I worked in a building where a new carpet was installed and would get a headache every time I entered that room. I had to stay out of it for a whole year! My parents agreed to look for a no-VOC carpet and Tony and the team at Father, Sons & Daughters worked closely with my family to source and install a new carpet which both contains no VOCs and was installed in a manner with the least toxicity from the glue. They answered my questions by phone and were very helpful when I visited the store to get more info. I would highly recommend the team at F,S & D! The carpet looks great, and no headaches!

I found Andrei through a Yelp Project request, and he is easily the single best expert and service…read moreprovider that I've come across through years of using Yelp Projects. I needed to get the hinges replaced on a noisy inside door of my house (the joys of being a new homeowner), and I got several responses from contractors across Yelp. Andrei's stood out both because it was the lowest price quote, and he had the best reviews of any other respondent. It seemed a little too good to be true, but I figured it was worth taking a chance. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). He also left the space clean, and was very courteous from start to finish. I am so thrilled to have found Andrei, because as a new homeowner, I am discovering fun new surprises in the house that I purchased late last year all the time. Now I know just who to turn to when the surprise is too much for my husband or I to handle on our own.
