They cared well for Egg!
Kate P.

I came here to bring my daughter's hedgehog in for an emergency visit. I was able to get an appointment right away and for a reasonable price. The moment we walked in, the warmth of the staff was immediately felt. They were so nice and inquisitive and there all loved "Egg" the hedgehog. They were all so kind and helpful and we really loved our experience there. The doctor was super knowledgeable and answered all of the questions I had. They called to check up on Egg after her visit too! I love that they treat exotic animals and they were so great, I'm considering switching over the care of my two cats, too. I'd highly recommend them for any four legged friend!

Pretzel at her appointment

Vet and staff were super friendly and more than generous :) Pretzel, a usually very skittish, shy rat felt completely comfortable in staffs presence would 10000% go back in the future

The staff at All Creatures were extremely compassionate when I came to them with my dog in crisis. Our normal vet is in RI, where the pup grew up. Unfortunately, in an emergency that doesn't help. We were seen immediately, and given the space to make the right decision for my dog and our family. Although that decision was painful, I appreciate their kindness and support through that difficult time. I would highly recommend this office, would use them if I ever had another dog. Thank you for your kindness through a difficult time.

Look at his little bruised cheeks

This is the first review I've ever written, I brought my 10 month macaw to have his nails and beak trimmed and they didn't know how to wrap him so she held him by his cheeks when they were done his cheeks were all bruised she said that was normal (not true) I reached out to 3 different avian vets who all replied you never gold them by there cheeks needless to say when we got home he wasn't acting right so I called to speak to the vet to see if this was normal and she didn't even have the decency to get on the phone to reassure me he was ok, she told the secretary to tell me if he wasn't any better today to take him to an emergency vet. They didn't even have common sense to call me today to see how he was, I feel horrible that I trusted them to care for my baby. So if you have a bird di not take it here you'll regret it!!

WOW...AMAZING...WICKED AWESOME! This facility is absolutely outstanding! I am extremely confident in stating that I am 100% positive this where I want to continue my baby Bullies primary care. Moxie (my 8 month old English Bulldog) had her first appointment with Dr. Deborah Burba this afternoon at All Creatures Vet. Hospital. I must say... Dr. Burba knows what is really going on... :-) She is SO nice and is extremely knowledgeable. I have read book, upon book in regards to caring for an English Bulldogs and just on Moxie's first visit she informed me of information that I had never even heard of.... At the exam, Dr. Burba did a complete physical and ran all the necessary tests (which did include a liver lipid blood draw)... I was LITERALLY still in the waiting room making Moxie's next appointment and I received a call on my cell. I did not answer and the call went to voice mail. I listed to the message when I was leaving... IT WAS DR. BURBA CALLING WITH MOXIE'S BLOOD TEST RESULTS!!! I WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!! The kindness, compassion and commitment that this practice shows to their patients is unbelievable! Bravo! To: DR. DEBORAH BURBA AND HER STAFF, YOU ALL ARE PHENOMENAL!!!!

I went here and I brought my cat on a leash and we sat quietly in the area and everything was fine. They were very friendly and fond over my cat and he was put at ease and behaved great through the entire exam and the shots. Today when I went, I had a terrible experience and when I brought my cat in on the leash, nobody said hello to me or my I went up to the desk to check in and they said I was checked didn't ask me how my was or say anything friendly to me. Meanwhile, every dog that came got a treat a hello and all kinds of attention I thought maybe it was just because they knew those dogs but then a few minutes later they came out with a cardboard pet carrier and told me cats have to be in pet carriers. They didn't look at me nicely. They didn't say I'm really sorry but we need your to go into this carrier. They didn't say anything soothing to my cat. They didn't even pet him. He was very upset about going into the carrier since he normally goes around places on a leash and a harness. Every I've ever gone to I've taken him in with a leash and a harness and he's always done fine and I said why does he have to go into a pet carrier? They said because he could get hurt by a dog or a dog might attack him and I said well then shouldn't a dog wear a muzzle and they looked at me and and said we don't muzzle dogs here to which I said, but you can put cats cardboard so that the dogs don't hurt the cat? I would think that it's the dogs that need to be rained in. From that point on they didn't have any conversation with me. They did not apologize to me. They did not try to calm my down and when we went in for the exam, my was obviously upset and was and the that came in Dr. Gallagher was not who I had originally made the appointment with when she entered. She She immediately put hands on my cat, who hissed at her. She didn't try to calm him down. She didn't talk to him. She didn't say anything at all to him as a matter of fact, and then she took to draw Blood and she told me that they couldn't because he was too upset and I needed to take him home and sedate him. I've never done anything like that. He doesn't hiss at people the only thing that upsets him is getting his nails clipped. I will never go there again and I recommend you don't either especially if you have a cat.

Front desk staff was very prompt & friendly & we were seen quickly. The tech who worked us up was a doll! I wish I could remember her name-she's also an animal behaviorist & was very sweet & helpful. We were seen by Dr. Logsdon, who was also very kind, easy going, & thorough. Pricing was reasonable & that place was CLEAN. Our pup also seemed to be cool with the whole thing (then again, he's easily bribed with treats...). I'm glad we have a place that feels comfortable & competent as well as close to home to bring our fuzzy nugget.

I got there and no one could find his appointment on the calendar. I pushed and described the woman I spoke to who booked the appointment. they located the appointment but the woman booked in 3 days in the past. so the staff told me to go home and that they would try to see him a couple hours later. the cat was crying and stressed from the ride over. How cruel. no one seemed to care about his health or well being. I came back and was squeezed into see Dr Steve logsdon. I warned him that my cat bites when stressed and that he should wear gloves. But no he didn't listen and my cat nipped him in the finger. Nothing serious but the dramatic performance put on by the "doctor" should have earned him an oscar. My poor cat was breathing seriously and was told he could go into a seizure.the cat was fine when I brought him to the hospital the first time but the stress from the staff making him leave and come back hours later was too much for him. My cat was 19. Well the doctor told me that I was causing him stress by trying to comfort him. Doc never apologized for mixing up his appointment and having to bring a sick cat back home then back again. Never apologized just blamed me for trying to comfort the cat. He yelled at my sick cat for nipping his finger. Then made us sign paperwork that he got bit. This doctor was over the top. Why wasn't he wearing gloves like most other vets? I told him to wear gloves. Then he told me that my cat needed to be put down. This made no sense to me. The cat was stressed from the doctor mishandling him and from being sent home twice. He then put him down. Instead of allowing us to cry etc he scurried us out into the waiting room with an empty cat carrier to pay for the miservices his office caused My husband and I were unconsolable. They made us wait in a line to pay up instead of having the decency to pay in private. Many other pet owners in the waiting room told us they were disgusted at how we were treated. Their normal process is to pay in private and to leave our s back door. Thank you for screwing up his vet appointment. I blame your office for causing him the stress that took his poor life. Do better . I called a few days later and asked what the process was when a pet is put down. The office manager was shocked when I told her what happened. Why were we treated differently,? Avoid this hospital. Their poor communication, lack of processes in place, lack of empathy, and judgement is going to get them in serious trouble someday. Do better. Treat people better. I should have read the poor reviews. I will forever feel guilty for beinging my pet there.

We signed up for…read morethe plan at the visit that day (only required to pay the startup fee, $50) and he received ALL of his vaccinations, testing and all other benefits of the plan. Our little guy came up positive on a test for a major, life threatening issue at the visit. Dr. Burdick was very informative and understanding with all of our questions. We were given the beginning of the treatment then and there, and made the appointment for the next treatment. He had to stay the day for the next treatment, and when we came to pick him up it was obvious that they took great care of him, even decorating his bag of prescriptions with his name and hearts :) A nurse called the next morning to check in on him and make sure all was well. Their wellness plan is a great fit for us, and everyone there has been wonderful since day 1.

I would give this location zero stars if I could!…read more Extremely unprofessional, unwelcoming, and, in my experience, discriminatory toward large-breed dogs. We have never felt comfortable during our visits, as it always seems like our dog is viewed as a problem rather than a patient deserving of patience and understanding. During our last visit, my dog was hesitant to walk into the back with the staff, and the response I received was, "We will give it a college try." I found that comment dismissive and unprofessional. My dog spent nearly an hour underneath the bench where I was sitting and never displayed any aggression whatsoever. Her chart indicates that she should be medicated. However, I am not going to medicate my dog simply for the convenience of the staff when I do not believe it is necessary. She was not medicated during our last visit, and her behavior reinforced my belief that medication was not needed in that situation. What really sealed the deal was my conversation with the manager, who told me over the phone, "We know your dog can lose her minutes." Well, I can make decisions, too, and my decision is to take my business elsewhere!
