I had an online urgent care visit with Julie Baur on October 7 for peeling and itchy skin. Over the…read morenext three days, she prescribed three different ointments, none of which were filled because my insurance required prior authorization. Instead of completing the insurance approval form, she kept sending new prescriptions that also required approval. To make the process easier, I contacted my insurance myself. Their agent completed the request form and provided me with the submission link and key code, instructing that the provider mark it as urgent so it could be processed within 48-72 hours rather than five days. I passed all of this information along, but Julie replied that she would forward it to my PCP instead of completing the process herself. Since then, I've heard nothing, received no medication, and my symptoms persist. To make matters worse, she removed herself from my care team, so I can no longer message her. She later even accidentally sent me a message meant for another patient, advising me to take melatonin for insomnia -- which I don't have. I sought urgent care hoping for immediate help, but instead I've been left waiting, uncomfortable, and frustrated. This experience has been disappointing, disorganized, and far from "urgent."

And then we get a call from the pharmacy that she prescribed a very strong seizure medication that LITERALLY has more than 20 COMMON SIDE EFFECTS that were exremely concerning without having any conversation at all with us about this medication. She should have her license revoked or at the very least suspended!!!!!!

I realized she is given 10 minutes for the appointment, and the last five minutes she was always standing at the door with her hand on the doorknob. So, although I stand by my statement that she comes across as friendly, the limitation placed on her to HURRY UP and make me schedule yet another appointment (Sutter gets paid PER appointment) made me realize this whole repeated exercise was silly, and that none of my health concerns were being addressed. I am sad and very disappointed. Health care doesn't involve any care anymore.

Dr. Bhukhen is a rare genius. A friend of mine referred me to her when I was looking for a new GP…read moreafter I changed insurances. I knew something bizarre was wrong with me. On our very first meeting, Dr. Bhukhen listened to my odd concerns in a very serious way. She carefully considered my symptoms in comparison to my medical hx. She ordered imaging that day. Within a week she found (what looked to be a) rare endocrine tumor growing happily within my right adrenal gland. This was after 5-10 years of physicians dismissing my odd cluster of symptoms as untreatable or as coincidences. After the initial (still unconfirmed) diagnosis, I could not get into see an endocrinologist for another 3 months. My insurance allowed me to be seen at Stanford. A few weeks later, I had the tumor removed by Dr. Electron Kebebew, Stanford's Head of Endocrine Surgery. By the time I was rolled into the recovery room ~ all symptoms gone! Dr. Bhukhen's initial diagnosis was confirmed. This, took place only a few months after she courageously sent me for imaging immediately following our very first appointment together. You need to select the location when there are more than 24 of them. Totally nerve racking. BAD system. Talked with 3 agents and they didn't know how can I retrieve my medical records; but also imaging has to be requested at each office AND write the name of the provider; Med records office close at 5PM so you can't speak after that I have tried this system for one hr. At the end they asked to Upload your ID, so WHY you have a robot system when you see humans? Hire more people to do this

She spent a great deal of time reviewing all my blood work and tests from over 7 years to facilitate in determining a cause. After she ordered a specific blood test for me she referred me to a specialist, and together they figured out what was causing my pain. Initially it was a bit difficult to establish care with her, she is highly sought after! I ended up seeing both the PA and NP in her office before finally getting to see and establish care with Dr. Dhanda herself. Both the NP and PA were very nice, friendly and attentive I just knew I ultimately wanted Dr. Dhanda. The wait was worth it, she is so nice, actually listens to my concerns and is easy to work with. I really appreciate her getting to know me, my lifestyle and concerns instead of just treating me like another number/treating me based off of only lab values.
