What can I say about such a Wonderful place. I've had the experience and Great pleasure of working…read morehere for about 16 years. The extensive, but very necessary regime to become employed here is, in my opinion, one of the things that makes this establishment soo Special. Not just anything or anyone is accepted. Working with Seniors, who depend on us in so many ways, need trustworthy, loyal employees that also possess upstanding character and ready to assist at a moments notice of any resident that may need help. This is an attribute I have seen displayed at Montgomery Place; from our Staff and all throughout the establishment. During the CoVid 19 Pandemic I've seen our CEO implement and carefully devise a strategic format to keep the Residents and Staff safe. A daily Broadcast Of pertinent information was set in place; from how to correctly wear masks to checking temperatures in and out daily. Our CEO; Deborah Hart has worked long hours, tirelessly with her Team And dedicated Staff daily since this Pandemic began to help in keeping us all, as one unit, safe while displaying some glimpses of familiarity and comforts of life Residents enjoyed and became accustomed to prior to the Pandemic. In my opinion Ms. Hart, with COO; Paul Zappoli and their tireless team, have done an Outstanding Job . In closing; I would like to commend any Senior or loved one of a precious Senior residing in the Hyde Park and or rural areas of Chicago, local and distant; come enquire, virtually or once this Pandemic lets up, in person. We'll be engaging as our Marketing team takes you around and expounds with just a glimpse of what this Great place has to offer. Dawn Thomas, Front Desk Agent

Nurses are extremely efficient and caring. I like how the nurses pay particular attention to make sure medication is being taken by the patient.

This place is awesome!…read more It was founded in 1983 by Sr. Connie and Sr. Therese O'Sullivan to create a safe, healing community where women and their children recover from substance abuse, trauma and mental illness. So the women who live here, in residence with their children enjoy a structured, safe environment that motivates them to achieve sobriety, become gainfully employed and live independently. Yaisa Hagood is the Executive Director and she is a powerhouse of knowledge, good will, and educational know-how that she administers with love and deep affection for the women and children in her care. The sisters that still work with her (Sister Therese and others) form a protective shell that keep their patrons safe while sheltered in one of the most questionable sections of the city.
