The first company told us that the floors were too old & worn and that the only way we could refresh them was to rip out the original floors and replace them with modern panels. We mentioned how sad we were to lose our original floorboards to a friend and they suggested we reach out to Adam at Wood Vitalize. I'm glad we did! Adam came to the house and, immediately after saying hello, got down on his hands and knees to give them a close look. He helped us to pick an option that would protect the floors and give them some new life, without sanding off the character they'd gotten over the last 90 years. He also helped ensure the rose inlay in the original floors wouldn't get destroyed with his process (other flooring companies had told it was unsaveable). Wood Vitalize's quote for the work was reasonable and they even replaced a few floorboards that had gone rotten underneath the radiator without charge (thanks again!). They were able to do all the floors in our 3/2 townhouse in one day (arrived on time, stayed late until it was done). I'm very pleased with their work and owe our friend who referred them a big thank you! So I'm passing it forward. If you've got floors with history and you want to keep them don't let someone talk you into ripping them out until you talk to Adam!

The first two services seemed like they were rushing to get a quote, or wanted to add on a la carte for what I needed done for my tub. He even took the time to ask me questions about this tub I inherited for our new two bedroom unit. He quoted me at a similar estimate, but it was his phone mannerisms that made me book him. I called him on new years eve, and he came to reglaze my tub following holiday. Jorge was punctual, polite, and assessed my tub when he arrived. He assured me that he would be finished in a few hours, and I returned to see that he cleaned up the area, gave me instructions on aftercare, as well as delivered what I had asked for. I was quite impressed by a business that didn't have a single review yet! I would highly recommend Jorge to redo another tub. He made it look like new, and in a much better condition than when I first got the unit.
