Very responsive. Clearly busy as it took a while to get the appointment. His communication was good. However. Our issue was an old rolltop desk. He patiently tried 1 million keys and nothing worked. He did not charge us since he was unable to solve the problem, which was great. I went on Amazon and bought two random skeleton keys for $10, and one of them opened it. This is a desk that had been Locked for years and he was actually the second locksmith we tried. I think it's bizarre that a locksmith wouldn't think to just have a couple of skeleton keys handy. Michael was very professional and responsive, showed up on time, worked quickly and only charged me $100 to program and cut two new key fobs for my husband's F150. I would HIGHLY recommend him. I called and left a message Sunday night and he texted me first thing Monday, set up a time and came that day. As another piece of helpful info...I got the key fobs on eBay for $18 (with batteries!) and they worked perfectly (eBay seller was extra-partss). Long story short, a Passlock sensor in my vehicle was acting up and my vehicle would not start. (In my opinion, GM's Passlock system is a very flawed system that should not fail in a closed loop situation, preventing the owner from even starting their own vehicle!) I had a key re-learn procedure that was close but not the exact one for my vehicle. I called All About Locks and spoke with a very friendly, helpful person who immediately knew the proper procedure. I tried it and the vehicle started up. I had to travel out of town a short time after my phone call and the help provided allowed me to reach my destination on time. I appreciate the friendly, honest help provided. I was in a serious time sensitive situation that he could have turned in into a service call - instead, I received the help that was needed to solve my problem on my own and literally at the last minute before I absolutely had to be on the road, my vehicle started and all was good. I do all my own maintenance and repairs on my vehicles and enjoy knowing and learning how things work and I learned something new from this. Now I am going to take measures to permanently bypass the Passlock system on all my GM vehicles so I never get stranded again but for any other issues with locks, this is definitely our go-to place.
