I have been a patient at the beverly location for dry needling, physical therapy for lower back,…read morehip, and feet over the years. Soprts and ortho has some of the best therapists working there I have encountere d for chronic , old injuries. All therapists are very knowledgeable and experienced in the kinetic chain as well as being exceptionally thorough. I highly recommend Lauren for lower back, hip, knee and feet injuries. She is outstanding. I have known many therapists in the past 30 years. She is truly excellent!

I was recommended to this woman owned business from my podiatrist who has a business near the area…read more I decided to try them in November, 2024. I was shocked how large this facility is. I have been to prior physical therapy business where there was only 1 therapist who dealt with you solely and I have also been to other therapy businesses where there are several therapists to choose from to get your therapy. I feel it's only fair to break down this review/rating into categories: Location: 2 stars - convenient Beverly location with ample parking in their private lot. I didn't feel comfortable parking in the lot - although there are tall light posts back there, they don't come on and it's completely dark in the lot. I would try my best to park on the side of the business but it's limited parking over there and they had started construction in that area as well where temporarily you couldn't park in those spaces. Treatment: 4 stars - physical therapists really work hard to help your condition. They thoroughly massage the injured area, give you exercises at the facility and at home. I feel the treatment did help my foot quite a bit. I didn't like the fact that even though I could of had an appointment with my scheduled therapist, if they were still working on someone, another therapist would guide you as to what your therapist notes are to do until your therapist is available. Staff: 2 stars - front desk staff was nice and friendly. The physical therapists were friendly as well which I could appreciate. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism that not all but a few of the therapists had. While I would be getting my massages, certain therapists would be talking negatively about other clients out in the open by either saying their name outright or using first initial, last initial in front of everyone. I was also directly given information from two therapists about patients there (who they liked, who they didn't) and as a client, I shouldn't be told about any of that, it made me uncomfortable. I'm not going to be trusting that when I'm not around that I won't get talked about too and it's a valid concern. Staff needs to have a level or professionalism and be very careful also what's talked about due to HIPAA laws. Privacy: 1 star - The facility is built very well - each station had a table with a surrounding curtain to use for privacy but they were not being used most of the time (I only saw it used once while there). I saw body parts that I shouldn't of seen (e.g. a man's fully bare hairy chest (and he was a big man). These curtains should be used to give the privacy necessary for who is being treated and other clients around. That's what they are there for. Equipment: 5 stars - There is all kinds of equipment there to help you with whatever ailment on your body you have from exercise machines to balls to ultrasound machines for massage/pain therapy. I'm glad this business was able to help me but I do hope the things mentioned can be worked on because they are serious issues that can make or break someone continuing to use this facility.

She's kind of pushy when it comes to setting up dates. I need what works for me not her schedule. If I want twice a week or once a week . My pockets that pays for this service. Cancellation fee $30/$60 for not giving a 24 hour notice is ridiculously considering an emergency that may arise. If appt is on a Monday and Sunday they are closed. Morgan schedules overlap with her next appt considering my first appt was not on time . That is a pet peeve of mine. U want me to come at 4:30 I should be getting straight in. I should not have to arrive 15 min earlier just to sit!! So I'm finding another service. She really irritated me that day! I give her dates and she give me what's available for her. Nah ! It does not work like that with me. If u can't fit my time find someone who can!! On top of the fact if my point of contact is email .. that means do not call my phone about appointments or anything. Do not text me either! Email was my preference . Update . I explained why I had to cancel for today and my missing the previous and she said fees will not apply

I requested to have Danielle as my PT again because she is very nice, professional, flexible, if you need to change dates or times, and most important she gets results. Last year and this year too, I saw a beneficial difference in the way I felt between when I started and when I finished for which I am extremely grateful. Also, I appreciated that they were diligent about keeping everything clean and sanitized between each use. The place has a good vibe, everyone seems pleasant from when you walk in and are greeted by Gina at the front desk, to the therapists and other patrons. I have had physical therapy at other facilities this place I would recommend.

I could not stand/walk without leaning. I thank Connor and John for their expertise/patience to help get me back into my active lifestyle with less pain and walking without leaning. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting from the receptionists to the PT Assistant. The Physical Therapists are highly-trained in helping others gain muscle control, thier knowledge and expertise speaks for itself. The handouts/videos for continuous exercises are very helpful. Thank you again Connor and John for expertise knowledge in wellness and movement. It is very valuable. JoAnn Potts

I thought the next visit went well, too, but the day after, I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep for three days. Added to that, my other hip and one knee were killing me. (The knee was so bad that I went back to the doctor and got a steroid shot. I don't think I should have had to do that.) I wound up cancelling my remaining appointments. The pain didn't go down for six weeks. I hate to say it, but I got a better exercise program from ChapGPT.
