Visited this place for the first time today after driving past it many many times over the years. First of all, I was immediately impressed that it smells so nice in there considering there are tons of puppies. You couldn't smell old pee at all which tells me cleanliness is important to them. They had a large selection of adorable puppies available, friendly help, little play areas to interact freely with the pup of your choice, and each doggy pen was clearly labeled with the breed and breeder information. Their prices are steep (around $1800 per pooch) but I guess that's normal when buying a dog?? I'm still deciding but certainly will visit this top notch facility again. read more

He was a mutt and cost me thousands of dollars during his life. I looked up the breeder and she was from Missouri. A puppy mill of course that was shut down for deplorable conditions. I would never buy a puppy at this place, judging simply on the way the staff (if you can call them that) does little or nothing to stop the pups from being mauled. I have stopped in a few times to look at the puppies and perhaps get one. I see dirty cages, children yanking the dogs up and out of the cages, adults opening cages and taking dogs out, when the cage has a sign not to, while the few workers stand around doing nothing. You ask a question about almost any puppy in the place and nobody seems to know anything about it. I have read reviews about the company as a whole, and they were not good. People have paid thousands of dollars and ended up with sick or diseased animals. On top of it all, they are ridiculously over priced on every puppy, some of which are "Made up" breeds and basically Heinz 57 mixed breeds. Do yourself a big favor. Either buy from a reputable private breeder or better yet, adopt a rescue dog at the pound. read more

On October 30 my partner and I bought a puppy from "All About  Puppies" in Tampa Florida.  In addition, my sister-in-law bought a new  puppy as well.  Within 24 hours both puppies had to be rushed to the ER  in the middle of the night because of their respiratory breathing.  I am  not sure about many people but we treat our dogs as our children.  They are family to us.  We rushed the babies to the ER in Winter Haven FL  and came to find out they were very sick with a kennel cough and a long  list of other issues.  As we were at the ER the Veterinarian asked where  we bought both puppies from and once we shared the company the  veterinarian said they have two puppies in the back from the same  company fighting for their life for the same reason.  We contacted All  About Puppies and they told us to keep them informed of the outcome. For  two months we spent several nights and days in and out of the ER with  our babies.  During those two months now the rest of our family also  attracted kennel cough even though they were vaccinated for it. $20,000.00  and three and half months later we have finally got a clean bill of  health through all the veterinarians and ER Doctors. During  this time emails were going back and forth to All about puppies.  Now  that the little baby is scared and he attached himself to us we were  going to make sure he was going to have a good life because clearly All  About puppies weren't taking care of at least these two puppies as well  as the known animals at the ER.  The owner promised to reimburse us plus  reimburse us for the expenses of the "other babies" because of her lack  of healthy puppies. Today, we still haven't been reimbursed. As I am doing my research on the company "All about puppies" I am finding  the same issue with other people past clients that have bought from this  company.  Their babies are having respiratory issues. You will find  that report at the bottom of the email.  My belief is that she knows  these puppies are coming from puppy mills and selling them as purebred. If  you have any interest in speaking more about this please don't hesitate  to contact us.  We would be more than happy to speak and put a stop to  the mistreated puppies. Now it's time to report this erroneous act of behavior to the authorities and news media outlets. Still waiting on the refund! read more

Travis helped us adopt our Aussie and honestly he deserves the world. He was so nice and helped us through the painful process of filling out the application (which definitely needs improvement, but that's not on him). He reassured us and gave us all the information we needed while telling us all about his own pup at home and just overall being a great guy and an awesome employee. You could tell he really cares about who he sends these pups home with and that has a great worked. I hope he gets a raise or a promotion or at least a bonus or something because he was great. I was originally hesitant about purchasing my puppy from All About Puppies because of the stigma. However, I don't think I would have done anything differently. Immediately after walking in we laid eyes on our now puppy, a miniature Australian Shepard, and we knew then that we needed to bring him home. We were initially stressed about the price but All About Puppies offers multiple financing options (we went with the option that did not require credit and automatically charges our account at the beginning of every month). Overall making the cost of our puppy not t too bad. A package including a first free vet visit (at one of their preferred clinics), updated shots, a bag of food as well as a "warranty" is included. At the end of it all you are basically all set. The staff was also friendly and we would definitely come again if not for the fear of leaving with another puppy haha... read more

There are lots of these negative reviews and while I wont say they're lies or false, most of them are from long ago. I went today with a couple of friends to look at puppies, and even after reading the reviews, I was still excited anyways. We walked in and started playing with the puppies. The cages were clean, puppies themselves were really clean too. There was no foul smell anywhere we went, the puppies looked extremely happy and healthy and were very excited to see us. We started leaving at 6:00 and chatted with an employee just about dogs for a little. The guy we talked to was extremely nice and knowledgeable about dogs and different breeds. He really looked like he cared about these puppies and it showed when he mentioned "food" before he began feeding them. I'm so happy I got to play with a bunch of cute, nice, clean, and healthy puppies. Again, I'm not discrediting the reviews. Maybe the place didn't use to be this good, and maybe those reviews made that place turn around. But today? This place is like a puppy paradise for everyone. read more

Bought my little girl Stella from here today. I went to many different places looking for the right miniature dachshund. I was well informed with the breed, so many places I went to before told me facts about them I knew were already false. (Example; their grown weight average) However, Candice helped me out and knew exactly the right information on them. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and never rushed us to buy her or to spend time with her. She also showed me pictures of her dog, who was of the same breeder mine came from. Perfect tempered dog and very happy! So glad I stopped in today or my four month dachshund search would still be on! Applause to this business. I visited this location last week an hour before closing time. I've never seen it like this. I was just devastated with what I was seeing... all of the dogs were going nuts, trying desperately to jump out of their cages, and none of the workers were doing ANYTHING. One girl was just sitting on her phone. As a dog lover this is super hurtful to watch. I love visiting your location to see all the puppies but this makes me never want to visit again. I found my best friend, an Australian Shepard, at All About Puppies in Largo, FL about a year and a half ago. I had my heart sent on an aussie and was looking at shelters and online for dogs in need, and went to this store "just too look at breeds" -- but who was I kidding. I fell in love with the last standard-sized aussie left, all alone and going on 4 months old (which is when they can no longer hold him there), so $350 down and a $1,000 loan later (yes, a that's a huge loan for a dog, I know), I took him home. It sounds like a great story, so why the 2 stars? They get one extra star for giving me my best friend, but my best friend has been a sick dog since he was about 8 months old, and has gotten sicker with age. He just turned two on April 11th, and he was recently been diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), a hereditary autoimmune disease from overbreeding aussies that causes regular pancreatitis. I've contacted the location by phone, email, and Facebook, and the only person to talk to me told me to call customer service and gave me an incorrect number, so I left a sad voicemail for some poor girl to listen to, but even she had the decency to call me back. I don't want anything from this company. I just want them to contact his breeder from Springfield MO, whose last name is Hampton and first name starts with a B., and whose USDA # was listed as "Hobby" on my paperwork (which I didn't realize until trying to find all of his medical records to give to his new vet to get his full history for the best treatment possible), to tell him to stop breeding his sick dogs. I know someone at All About Puppies will read this. Please make this right, if not for me, for Puppy # X1246. read more

This is one of my favorite pet stores. The set-up allows you to come in and play with any puppy you want without having to call someone over to take the puppy of your choice out to view. The dogs are well socialized because of the traffic this place draws in, you'll never pick up an insane dog with pinned up energy due to all of their attention. The dogs are displayed in open crates that offer ease of access. They it in shredded paper that the staff constantly interchange. Most often there isn't a smell, and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get the dog you want. During our visit they just sold the last of the breed we were looking for. They immediately offered to put us on the waiting list and call us as soon as what we wanted came in. Great place to stop in for a quick cuddle with one of their adorable pups or finding your next best friend. read more

My experience with all about puppies has been bitter/sweet. I purchased my English bulldog from them Feb. 13th 2015. I named her Nala. For 9 months nala was the love of my life. She was born 11-20-14. Nala got meningitis back in September and eventually passed away 10/25/15. My husband and I are devestated, and someone suggested to let all about puppies know. I did that. I spoke to a woman named Regina in their customer service dept. And told her what happened and I could not believe what she did. NOT ONLY DID THEY REFUND ME 100%OF WHAT I PAID FOR NALA, BUT SHE ALSO GAVE A STORE CREDIT FOR THE FULL AMOUNT TOWARDS ANOTHER PUPPY, AND GAVE ME 8 MONTHS TO DECIDE ON WHAT PUPPY I WANT. What more could you ask from an orginization ? If anyone bashes this place, your a f**kn loser. And should look at yourself first. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to replace nala, but if I do ... all about puppies is where I'll go, and would recommend them to anyone. Within 12 days the dog needed to be hospitalized. One particular animal required board certifide care for a pneumonia and cost the owner over $5000. I call on any attorneys or PETA organizations members to help me shut this pet store down. At the very least place it on the radar of all regulatory bodies. read more

Disgusted by the people at this shop. I was with my two kids looking for another dog to add to our family. We were told al dogs were available to be handled as long as the adults picked them up and kids didn't handles. We picked up a Pomeranian and had my kids sit down on the floor just to let and see how the dog was with them. Keep in mind my kids are 15 and 12. One of the experienced unintelligent girls working there's so us was the cage opened and I answered no. She took the dog from us and said she could not be handled after she told us "all" dogs could be handled by adults. I then witness another woman with a 5 year old holding the same dog and I asked the same stupid girl if the dog all of a sudden could be handled? She said this women is interested in buying. I then ask her when did I tell her I wasn't interested? She stuttered and then another idiot girl came up and said first of all hold old are the kids? This is stupid question is coming from the same girl I heard 5 minutes prior say "take this stupid dog from here" because the puppy want cooperating while she was taking pictures of it to post online. It seems besides profiling these idiots are more interested in selling there dogs online then to families in person. It's even questionable to assume these dogs could be from puppy mills since all paperwork wasn't on file for the Pomeranian we were looking at. I'll take my money elsewhere. Note to the owner invest in qualified employees that are catering to people paying cash for expensive dogs and stop relying on minimum wage kids trying to sell dogs on financing plans read more

First off and foremost to any person out there trying to adopt puppies or any animals. This place isn't humane in any way nor is it safe in the way they are marketing off the puppies. No animal should go through what I saw in there and it is a shame to other adoption's out there when they saying they are trying to find loving homes for these pets. Why do I say this because my first frustration with them is that the place is unsanitary and not properly run by someone who is knowledgeable on how to take care of animals. They all have their individual cage and hay like material to lay on, a food bowl and water. Simply to put everything happens within that cage even bowel movements. Worst of all they don't change it to the end of the day giving them time to eat their poop like I witness one puppy doing. Which can increase their chance of inheriting a disease or sickness. What I'm also ashamed of is the price for one puppy is in the thousands. So that I can paint a picture for everyone, the puppy I purchased was $3200 dollars. That within itself is a problem because they are telling the customers to take an inherent risk when buying them. So if they die or get sick then they tell you don't worry they cover for a certain time but what happens when that time of coverage expire and your paying out the ass for a sick puppy you got from them. I know you might think I'm a fraud or a hypocrite because I bought a puppy from there and thinking why did I do it if they are so awful? Because at least one less puppy has to suffer at that place, at least I have a heart to do what is right. I'm warning you, future customers, not to fall for their trick! Because I guarantee you will get a sick puppy and I'm not wasting your time to make it up. My proof is 1 day after purchase my puppy got really ill and I went to the vet afterwards. It wasn't by pure coincidence three other customers from that same place showed up in the parking lot showing the same symptoms I was disappointed. So please take me seriously and don't invest in them. Don't invest in heartless people who don't care about these little precious beings. read more

they have the cutest, most adorable puppies... that are being treated SO HORRIBLY. i have many complaints. first: i am visiting my mom and looking for a new puppy to keep my dog company, so we decided to go look for one here. when we walked in there was no "hi welcome", "hi can i help with anything", or "hi how are you". they said nothing and proceed to text and talk on their phones. second: a dog pooped in the cage and it took the workers about 10 minutes to take time off their phones to go clean in up, AFTER someone reported it. that poor puppy. third (the worst): they keep some puppies in a back room and separate from the others. this is where the "new puppies" get placed. when the "delivery man" came with the new puppies, they were placed in a cage WRAPPED IN A TRASH BAG. it is 92 degrees outside and those poor puppies were probably so hot. and he was flipping the bags and throwing them onto the ground. this kid was so careless of the well-being of these puppies. last: you need to be 18 to handle the puppies and need to use hand sanitizer. they were too busy on their phones and gossiping to even ask anyone their age and to tell people to use hand sanitizer. i feel horrible for these puppies that live like this. i can't believe this place is still open. read more

I bought a scottish terrier from All about Puppies in 2007, he was a beautiful pup and the love of my life. Then I became involved in rescue, and started to do research on the "kennel" that my pup came from. It is what is called a "mega mill", They have over 900 breeding dogs at this location. All about puppies buys a lot from them. These animals lives do not consist of love and freedom. They are not part of the family. More like captives. It makes me sad to think that my baby's parents lived like this. Not only that, but this breeder is not breeding for the health of the breed, or in the best interest. They are just producing puppies. Shamus died on 04/20/15 at the age of 7 from TCC. They puppy may be completely adorable, and irresistible, but what about his parents? I have gone to this place in the past just to get my "puppy fix" and there has never been a problem before. I went in today and was appalled by what I had seen. The floors were horribly disgusting. Every single cage had pee and poop in it and the staff just covered it up with more paper. There was three associates, two of which were female and one was a male and all of them sat on their phones at the counter. Never said hello never even acknowledged the fact that we were there. The smell in there was appalling due to the amount of pee and poop the animals had to sit in. All of the dogs were sad and depressed from what they had going on. This place needs to be shut down and revamped. I will probably never go here again unless it's just to check that there is no dead dogs. IT WAS THAT BAD! We got our dog here a couple years ago- a Labrador retriever. My father bought him. He had an array of health problems that the vet attributed to coming from unhealthy breeding/being from a puppy mill type setting. We had to put him down at only a couple years old after endless health issues. It put my family through hell. These people don't care about their dogs. They're just trying to make money off potentially sick dogs while there are shelters filled with dogs everywhere. Beware of buying a puppy- we spent thousands and thousands of dollars and years of effort trying to save our beloved dog. I am thoroughly disappointed. I looked up the hours before coming, arrived and the doors were locked. We looked in the windows and the lights were on and the puppies were all in their cages. After waiting 30 minutes (because at this point I feared something was wrong), a lady walked up who knew someone who worked here. She called her friend and the friend said they'd be closed for the rest of the day (which was at least 3 hours early) because they were having a meeting. DO NOT USE THEM. All About Puppies is only concerned about their bottom line and has no regard for the health or well-being of their "product". Our family has experienced a tragic loss due to the gross medical negligence of these people while our puppy was in their care, and we were forced to bury our puppy a short two weeks after adoption. After informing AAP of our loss, the only consolation offered was a "credit" towards our next purchase with them, which will not be happening. This is a puppy mill of the worst kind, and needs to be investigated for the good of these animals and the community. Not good! The set up used to be much nicer. The poor overpriced puppies appeared to have been drugged. They were all asleep and lethargic in the middle of the afternoon.....not typical for energetic pups. The prices are so unfair for those poor babies.
