The staff at Galaxy Electric are polite from the moment they pick up the phone to the moment they drive away. They spend the extra time to sweat the details, such as swapping my smoke alarm mount with a color that matched more appropriately. I cannot praise this business enough for their great pricing, excellent service, and overall fantastic attitude. Absolutely give Galaxy a call for your electric needs and support a great small business! I will 100% be calling them to install my Tesla Level 2 charger next.

Galaxy Electric 5-stars *****…read more I was experiencing a "dead" outlet and was racking my brain over the cause (breaker nor GFCIs tripped). Roger came promptly and timely for the scheduled morning appointment. Very cheery and nice, he had only begun to work a few minutes, when he let me know he was finished. My "dead" outlet was my own daft oversight of a related wall-switch connected to the respective outlet (alas, for as long as I have lived here, I have never use that switch and must have knocked it to "off" at some point... silly me). Roger thankfully waived any charge for the work-order and we both had a big laugh about it ;D. Thank you Galaxy Electric, when I have a real issue regarding my electric, I will be sure to call and/or recommend anyone needing your service! Thank you again and hats-off to Roger for being so gracious with me; 5/5 stars *****

Very disappointing experience. I would not hire this electrician again…read more I hired Andrew and his team to rewire a house during a major renovation. Unfortunately, the project became extremely frustrating because of poor workmanship, repeated scheduling problems, poor material management, and a lack of follow-through. 1. Work repeatedly had to be checked and corrected. After I was told the rough-in work was finished, I found multiple wires still not properly connected at the electrical panel and several outlets without power. I reported the issues and was told they would be fixed, but after multiple return visits, I was still finding unresolved problems. The HVAC/heat-pump wiring was another example. The indoor unit required 208/230V, but it was connected incorrectly. I specifically brought this to Andrew's attention. He told me they needed to check the manufacturer label, even though the required voltage was clearly printed on the unit. Later I was told it had been corrected. Because of the previous problems, I checked it myself again and found that it was still only getting approximately 110V. They had to come back yet again. What bothered me most was that I could not rely on being told that something was "finished." I repeatedly had to go to the property myself, test the work, take pictures, and report the same or additional problems. 2. Poor material and job-site management. During rough-in, light fixtures that were intended to be installed later were left at the construction site while many other trades were still working. By the time we reached the trim stage, some fixtures could not be located and others were dirty, so I had to purchase additional fixtures. The electrical panel cover was also not installed and later could not be found. I eventually had to purchase another panel/cover just to get the correct cover. 3. Scheduling was extremely unreliable. Before the trim stage, I specifically asked Andrew how much advance notice he needed. He told me about one week. I scheduled approximately 10 days in advance. Despite that, the trim work dragged on for more than two weeks. On one scheduled Friday, I took the entire day off because his crew was supposed to come in the morning. Nobody showed up in the morning. Someone finally arrived in the afternoon, looked around, accomplished very little, and left. Similar scheduling problems happened repeatedly. Yet later I was told that the delays were because I had not scheduled early enough, which did not match our written messages. 4. Even minor inspection corrections took far too long. After the inspection, only relatively small corrections remained. Instead of resolving them promptly, different people came to the property multiple times, and the process dragged on for roughly two months before everything was finally completed. 5. The final stage was especially frustrating. My house was preparing to go on the market, so I repeatedly explained that completing the electrical work was time-sensitive. Instead of focusing on resolving the outstanding issues, near the end I was told that I needed to pay the remaining contract balance before they would continue the work. This was particularly frustrating because throughout the project, whenever Andrew sent me an invoice for completed work, I paid promptly. I was not someone who had repeatedly failed to pay him. I understand that renovation projects can have unexpected issues and that mistakes can happen. My problem was not one isolated mistake. It was the pattern: work being called finished when it was not, me discovering problems myself, repeated return visits, poor scheduling, missing materials, and a lack of ownership when problems needed to be corrected. I have photos and text-message records documenting the timeline and many of the issues described above. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

He provided a very clear quote after walking me through my options, had very competitive pricing, his crew provided excellent service, they explained everything that was going on throughout the day, and we could not be happier with the outcome. Adam and Kemly Electric are now my go to electricians. 100% recommend.

I had a very good experience with with them as the electrician was very knowledgeable of this process, the options that were available and once he got into the ceiling the challenges that needed to be addressed. Mike showed me the original shoddy installation of the duct work and gave me options on how to make this new installation work and also proceed in the future to have roofer come out and correct the issues. He took pictures of the areas and gave me instructions on what to tell the roofer. He didn't have to do this but I really appreciated his professionalism and honesty. I came away with the feeling that he is someone I could trust. All in all I am very happy with the results and I am going to use Kemly again in the near future of other projects that are coming down the pike.
