Dr. A. Pessaran really engaged his patient's. He had a extraordinary knowledge of off-label use medications that have been on the market for many decades. this served his patients well because generic medications often dont require prior authorization. And as we all know ins ACA likes to refuse most prescribed medications. There are no more doctors like Dr. P available anywhere today. read more

For your safety, do not go to this clinic. Sure, I'm not a doctor but I know something is messed up when I see it. Doctor takes hours to get to you... gives you a lecture about his life. Then leaves before you can get the help you need. Also, always google your doctor. It's public record. He's had many lawsuits against him. I had him for years, it's the doctor my family used. I recently switched to USDAVIS and actually experience what a doctor is supposed to be doing. Personally.. I knew something was wrong with my body. I asked the Dr for 3 years to please send me in so I can have my labs evaluated. He sent me in every time with lab instruction that had nothing to do with my symptoms. Anyways, come time to go to UCDAVIS because I was fed up. I got diagnosed with a plethora of things including an autoimmune disease, which would have been ok but because it wasn't treated for years the numbers were way off! Please please keep looking for a different doctor. read more

HORRIFIC PHYSICIAN!!!! On May 2019 I took my mother in to see Dr. Pessaran for a follow up appointment from back pain from a recent move. The back pain had resolved itself but there was new shoulder pain that we were hoping Dr. Pessaran could help with. After waiting hours after her scheduled appointment time, Dr. Pessaran came into the treatment room and after explaining the new chief complaint of shoulder pain he took one brief look at her arm/shoulder area and decided she had a dislocated right shoulder. This is with no x-rays and no tests to confirm his "findings". I should also mention that my mother is on blood thinners. Even with having so much missing information, Dr. Pessaran assured us that he would put her shoulder back into place and she would feel much better. He also stated on more than one occasion that he "May be disorganized but he has never made a medical mistake". He had my mother lay face down on the exam table as he torqued and manipulated her arm and shoulder for hours. At one point she informed him that the pain was getting worse but he explained to us that it was from all the manipulation and that it would get better. Before we even left the office her right arm started to bruise and when I brought the instant bruising to his attention he just brushed it off and said it was due to the fact that she is on blood thinners. He had made a comment during this visit that if we ever needed anything to contact his office right away. He also said that if we ever contact his office after hours to feel free to contact his personal cell phone and provided his cell phone number. As the days went by following this appointment the pain did not go away but only increased. One week later the pain was unbearable. We called his office to attempt to schedule an emergency appointment for the following morning but the office was closed. My mother left a message to please contact us as soon as possible so she can be seen. I had remembered that he had given us his personal cell phone number to contact him in case of emergency so I sent a text to him explaining who I was and that we desperately needed an appointment. We never received a call back or response via text message. The pain was getting so bad as that evening went on that my mother honestly thought she would die. I knew we couldn't wait so I took her to the Kaiser Permanente Roseville Emergency Room. She was seen right away and immediately tests, scans, x-rays and bloodwork were performed. The emergency room physician that was caring for her that evening asked about what events happened to result this way. After explaining the experience in Dr. Pessaran's Office I was told that based on the information given and the x-rays and scans that came back- he was unsure if her shoulder was EVER even out of the socket. Her blood levels came back at a level 9 which is critically high. Normal range for her blood is between 2.5-3.5 so this means her blood was extremely thin. The emergency room Dr explained that what he believes happened is that the manipulation that was done by Dr. Pessaran actually blew or tore her right bicep and because her blood levels were dangerously high, she was bleeding into her muscle and throughout the rest of her arm. Her right arm was extremely swollen and the bruising was spreading quickly. As the evening progressed and into the next day she lost feeling in her right hand. She was admitted into the hospital to be monitored closely. She was discharged from the hospital days later and still had not heard from Dr. Pessaran or his office regarding our request for an emergency appointment. The hematoma took over 1 month to heal but still to this day, July 10, 2019 she still has no use of her right hand/arm and an excruciating amount of pain. She has incurred medical costs and pain and suffering due to this "doctor" and his negligence. I hope he does not cause this kind of life altering injury to anyone else. read more

I will keep this as short and simple as possible. If you are at all familiar with my reviews then you know that is no easy feat and donating a kidney to a complete stranger is easier for me to pull off.... MISSION: Select my new primary care doc here in Sacto after moving here several months back and having had the same PCP for well over 13+years.... Not looking for perfection but dear god I wasn't expecting what I got at this office... OUTCOME: Ended up firing this doc and his entire office..... RATIONALE: The doc books his patient appointments INCLUDING new patients at 15-20 minute intervals. I'm in healthcare and this is atrocious regardless of his overhead its not my issue however it does become one when your the paying patient with self funded health insurance who waits in the completely full waiting room for close to an hour if not more just waiting to be seen; for a follow up none the less..... Don't feel bad; the other 12+ people who were either ahead or behind me in the waiting process suffered too; I know I sat there and watched..... I directly asked him and his staff about this scheduling 'theory" that I had come up with and they all confirmed that it is the doc himself who insists on doing this.... Wow... that one floored me and unfortunately infuriated me. I was sick as hell when I first saw this MD and would end up seeing him the day after I had an unexpected trip to a local emergency room for said 'surprise!' illness that would later knock me down and out for one solid month. More Issues: They do not return phone calls either at all or if they do within a reasonable time frame. Not just to me as once again I had the pleasure of sitting in his waiting room and watched as time and time again patient and patient family members walked in the office, approached the counter and inquired about their 'paperwork' that they had dropped off weeks and months ago for completion as only an MD can complete them. Only to be replied to by multiple staff members with the same response: "I know Mr/Miss/Mrs/Ms. Such and Such.... The doctor is aware of it and he has your paperwork. We keep telling him to complete it but he doesn't". It all boils down to a lack of communication between ALL staff. I swear on the hair on my beloved hairy beasts that I cherish and adore aka: cats and dogs that I am speaking the truth here.. I know it sounds bizarre but unfortunately its the truth... I too needed some temporary disability paperwork completed by him as this illness that came on me over night and would then prove to need substantial diagnosing and treatment and would make it where I wasn't able to work for a solid month. It took me from start to finish over 2 weeks to get that paperwork done. And it only required less than the sum total of one solid page double spaced of information from him. Finally I ended up after not having my phone calls returned, going into the office and pitched my tent refusing to leave until it was completed. 3 hours later I got it done and swore I would never step foot into this office again and I haven't. It's a shame really... The MD seemed very skilled and competent however its a dangerous way to run a business when you decide to book patients so closely together in order to fulfill a daily quota ie: insurance companies billable as it's impossible to truly examine, diagnose, treat and follow up with the patients....... I have been seeing Dr. Pessaran for 4 years. His staff called me last week and said dr needs to see me regarding my labs. I went to see him today and waited 2 1/2 hr. in the exam room before he got to me. He spent about 15 minutes with me. The last 2 times I had an appointment with him I got frustrated by the wait and walked out and I was never contacted by him or his staff as to why I left. I do not think anyone should have to wait this long, there's too many drs in the Sacramento area. I liked him as a dr but not the wait. read more

Dr. Pessaran takes his time. He is very good about explaining everything to me. He is also very big on natural medicine whenever possible get out in the sun, be active. Very inspirational. I had kaiser before and I loved the simplicity but dr pessaran makes it easy and I don't feel rushed. Look I get the location looks a bit off but his level of care makes up for it. I would recommend him to every one of my friends. read more

First doctor I've ever had that listened to me talk about my own body. Didn't just jot down notes while I explained to him what my concerns were. He actually sent me for a blood panel instead of blindly guessing what my issues were. He is a busy guy but when he is in the room with you, you have his attention. Very knowledgeable about anything you want to bring up. Highly recommend! Even if I lose my insurance or move a couple hours away, I'll still be seen by Dr. Pessaran. read more

If you ever have an appointment with Doctor Alireza Pessaran it is best not to have "anything Anything ELSE" to do for "The REST of your DAY"! We had an appointment on September 23rd 2021@ 2:30pm and he has spent 1 hour and 40 minutes with a patient ahead of us and is STILL with her. Yet they tell my wife that she is only allowed a "Maximum of 15 minutes with the Doctor"! EVERYTHING I had to do today I had to forget ALL about! Then when we come out to Rite Aid the Receptionist has not sent in a "SINGLE ONE" of her "Prescriptions". If I knew the "Proper Agency" I would like to see that office "Closed and Boarded Up" and EVERYONE there "Out of a Job". NOTHING in the "Patients Bill of Rights" pertains to HERE! All I can say is if you have ANYTHING you need to do FORGET it; and, if anybody should refer you to Doctor Pessaran. "WELL"! Just keep looking! "Stars" I wish I could rate him NEGATIVE 5"! read more

Dr. Pessaran is my favorite doctor ever. Not only is he a great doctor, but he is also kind and caring.

The doctor himself is 5 STAR all the way - but the wait can be lengthy (average 15 minutes in the waiting room and 5-10 minutes in the back office) because he takes time with each patient; you see he cares .... So try and get an 8:30 AM appointment if you are a busy busy person who needs to be in and out. Be one of the first there. But I never expect to have fast service when I go to a family doctor's office - it's not like scheduled 'procedures' that all take about the same amount of time (like a mammogram, for example). A family doctor never knows what he or she is walking into when they walk in to see a patient. So first of all, think 'patience' and take a good book to read, or enjoy the magazines. Make the best of it. The staff are all nice, but it is true that they do not call you back and they do seem a bit mixed up when you call them back - They will leave a message to call the doctors office but they never tell you why ... so you have no reference point. I do think the office manager should train her staff or work with her staff on more detailed office management. But back to the Dr. Pessaran. He is fabulous. Common sense, casual,, personal, full of care, helpful and only recommends the very best when making referrals - I loved him. I hated to leave him when I moved. The best primary care doctor I've ever had - old fashioned in the way that he went to medical school to help and listen to people, not just to get rich. read more

DO NOT SEE THIS GUY!!! ZERO Covid precautions in his crappy run down building. No one wore masks, not even patients. Front desk put it on after I walked in but the doctor, medical assistant and filing person were mask free. I didn't see any signs reminding people to wear masks. Zero air circulation in the building either. The medical assistant laughed when I said I wasn't comfortable being seen in a clinic that operates this way. I reminded her that people are DYING, and I know someone who died from COVID. The fact that she thinks it's a joke is sickening. The "doctor" then called me and left a bizarre, totally unprofessional message in which he stated he has had 400 patients with Covid. (Yea, shocker since he has a super spreader office). He bragged about having zero mortalities. Then he said he won "best doctor in America twice, and has 7,000 patients who love him". He accused me of persecuting him before giving him a chance to explain why he does nothing to protect his patients. He doesn't sound mentally stable. If you love yourself and your family, STAY AWAY. He preys on people he thinks won't report him. Last, I called three times to ask them to destroy my intake paperwork that I completed before I walked out. No call back. It's disgusting that people in the "helping" field behave this way. I hope the nice admin assistant gets a job that protects her. No one deserves to work in that unless you are someone who thinks people dying is funny. read more

Dr. Pessaran is by far the BEST doctor in Sacramento. I've been his patient for almost four years and I will never go to anyone else. He makes time for me no matter how busy he is, he is purely concerned for my pain, and is doing everything in his power to make me feel better. I've been through a lot of medical issues but Doc has been a true "family" doctor to me. His professionality his genuine care his knowledge everything about him makes me believe in medicine like it should be. Not a business but a profession of healing people. For last three weeks I called this office 8 times and talked to staff, left message 2 times and text Dr. Pessaran twice. I was trying to get the prescription refills for my parents which because of Covid can not go to the office for visit. My mom is on these blood pressure medications for long time and it is working for her. I offer them to do video call with my parents and do the appointment that way but they refuse to do that. I even asked them to make appointment for me (which I will pay for visit) to go to the office and talk to the doctor and I was told , they can not do that either. Every time, I was told they will talk to Dr. Pessaran and will call me back with answer but they never did. They were hopping for me to just go away. I was looking for straight answer from them one way or another. They are not professional and do not know how to treat their patients. Not to forget, my pharmacy send them the request for refill twice too, and they even did not respond to pharmacy. Finally after I asked for straight answer, Staff told me doctor can not give the prescription (which maybe is his right). Basically my mom with high blood pressure does not have her medications and Dr. Pessaran does not care and do not want to refill them. read more

I moved into the area and needed a prescription renewed. Dr. Pessaran said the old prescription (which I had gotten from a physician's assistant) was too weak to be of use. He gave me a new prescription for one drug that covered two old prescriptions. There was a question on dosage. He gave me a supply of minimum doses and said to find what works for me. I like that approach. I experimented, kept records, and found the best dosage. I like that he was willing to talk to me in technical terms, and explained what the various tests were trying to get at. BTW, the new prescription is working out better than the old ones. read more

This place is a circus. Good entertainment, but tickets are a bit pricey. Gave it 2 stars by accident. Delete stars!!! Delete stars!!! Office staff lie brazenly. No, they did not call in your prescription...or your physician's preauthorization. They just say they did. If you need medicine, prepare to beg. At least they lie with a smile. As for Dr. Pessaran himself...well...he seems like a very sweet man. Just don't be alarmed if he starts making wild guesses about what's wrong with you. Back pain? Probably cancer. Blood pressure dropped a bit? Heart failure. The good news is, he will be particularly happy to see you at your next visit. "Wow!! I certainly wasn't expecting to see YOU alive again." Highly recommended for adrenaline junkies with money to burn. read more

The doctor -very knowledgeable went for a while but didnt really come up with a solution. Kept ordering tests and had me take some vitamins. I got fed up with the 2-3 hour wait for a 20 min appt. the staff worker girls are ridicules. He needs a good manager here and the place would run flawless. The girls overbook him and overlap every appointment. They dont handle financial well at all. Keep track of all your bills and paid. I kept getting billed for stuff i paid months ago so i called and told her and she said no balance on your account i told her than get your crap together and stop sending me bills and she hung up. Ok, this isn't a simple yes/no review. For you to make the right choice for your healthcare needs, you have to know what you are going to get into before going here. There's a real mixed bag. I have been to the Dr at times when he has been brilliant and helped me with things other doctors missed. But there are problems with how the practice is run that impact the quality of care you will get. First pluses: Dr. Pessaran is smart and quick. He doesn't miss things other drs do, and will take the time to genuinely listen to you. He is careful about prescribing meds, telling you why he doesn't like some, why they may not be a good fit for you, or what the side effects you should look for are. You will not get prescriptions tossed at you willy-nilly from him like some doctors. He explains things to you, and does not talk down to you. There's a thing called "good bedside manner", he has it and it makes a difference. He will talk to you about nutrients and your diet. He is willing to try a wide variety of available treatments, frequently discussing options with you during visits. He has a no nonsense attitude which I like, and doesn't avoid uncomfortable health topics. Overall, when you are his patient he looks at you as a whole, not a series of broken things to fix. This leads to him being one of the best drs I have been to in the Sacramento area. That being said, I wish I could pick him up and put him in a better run practice. The minuses: because he takes time with patients, your wait time to see him could be +2 hrs. Now this could be handled with proper scheduling, but his office will double book him for the same time slots. *Every* time I have been in there, there's been another patient with the same appt time as me. Also - as much as he is willing to consider different treatments, if it requires extra paperwork for your insurance, it's not going to happen. You have to be willing to forgo X treatment for Y because someone didn't feel like filing out a form and faxing it in. That's what happened to me. Sadly, the staff turnover is horrible. I have never seen the same person working the front desk on any of my appointments in the last 3 years. While the staff who take you to the exam room and take your temp and BP are invariably professional, friendly and thorough, the people who sit up front answering phones and checking in patients seem to be completely untrained. Twice, I have been on hold with the office for an excess of 15 minutes, after which I simply hung up. If they call you and leave you a message, they won't say why. And I do mean "if", general best practices for the telephone seem to be in short supply amongst the rotating front staff. There also doesn't seem to be good communication between the Dr and staff. He will have one plan for you, and when you call back to the office, they change it without consulting him. You cannot get questions answered over the phone like you can with other drs. Be prepared for a series of unnecessary follow up visits (this from someone who worked in the healthcare field and understands the importance of follow ups). It's been my experience that rather than make a note to file, or write down a question for the Dr and call you back, it's easier to just schedule a follow up. Thus we have the feed back loop into the unbelievable wait times. I can't say go here/don't go here. It's not that simple. You have to look at what your needs are and what you can tolerate. If you have something complicated, other drs haven't seemed to care, and you need a Dr who will listen and think through a difficult situation for you, definitely give Dr Pessaran a shot. If general office inefficiencies are dealbreakers for you, think twice. read more

Dr. Pessaran is a very caring and attending doctor, and a great human being. He truly listened to me as a patient and went out of his way to make me feel welcomed and cared for. There may be a wait sometimes (had to wait 10 min extra once), but I can't tell you when I didn't have to wait for a doctor's visit. I would say that his wait was not greater than other physicians I've gone to, and that was only once that I had to wait. Honestly, somethings are worth the wait. He's a great physician and you want someone who truly cares about you as a patient as opposed to someone who's just trying to get through the day and patient load. Doctor Pessaran is a nice guy and will listen to you, but that's the only positive. I would have to keep calling for them to send out referrals they would forget about. Had to keep calling back about disability. Sent me to a specialist that I saw once then would never contact me again. Even after calling multiple times and getting multiple test done. Never hearing about the results that could be serious. In all, do not go to this office. My husband and I recently moved to Sacramento and were looking for a primary care doctor. I haven't had a medical checkup in some time. After reading the reviews we decided to try Dr. Pessaran. I was surprised that considering I was asking for a physical, he didn't lay a finger on me. Instead, he gave me a nonstop, 45-minute lecture on the standard views of good nutrition. I'm healthy (as far as I know), I look healthy, I don't look malnourished. I've been doing my best to practice good nutrition for decades. Thus, I don't need to be told that Vitamin C is water soluble or that sometimes stores put organic labels on produce that's been grown with insecticides, and many other things he insisted on telling me. Dr. Pessaran was extremely hyper. I repeatedly tried to tell him I already know what he was telling me about nutrition and to move on to my physical. He just barrelled on and on and on, running over me every time I tried to explain any concerns I had or past health problems. He misinterpreted most of what I said, gave *me* a rapid-fire case summary of a (mostly) past medical problem instead of letting me explain it (and he was incorrect as to its history), kept insisting that one minor problem that is under control with dietary measures was an entirely different problem and telling me he'd treat it with antibiotics. He ordered a common test for another problem (which as far as I know I don't have, but doctors usually test for it in physicals). That particular test *will* give me a false positive (it has before). He should have known that from my chart/the questionnaire I filled out, and there are several other tests for it he could have ordered instead. After his office staff repeatedly alerted him to the next patient, I finally got out of there. I was thankful I did not try him out when I had an actual medical problem, because who knows what I'd have been treated for. It's not just that Dr. Pessaran talked a lot--he didn't listen to *anything*, no matter how hard I tried. As previous reviews mention he takes his time, but he wasted 45 minutes of my mine. I just threw out his list of tests and am looking for another doctor. read more

Dr. Pessaran is the best doctor anyone can ask for. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. I have read all his reviews and decided to make an appointment with his office. He fully deserves all the 5 star reviews since he cares about his patients and goes above and beyond his way to provide the necessary support and care. He is certainly my first choice for primary care. read more

Doctor is very personable and we love him. That said, we have had nothing but problems with his staff since day one. Whether it be a prescription authorization or a doctors referral. One problem after another. It is not his whole staff, just seems to be two individuals who cant seem to keep their heads on straight. I keep notes of everything and today I was outright lied to about a date something was sent to another Doctor for a referral. Again the Doctor is amazing and gives very personal service and is very thorough. Too bad his staff is also a reflection of him. As soon as we find a replacement, sad we will be moving on. read more

The front office staff is completely unprofessional. I have been to this office twice now, and will not be returning! The few times I have called the office I am immediately put on hold, and forgotten about. I once sat on hold for 15 minutes until I became fed up, hung up and called right back- refused to be put on hold and was assisted right away. Wait times are ridiculous- after waiting in the front waiting room for 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I sat in the exam room for an hour before seeing Dr Pessaran. The assistant left the door open and for an hour I sat, and listened to the office staff carry on their conversations about what to have for lunch, personal problems, telling jokes etc. only to stop to answer the phone, put someone on hold and then carry on the conversation. (No wonder I always get put on hold!!) When checking out, I requested a print out of my billing statement from my visit a month prior. One girl didn't know how to print it, another girl said it wasn't ready (although ins has already been billed). After a lot of waiting, and confusion.....someone (Elissa- of something like that) comes from the back, flips a piece of paper in front of my face and says "Here, if you want it". I then asked this same person questions about what would be billed for today's visit, she then proceeded with "Well we did such and such today and they will send you a printout of when we do the billing which takes 2-3 weeks" okay fine. I asked some more questions about billing and my statement while standing at the front counter in the waiting room area, then she says "annd he's probably going to diagnose you with this, because we did this today. And he'll diagnose you with this because he's prescribing this medication" I had to interrupt her- that is not what I asked! Pretty sure you shouldn't be telling anyone what the doctor will "probably" diagnose. And to disclose my private medical information to a waiting room full of people is a HIPAA Violation, not to mention completely unprofessional. read more

Dr Pessaran is truly an outstanding physician. He takes the time to listen to you about the reason for your visit, carefully examines you, and then explains his diagnosis and proposed treatment. Pessaran treats you like a person, not just someone to deal with as quickly as possible and then move on to the next case. He is up on the latest medical information and treatments. If he refers you to a specialist, he knows their skills and capabilities. His staff is equally professional and concerned about you. When I call for an appointment, even something routine like getting a prescription for a refill of medicine, they get you in as soon as possible. Usually the next day, or even sooner. read more

During my first visit with Dr. Pessaran we discussed a sore throat I'd had for over a year. I'd seen other doctors for the problem; each had a different diagnosis and none of the medications I received worked. After my first visit I was impressed with Dr. Pessaran and his staff. They all were so friendly and polite and Dr. Pessaran appeared to be the sort that wouldn't waste any time ascertaining the cause of my sore throat. After a few visits I begin to feel that Dr. Pessaran was a bit radical and some of his advise concerned me but I followed his instructions. I had some minor difficulties with his staff but through it all, they remained friendly, cheerful and polite. The problems began when I needed a prescription refilled. A previous doctor prescribed the medication for me but I didn't think there would be a problem getting Dr. Pessaran to refill it since we'd discussed literally all my medications during my first visit. Several days after I requested the refill, I called the office to find out what the hold-up was. I was assured that it would be renewed. I waited a few more days and called again. I was told that they wouldn't fax the prescription to my pharmacy and that I needed to go into the office to pick it up. I did and as the receptionist was looking for the prescription she mentioned that Dr. Pesseran indicated I was not to be charged for an office visit. I asked why in heaven's name I'd be charged for an office visit when I didn't see the doctor but the receptionist pretended she didn't hear me and I let it go. The next problem came when I decided to change the provider for my diabetic testing supplies. I called the office and asked who they recommended and after much discussion and confusion, I was told to just go to a well-known drug store and purchase them. I told them I didn't think I could get them that way but I was assured I could. I called the pharmacy they recommended and several online providers and each told me I needed a prescription. I called the doctor's office back and I was told that they'd get the doctor to write one for me. Again, I waited several days and each time I called I was told something different. After two weeks, I was frustrated and frantic because I was almost out of supplies. I called the doctor's office again and let them know that I was at the end of my rope and that's when I was told that the doctor was no longer my PCP....just like that...boom! No advance warning. Evidently Dr. Pessaran made the decision to not renew his contract with my insurance company so, as of January 1, 2014, he was not my doctor! The girl said I should have received a letter and I assured her I had not. After we hung up, I realized that I last saw Dr. Pessaran in late December and he mentioned nothing about not accepting my insurance any longer. He also didn't mention it two weeks later when I asked him to refill the other prescription. I was in complete shock and worried sick! After a year of seeing doctors who ran no tests...they just guessed what was wrong with my throat....I thought I'd found one who was finally getting the job done! He referred me to an ENT doctor who ordered a CT Scan and Barium Swallow...I hadn't been told what the results were and then I found out that right in the middle of my treatment, Dr. Pessaran was not my doctor! I need several of my medications refilled...I called them back and asked if Dr. Pessaran would renew them since it would take me a while to find a new doctor and after an entirely unacceptable amount of miscommunication and empty promises, I was told he would not. The next day I called the office again and asked that them to mail me the results of the blood tests Dr. Pessaran had done after my first visit as I didn't want to have to have the same tests repeated when and if I ever find a new doctor. I was told they'd be mailed out that day. When I hadn't received them in five days, I called again and was told that they weren't mailed out and I couldn't get copies until I had a new doctor. I was livid and I researched my rights under the Federal law called HIPAA...by law, a patient is entitled to personally receive copies of everything in their medical file. I'd also like to mention that Dr. Pessaran ordered one x-ray of my throat and insisted that I need surgery on my sinuses. I read the results of the x-ray and it clearly indicated POSSIBLE sinusitis. Thank goodness the ENT doctor agreed that surgery was not indicated since we didn't even have a positive diagnosis! In all my 68 years, I've never had more trouble with a doctor or his staff. They're all very pleasant people but getting them to do their jobs seems to be Mission Impossible. Every single time I talked to one of the staff, I was told the complete opposite of what the previous staff member told me. Really bad Customer Service! read more

Dr. Pessaran is the best ever. I have been dealing with fibromyalgia for 20+ years. He is the only one that has helped me. He gets in there and gets the job done with a great sense of humor. I will be needing to change doctors and hating every thought of it. I would stay with him until the day I die if possible. There may be a wait to see him but bring a good book and the wait will be worth it. Not only does he care he know what he is doing. He listens to you and doesn't give up on you. I have been out sourced to many doctors and Pessaran is the only one who not only stayed with me but helped me. Anyone with firbomyalgia knows how one doctor will pawn you off to another, not him. He has helped me with other issues also. Love that man., read more

The staff is great . They make you feel comfortable while waiting for the Dr. Dr P is very knowledgeable when it comes to medical issues

He is a wonderful doctor but his office staff is something to be determined. To get prescription refilled the excuse is the pharmacy never faxed it or we didn't receive it. Referrals forget it you will get better before you get a referral. Like I said the doctor is wonderful and caring. read more
