Please. If there is anything you read today and take to heart, let it be this review. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with; not just dry cleaners, but any business!
Now, I went into the store on a Monday and needed to have three suit jackets dry cleaned and have three suit pants altered. They said that it would be ready the following Monday. I needed one of them for that weekend so I asked if that one could possible have a rush put on it. She said she could see what she could do and they she would hopefully have them ready on Thursday. Fantastic! 5:00pm Thursday comes around and I go to pick up my suits and the rushed pants; however, the clothes were still at the Dunham location. So, instead of waiting another day I said I would drive over there and pick them up myself. I pick up my suit jackets and pair of pants and the lady says that my other pants were altered but they had gotten chalk on them when doing the alterations and decided to clean them for me. Sweet! She then tells me that they will have them ready for pick up at the Turner location by lunch on Friday. Awesome! Three days ahead of schedule! On Friday at 4:00 pm I go back to the turner location expecting to have my nice altered pants. However, they tell me that the clothes are still at the other location and would be here Friday at 5:00pm. So, instead of waiting an hour or driving back an hour later I decided to just come back Monday, because for sure they would have them. Wrong! I go back Monday at 5:00 pm definitely expecting to be leaving with my pants. I ask the woman if my pants are ready and she tells me that they are still in process and would be ready by Monday at 5:00. I then explain to here that it is in fact Monday at 5:00. Clearly someone doesn't know how to read a calendar or clock. She then looks in the back, but can't find them. She then calls the Dunham location and asks for them to drive the finished orders over and explains that it will take 15 minutes for the van to get there. Aggravated, I leave and go to the store real quick and return 20 minutes later. As I am walking to the door I see that the van is there, so surely my pants should be ready. By now I'm sure you have figured out that they were not. I stand there patiently waiting as she looks for my pants once again. After about 7 minutes she calls the Dunham location once again, and she is informed that my pants were in fact brought back on Friday. She then tells me that they will look for my pants and call me back. I then leave complete pissed at this unorganized, POS business. I have had clothes dry cleaned and altered by dry cleaners before on many occasions (not by this one mind you), but I have never had to deal with any of this sh** before. I fully expect to receive a call saying they cannot find my pants and that "they are sorry for the inconvenience" as they continually stated throughout this affair.
I really hope you read this review and will really think about this before you use this business. If you are just getting clothes cleaned, I hope that you choose a different establishment, but if you do use this place, I hope they treat you better than they have me. If you are looking to get any sort of alterations done, you are better off doing it yourself or just throwing it in the trash, because at least then you wouldn't have wasted the time that I have and you would still be in the same position as me; without pants.
UPDATE: I went back Wednesday (a day short of two weeks) and they finally had my pants! Fantastic! I then go home to try them on. Turns out the dipshit who does their alterations doesn't know how to read. I left the pants with instructions to have the waist let out 2 inches. Apparently, that was jibberish because she took the pants in 2 inches....So, now I have completely unwearable pants. read more
