There is free parking and there is a gym...(the machines are at different parts of the area, some inside and outside), nice swimming pool and paddleball table. I think regarding the gym it's personal preference, because just my personal opinion I feel that the workout machines are just too close together in a small room, I'm not used to that. The machines however are great quality! They have a separate smaller room for cardio machines also. There are lots of outdoor tables and seats which is very nice.

Finally got my kid to be in a swim class and even though I had just had surgery and not allowed in the water...I wasn't allowed to be there because I didn't bring a bathing suit. You'll find these obnoxious reviews from angry people throwing a tantrum, but they're just the ones who refuse to follow the rules or think the rules don't apply to them. I've seen these people being very rude and yelling at the staff when the staff are just doing their job. The rules are right on the wall and people like to think they don't exist. Jennifer has been nothing but nice to me and my family all summer. The rest of the staff has been great as well! Matthew and Dakota are two lifeguards that we see often and they always nice and friendly as well. Alex in the office is always friendly and will even lend out goggles for kids who want to borrow some for the day. The entire staff here are so friendly and get treated so poorly by people who feel entitled to everything. Note: I asked why the slide is closed and I was told that they're so short staff. It's probably because people no longer want to work here because people treat them so badly. Keep treating these people poorly and soon you won't have a pool to come to.

She initially allowed my mom and daughter inside while I went back to the car for sunscreen. When I returned, she refused to let me in because I wasn't wearing a swimsuit. When I pointed out that my mom wasn't wearing one either, she abruptly told me that my mom would now have to leave too and that my eight-year-old daughter could stay at the pool BY HERSELF. What?? I understand the facility has rules and policies, and I would have had no problem following them once they were explained. However, these rules were not obvious to someone visiting for the first time, and I hadn't seen them when I looked up the pool beforehand. My issue wasn't simply the policy--it was the condescending way Carol communicated it and what appeared to be inconsistent enforcement, especially when I saw other guests on the pool deck in street clothes. When I addressed Carol about the way she had spoken to me on my way out, she immediately became defensive and called over "Jennifer." Jennifer initially apologized, but ultimately seemed dismissive of my concerns as well and focused on explaining the rules rather than acknowledging how the situation had been handled. I was visiting my mom from out of state and simply wanted to enjoy an afternoon at the pool with her and my daughter. Unfortunately, the way we were treated completely soured the experience, and we definitely won't be returning.

Many of the people we've met have become close our friends. Just last week MHCC put on a Cinco de Mayo Tennis live ball event and a party afterwards. The tennis and dinner were fantastic. The staff did a great job as always. Everything was very festive and fun! MHCC is a community and it's events like these that make MHCC a great place to be.

And on my first visit of the season, yesterday, I learned that they became a year-round pool this past year. If attendance increases, they may be a year round pool again this year, so please come out and support the pool. For those over 50 years old, you can buy a pass good for 30 entries for only $25! Ingrid, the manager, has made sure all the clocks work, and that the soap dispensers work in the outdoor showers. These are small things, but they make a difference to your experience there. Hours are 12 to 8 Tuesday through Friday, and 1-5 Saturday and Sunday. It's never been very crowded when I'm there. Come on out, and let's help them build attendance so they can stay open all year this year!

We've been attending Australian Swim School since 2024. I rate this a 4 star instead of a 5…read morebecause, objectively, the facility is outdated and is in dire need of sweeping repairs. We've had numerous canceled classes due to the heaters not working, or some other miscellaneous fix that's needed. With that being said, the reason we still take our toddler to this school is because of the staff. We've had incredible instructors like Ms. Bella and our current instructor, Mr. Dylan. They have made us feel so comfortable with her our child in the water. Her improvement and comfortability in the water is a testament to their tutelage. And we believe this level of excellence is cultivated from the top. We've had the good fortune of working directly with Flavio (Manager) for the vast majority of our time at the school. He's the best front facing representative any business could ask for. He's so intentional about making sure families feel seen and heard, and that the kids are always made to feel special. His warmth and general demeanor sets the high standard that permeates throughout the school. His leadership and willingness to meet each family where they are has kept us here and we look forward to seeing our little one continue to thrive under his and his team's guidance. Obviously, we hope there are some investments made into the facility, but in the meantime, we are happy to have found Australian Swim School and would encourage any new parent to trust them with their child.

They can't keep the door closed while "unlocked," so it is routinely propped open. In the summer this might be tolerable, but in the winter when it's 46f outside the cold air pours directly inside while children are in the pool or getting in and out of the pool wet. I'm sitting there fully dressed, in a jacket, completely dr and I'm cold. I can't imagine how cold the kids are getting out of the pool. This has been going on far too long and is unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. Maybe there is an agency that oversees this and they can be reported to. What's worse is that staff and coaches are not allowed to complain about these conditions because they'll be reprimanded. That puts parents in the position of watching obvious problems go unaddressed while management does nothing. The lack of concern for the kids wellbeing is frustrating. This isn't an isolated issue. The water fountain is leaking onto the concrete, just wasting water. The bathroom heaters broken for over three years, they now make noise but still don't generate any heat. Recurring pool heating issues The electrical closet constantly emits alarms and whistling noises Yet somehow money was found for a new iPad for checkin while basic infrastructure and safety issues are ignored. The coaches are great, and the kids love the lessons but the facility neglect overshadows everything. Until management prioritizes maintenance and the comfort and safety of children, I cannot recommend this swim school.

Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.

I have been training with the same coach for 10 years, but he lives outside the United States, so I train with him online. This has been my established training routine for many years. I was told that speaking on the phone while training is not allowed. I understand having rules, but the enforcement felt extremely inconsistent, as I regularly saw other members talking on the phone and recording videos while working out. I explained that I was not disturbing anyone, was not speaking loudly, and was willing to train in a corner. I spoke with the General Manager and explained that if I could not continue training with my coach, I would have to cancel my membership. Unfortunately, I was simply told that I could cancel. After being a member for over a year, I was extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. For a premium gym, I expected much better customer service and a more reasonable approach. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Equinox Woodland Hills. There are many newer gyms in the area with modern equipment, polite and welcoming staff, and much better customer service. In my opinion, Equinox Woodland Hills does not justify its premium price. Based on my experience, I do not recommend it.
