I called All About Locks & Safes to replace the deadbolt and handle on my front door. First, I appreciate that I was able to make an appointment via text, it made things much easier for me! Mason came out the next day, right on time and got to work. Michael, the owner, stopped by to make sure everything went smoothly. The service was very affordable ($140) and they made duplicate keys for us in addition to the hardware install. I would definitely do business with them again! Thank you!! read more

I had lost my chip key from my fob. I was getting quotes of upwards of $300 from other locksmiths, Mazda dealership, Costco kiosk. This company was able to get to my location within an hour. Cut me a new basic transponder for $200. I would've had to wait until Monday to see the dealership. Which means I would've been off work another day read more

Prompt and efficient service. Job requested was completed with friendly service . Had a door rekeyed so that both back and front door could use the same key. I think Michael is a wizard. Came through and quickly installed and rekeyed all my locks very quickly, and fixed an issue someone else had created. The service was great and it was clear he knew what he was doing. I also appreciate that he responded quickly and reliably to messages. If I ever have any locksmithing needs, I'll definitely be calling him. Thanks! read more

Mike was very thorough and experienced. He explained what needed to be done. He fixed the problem with the keys and made a new one. I appreciate his kindness and expertise. I would highly recommend All around locks! read more

Very responsive. Clearly busy as it took a while to get the appointment. His communication was good. However. Our issue was an old rolltop desk. He patiently tried 1 million keys and nothing worked. He did not charge us since he was unable to solve the problem, which was great. I went on Amazon and bought two random skeleton keys for $10, and one of them opened it. This is a desk that had been Locked for years and he was actually the second locksmith we tried. I think it's bizarre that a locksmith wouldn't think to just have a couple of skeleton keys handy. Anyway, maybe he's good at the more modern and complicated stuff? So I dinged him a star because he didn't do the obvious -- but otherwise our experience with him was solid. read more

I would highly recommend this service all about locks and safes I moved out to Chico from Southern California all by myself I get here and the truck is battery's dead and I'm locked out of the truck and I have stuff in there and they came they got it open quick and they got it all taken care of Fast and I'm high grateful for their services I recommend this company 150%! read more

Michael was very professional and responsive, showed up on time, worked quickly and only charged me $100 to program and cut two new key fobs for my husband's F150. I would HIGHLY recommend him. I called and left a message Sunday night and he texted me first thing Monday, set up a time and came that day. As another piece of helpful info...I got the key fobs on eBay for $18 (with batteries!) and they worked perfectly (eBay seller was extra-partss). All in all, going this route was way more affordable than going to the dealer who wanted to charge around $200 for each key fob. I will be using All About Locks & Safes as my go to locksmith from now on. read more

Best locksmith in the country! Came to me, unlocked my trunk in record time and hooked me up with a spare key cause I'm nice, so I wouldn't get locked out again, he even was able to make a another spare with a key fob so I can start my car also for a better deal than any dealer would make. One stop shop and I didn't even have to go anywhere. Definitely recommend anyone who needs a locksmith. Also you can get an estimate through Yelp and not even have to make a call. Very convenient and accepts all payments. Wish all businesses did business like Mike(owner)! read more

I wish I could get my husband to stop breaking off his key in the ignition of his truck, but since he has done it twice in the last two or three months, it is GREAT to have a fabulous locksmith like Michael Meyer. He is very professional, gets to our issue as quickly as possible, and does a wonderful job. We own a business in Chico and we have had All About Locks & Safes come out to work on the locks on our doors, up at our house, and our home and work vehicles. Mike is a total lifesaver! I was on a road trip and sadly lost the car keys to my Honda. I had no idea what to do since the key was a computerized and the dealership was closed. Lost my car remote. Finally, after searching everywhere, I called the dealer who referred me to All About Locks & Safes, because they contract with them. Michael answered my call right away, gave me a (great) price and and an appointment right away. 2 days later, I have a new remote and 2 keys within 20 minutes of when he arrived. I'm telling everyone about this business. Before I was referred here, I found a place online that couldn't get a tech to me before 2 1/2 weeks and I would have to pay 100 % in advance. Their price was 2x as much as All About Locks. To say I'm a happy customer is an understatement! read more

I found All About Locks & Safes based on other reviews and set up a time for him to meet with my son to get 2 new keys made from the spare parts in our possession. For a fraction of dealership prices, we got 2 new keys cut and programmed. Best of all, he came to the car, which made it easier to coordinate with my son. On budget, on time, courteous, and professional. Highly recommended! read more

I lost my car key and needed a new one. The dealer and other locksmiths quoted me around $200-$300 to get it replaced. I called All About Locks & Safes, and Michael was able to set an appointment with me same day. The best part was that his quote was 1/3 of the other quotes I received. Simply amazing customer service! I reached out to Mike to service approximately 350-400 rental units this summer and to be on call for our ongoing lock needs. He happily came to our offices, worked to understand our needs and made many suggestions to streamline our lock and key processes. He was also VERY accommodating to work with us on pricing in a structure that worked for both of our needs. On our very first service call I met him on site. He was prompt, professional and VERY friendly. His service van is incredibly outfitted and even though I kind of threw him a curve ball, he had everything needed on his van to complete the task at hand. The first "emergency" I threw at him via text with a quick follow up call was amazingly simple with an email update within an hour. There is NO doubt in my mind that I have found the perfect locksmith for our company. Call Mike!!! You will NOT be disappointed!! read more
