Then on the 4th of July weekend, he listed another 2016 for sale, they were closed so I left a message. I was surprised to get a return call, made the car sound great. Then he says that he has another 2016 with white interior for sale. I reminded him of the talk we had on that one. He told me that If I drove from Ohio to see them, I could have my choice. Are you sure, I said. He said that he would drive the white interior one to work on Monday. No checks, he preferred cash. We left Ohio Sunday morning and drove 12hours, that only left about 2 hours to get there. I wanted to get there when he opened. I see one car with black vinyl interior really, really rough outside. front repainted, clearcoat peeling off in places, many, many, paint chips, scratches. My worst night mare come true. So, I asked where is the car with the white/blue interior ??? He had the nerve to say that his wife wants to keep that one... After having both for sale online, knowing that I was driving 14 hours one way to see 2 cars, I had his word that they would both be there. This man is a Liar, has No Compassion, No Honesty, Do Not Trust Him !!!

The dealership bought me the wrong part, so I then took the car to my mechanic, as I didn't feel they were knowledgeable when ordering the part, how can I put trust in the mechanic you send me to, whom I've never heard of (my husband is a tow truck driver in town and we know and have relationships with a lot of the mechanics in our County). Not only did it need a throttle body, but also needed new spark plugs and coils, an oil change. Not a problem. However, some of the coils had ELECTRICAL tape around them, which I dropped off to the dealership along with the original part and receipt for said part along with receipt from my mechanic for verification. A week and a half later, my shifter goes out. $270 and another 2 days in the shop, I got the car back. I informed the dealership of this as well. Then last Friday, April 15th, the seal on my sunroof started to fall in on me. My tags had been due the day previously and when the dealership called to tell me they were in, I let them know about the sunroof issue. His response was "Well, you owe me $59 for your tags, I'll see you when you get here". I hung up....then waited until I gained some composure and called back and asked why on earth, if I've put so much money into this car in the 1st month, why I should have to pay for my tags? And the response I got was "well, if i listened to everyone who said i owed them money, i'd be broke". Now, being the mother to a special needs child with Autism and a feeding tube, my childs doctors are all over an hour away. She goes to a private Autism school that cost more than most colleges on a yearly basis. I absolutely cannot continue to put more and more money into a car to have it in the shop for 10 out of 30 days. I absolutely cannot trust that my child can be transported daily in a vehicle that is completely unreliable. And I REFUSE to be taken advantage of, by anyone. I fight daily for my daughter's successes, and all of my fight goes to protecting and advocating for her. I've brought said dealership countless referrals, my daughters father has bought more than 1 car from them, and they were considered family friends until this situation. Friday after that conversation, I cleaned out the car and returned it and the single key I had to it. I've not heard from the dealership since. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! They will take advantage of you and whatever situations you have going on in your life and use them to their advantage. I'm now trying to work with the BBB on exposing this company and their horrible dealings.

This started the day I dropped the vehicle off on February 2nd. I had seen mixed reviews, but I took a chance. When I spoke with Harold and Dakota (his son), they quoted me what felt like a fair price and told me the car would be ready in about two weeks. I made it clear I needed it back by Monday because I had jury duty and VA doctor appointments. Dakota assured me that wouldn't be an issue. About a week in, I reached out for an update -- no calls back. That became a pattern. I called around 15 times. Only two were answered, both by the front desk. Most of the time my calls were ignored. That level of communication is frustrating and honestly unprofessional. Roughly ten days after dropping the car off, I went to check on it and saw they had only just started sanding. At that point the promised completion date was only a few days away, which didn't make sense. Because I couldn't get updates by phone, I had to keep driving there in person. I was even told at one point, "Don't call, just come up and talk to me." Each time I showed up, I was given another date. Monday. Then Tuesday. Then Wednesday. None of those happened. Calls still weren't returned. The front desk repeatedly said I'd get a call back, I never did. Meanwhile I missed three VA appointments and had to reschedule jury duty because I didn't have my vehicle. By Thursday I was done waiting. I told them I was coming down. When I arrived, it was clear communication had broken down completely. At that point I contacted the police, not to cause problems, but to document that I was trying to retrieve my vehicle. The officer explained there wasn't much they could do beyond advising a civil standby when I picked the car up. I had also seen other reviews mentioning confrontations, so I wanted everything documented just in case. When I finally went to pick the car up on Friday, at first glance it looked fine through the window. Once I saw it up close at home and under the sun, there were lots of issues. The top had been installed incorrectly -- the gasket was flipped on both sides. There were areas where touch-up paint was used instead of proper finishing. Parts like the inside of the door handle were sanded but not repainted, leaving a rough texture where you constantly touch the car. The interior was also left very dirty. They had the vehicle for three weeks. Some people may ask why I didn't have them fix it. After waiting that long and dealing with the communication problems, I didn't have confidence the process would improve. The timeline kept slipping, and most of the time the car was just sitting there when I visited. My biggest issue here isn't just the quality -- it's the lack of communication, the owner lying about me saying things I didnt say and missed commitments. If phone calls were returned and timelines were realistic, this experience would have felt very different. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking into other body shops. If you check BBB and Google reviews, you'll see similar complaints about delays and communication. Cars seem to sit for long stretches, and the person doing the work often wasn't the one I originally spoke with. The reason im giving a 2 star instead of a 1, is because they actually painted it the color I wanted. That was my experience. The full footage is on youtube

Long story short they install an aftermarket part on my car when I specifically wanted my car repaired to OEM specs. It was even more telling, after I price the OEM part based off how low the estimate price was. The aftermarket part was a lot smaller than the original. They did not reinstall my fender well clips. Instead that rolled my fender damaging the paint. The front facia has a lot of scratches as if it were dropped. Also noticed the ripped the facia clips on removal. As I mentioned long story short, this "$600"repair resulted in an extra $3500 in damage to my car. I highly recommend going to another shop. I've heard a lot of horror stories since dealing with this shop. I really wish I heard all of it before hand.
