They helped me with my back injury with a tremendous amount of knowledge and guidance throughout all of our therapy sessions. I started my therapy in March 2025. My neurologist suggested that needed physical therapy to correct my walking after having surgery for spinal stenosis. I was referred to this location by a family member. I am so glad I chose this location because I was treated with the upmost respect by each person I came in contact with. The therapists I worked with were very professional and patient. They challenged me to stay focus, do not push myself to hard and to believe my condition would improve. I went for RUSH PT and I was very impressed with therapy for sciatica treatment. Connor, John and other therapists put a lot of effort in helping me gain back my mobility on my left side which was very painful when walking or standing. I could not stand/walk without leaning. I thank Connor and John for their expertise/patience to help get me back into my active lifestyle with less pain and walking without leaning. I have been attending the Oak Lawn NovaCare location for both pre & post knee surgery PT for about 5 months now and have had nothing but positive results. Jenna and Hector will work you to the point of not just your limitations but to where you should be at that point in your progression of therapy. They will push you just past your limits so that you do not let yourself fall short on your treatment. The whole staff is friendly and compassionate to your situation but will not let you slack on what you need to do to accomplish your recovery goals. If your having a bad day with pain and will adjust your PT for that day to not aggravate the situation. An overall positive and productive experience. read more

Love this facility and it's staff! A work injury brought me here based on insurance coverage and I am so happy that I ended up here and in the care of such thoughtful and knowledgeable therapists. They are able to target my problem areas and help decrease pain and provide longer lasting comfort. Went their for a evaluation test for a D.O.T. Walked in and Sara greeted me with a smile and asked all the right questions on why I was there and what time was my appointment. The ppwk was ready and completed in a timely fashion. When taking the test she was vary knowledgeable and concerned on how I was doing each test to make sure I do them right and that I am capable of doing them. Well at the end of the test {which I passed with flying colors } she made sure that I understood what we did and that I passed the test . So, I was vary pleased at the professional and knowledge of the staff and will be telling others of my experience here. read more

I have been treated by 3 different PT locations over the last 20+ years of my active life in the Chicagoland area. However, Sarah at NovaCare is hands down the best I have ever worked with. She knows what she is doing and takes the time to make sure that I am making the most of every moment of my recovery. She is great at teaching, guiding and explaining. I will also mention the entire rest of the staff that attends to me as well - Mary Pat, Sarah May, & Bozena - great location all the way around. If you're wondering about if they have Graston tools and Kinesio tape they do. The real bonus though is there work conditioning program, its top notch with the real implementation of job duties. Best place to go for physical therapy in the area! I have been twice before and after my total knee replacement. Jenna and her other team members took such good care of me. Therapy is not easy, but they make it fun and constantly challenge you to do better. I have finished my therapy, but still doing exercises that Jenna, and Hector showed me. The therapists understand the injury and what it takes to get me back to work, they communicate clearly with me what needs to get done and the purpose with results after. I go to Nova Care Rehabilitation center on 95th & Cicero in oak lawn for hand therapy and this pace is well worth it they welcome you with open arms and I love that when you come in the receptionist know you by name. My therapists is Tina Bailey she's one to go to she not only treat you like family but she do what she does Best and that is the healing she is phenomenal with a awesome personality. NovaCare Rehabilitation in Oaklawn, IL. Is one of the best in Illinois!! I have had experience with several other NovaCare's in the city of Chicago and suburbs over the years. NovaCare of Oaklawn is definitely the best of my experiences thus far and I would only choose Oaklawn in the future if necessary. They are very courteous, professional and have only your best interest at heart. You are welcomed by Mary Pat when you first come in she puts you at ease through the paper work and shows you around the facility and introduces you to your therapist. The therapists Sara or Bozena then makes you feel even better by going over your ailments and expectations then explaining to you the course of action to get you back on your feet feeling better than ever.
