Master Mechanic Steve is awesome. I can come to him anytime with questions and he's extremely fair with his prices. The garage may be a bit of mess but the performance is immaculate. His work truly speaks for him. All Care Auto all the way. read more

If every single review is five stars except for one... and the one that's not five stars was not even from a customer ... I just had my car fixed by Steve. I thought it was going to be a way more expensive job than it turned out to be. Pleasantly surprised and relieved. Awesome and trustworthy mechanic - how many times do you hear those two words in the same sentence?? Ps to the negative reviewer - a polite message pointing out a different point of view is NOT harassing you. You sending me four messages in five minutes, well.... you have the elite badge, not me. Aggy, just because you trying to park illegally in a restricted area -- that does not give you the right or knowledge to publicly rate someone's business. The description of the man you're talking about doesn't even sound like the business owner. People are so quick to jump on Yelp when they are upset. I wish as many people would do the same when they have exceptional service. We owe that to the mom n pop shops out there. read more

My family has known Steve, who is the owner and sole worker of this shop, for many many many years. In fact, it might be more than a decade! Even though I now live in San Mateo, I take my car to Steve for everything from oil changes to big jobs. Steve is honest and will give you no-BS answer to your questions. He won't try to sell you additional parts/services that you don't need even if you know nothing about your car. And I feel that the rates he charges are very fair compared to other shops. Now, I might be a bit biased because my family has known Steve for a long time. So I am including a review posted on Google Maps business by Luciano Torres: "Great Mechanic, Steve is one of a kind. Honest and really knows his stuff. He tells you what's wrong with your car, and doesn't try to up sell. He gets the job done quickly and efficiently. He know that your vehicle is important to you and will tell you when the job will be done and he delivers. Steve has been my mechanic since he opened his shop, about 10 years, and I never take my cars anywhere else. All of my friends and family take our cars to Steve. Highly recommended." Before I jump in the review for Steve & All Care Auto, let me provide a little background. My wife and I are new to CA, well we were at the time. So, as it was time to service our cars, we asked friends for some recommendations. Most had their own guy and none of them were the same guy. The only one mechanic that popped up a couple times was this guy Kevin in Mountain View - So we went there. My car has never been the same. Four times to Kevin's before I refused to give him the chance to screw up my car more. I took my car to yet another place and they said they'd need to basically redo Kevin's work and I would wind up paying for all that work twice. I finally gave up and looked on Yelp and found Steve at All Care Auto. I saw a review from someone who had similar issues with the Mtn View guy and Steve helped him out. What a gift!!! Steve has now been servicing my car for the past year and slowly fixing all the issues created when I first got to CA. I took my car in for an oil change and asked him to inspect everything because some things still weren't right. He found a leak in my exhaust pipe, a wheel bearing that needed to be replaced, my radiator cap replaced, brakes (pads & rotors) on a 4wheel drive vehicle. He did all that & the oil change, I got my car back the same day, and the price was less than what I'v been quoted on the brakes from other places in the past. Steve is easily one of the best mechanics I've known. Easy to talk to, will show you what he replaced and explain all the whats and whys. On top of that he more than fairly priced. As long as I'm in the Bay Area, Steve will be my mechanic. read more

Steve the owner took great care of my RSX and only charged us $40. He seems contrary to the stereotypical auto shops that always find something that needs to be fixed. He's done some work for my parents and didn't charge them a dime. Seems to be an honest and pretty straightforward dude. read more

Loved this place not the most cleanliness of garage but the work is clean.. he's very honest with what need to be done with the car and what's not Pricing or the cheapest around. He quote me for both of my axel replace @400 where the other shops are 500+.. found him from a friend of my gf. . Definitely will take my car to Steve's All Auto Care from now on whether it's a small or big job.. read more

Was referred here by Champion Auto Body shop on el camino, and Steve helped me out at a great price - I got several things repaired on my first generation Toyota Prius, such as a new drive belt, new engine air filter, a new coolant pump, new oil, a couple windsheild wipers... and all together it was less than $300. i dropped off my car on friday afternoon and it was ready by saturday morning. he called me with updates and to make sure i was okay with all the changes he was making, and called me when the car was ready. all in all i was very happy with the service. read more

Steve is the best mechanic I've met. He quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my car and charged me very fairly. Unlike other large shops, Steve advices you on not fixing certain things because is not necessary. He looks out for you and treats your wallet as if it his. I will definitely come back for anything my car needs and highly recommend him. read more

You wont find a more personable, honest and professional mechanic than Steve.

Steve has been working on my Infiniti for some time now. He's knowledgeable, friendly and honest. It's a one man shop so he's plenty busy.

I recently started taking my car to All Care Auto and my god Steve is amazing with the quality work, the price, and speed he fixes your car in! If it were possible I would give Steve and All Care Auto 10 stars, seriously he is amazing. I will be taking my car here and refering my friends and family to him. read more

Steve did an engine swap on my race car in record time so I could race again quickly. He's wrenching on all my cars and my friends' too... If he can't do it, he'll tell you right away but chances are, he can fix your issue. Also use him for regular maintenance items. He can even do tires! One stop shop, love it! read more

Steve is great! He is always fair and honest. I won't go anywhere else. Steve always charges a great price and never over charges or tries to upsell me. Thanks for the great service. read more

Finding the right auto shop was a nightmare of a process, like the mechanic knocks on the tire and asks "do you know what that sound means?" "No?" "Well, that tells me you need 4 new tires!" Well years ago, a friend handed me Steve's card and my family and I have been blessed to trust our cars to Steve's shop ever since. All Care Auto is a one stop shop, he is always on budget, let's you know just what's wrong, he's straight about what's upcoming, and then doesn't mess with anything else. I'm only bummed I didn't know about this place sooner. I've been to about a dozen other shops prior and got stuck with either outrageous quotes, late work, or the make-you-wait upselling (the worst). No worries now. read more
