who happened to be Operations Department Manager. We went through my questions and the issue I was trying to solve he quickly came to a determination that the Metro shower door model would be the best option. Has was absolutely wonderful! There were some logistical issues that I wanted to go through and Hasan showed me a mock up of how the install would look the and the photos taken during my measurement appointment. I told Hasan that we needed the shower door installed before Thanksgiving! and Hasan said he could make that work! Follow up emails and texts happened on Monday confirming the installation the Monday before Thanksgiving! The day of the installation, the installers showed up ahead of scheduled time and competed the full install in roughly two hours. The finished product is absolutely perfect! It has great style and really completes that bathroom and the quality of the product is top notch!
