It was a two way street during this appointment, versus him talking at me and assuming he knew what was wrong. I wouldn't say I am a full-time hypochondriac (maybe part-time?) but we ended the appointment with lab slips galore just to rule things out. I appreciate the better-safe-than-sorry approach. I know you do too. The staff there (in particular "Beth") was wonderful. Very sweet, efficient and scheduled an appointment with a lab while I was standing there! I am used to them handing me the lab slip and then having to personally call when I get the chance ...always winding up on hold for way longer than I care to be, but I digress. Dr Chinthakindi's nurse was great too. Is Chinthakindi a tongue twister? Fear no more, he also goes by Dr Ravi to his patients and staff. Hooray for thorough, attentive and friendly doctors!

Update2: After taking my mom to the clinic, I figured it was time to book an appointment for…read moremyself. I ended up running late this morning, so I called ahead to let them know. I was expecting the usual--maybe having to reschedule or feeling like a burden for being late. But instead, they were so understanding. They didn't make me feel bad about it, didn't brush me off. They just asked, "When do you think you can get here?" As someone who has worked in a clinic before, I know how much late appointments can throw off the whole day. And trust me, I don't take that lightly. But the fact that they listened when I explained that I had to take care of my parents in the morning--it really meant a lot. It was just nice to not feel anxious about it for once. That said, don't take this as an excuse to be late to your own appointments! Clinics are busy places, and being late can slow things down for everyone. When I finally got to my appointment, I met with Dr. Kahlon, and I honestly had such a great experience. The moment I walked in, she remembered me from when I had brought my mom in, and that small moment of recognition just made me feel at ease. She was kind, she listened, and she made sure to actually hear what I was saying. There was no judgment, no rush--just an open, comfortable conversation. She explained everything to me so well, from my treatment plan to prior authorization, and it was clear she really knew what she was talking about. More than anything, she made me feel like I was in good hands. As soon as I left, I told my sister to go to this clinic too. As a South Asian immigrant, finding a place where you feel comfortable--where you don't have to struggle with language barriers or feel out of place--isn't always easy. But this clinic? It's one of those rare places where you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. I've been treated with nothing but kindness and hospitality here, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for a place where the doctors and staff actually care, this is it.====================================================== I brought my mom to this clinic today after calling ahead to confirm they accept Medi-Cal. From the moment we walked in, I was incredibly impressed. The clinic is brand new, beautifully maintained, and offers both urgent and primary care services. What truly moved me was the clinic's dedication to equitable healthcare. As I browsed through their pamphlets, I learned that they are committed to serving underserved communities and making healthcare more accessible. They even offer affordable monthly plans for those without insurance, covering a wide range of preventive screenings for under $100 a month--something you rarely see in today's healthcare system. The kindness and compassion of the staff were beyond anything I expected. A case manager offered us water and even attempted to communicate in Urdu with my mom, which meant so much to us. Language barriers often deter South Asian and Middle Eastern communities from seeking care, so their effort to bridge that gap was incredibly reassuring. While in the lobby, I also witnessed a patient who didn't have her insurance card, and the receptionist informed her she could still be seen at no cost today. That level of care and understanding is rare, and it speaks volumes about their mission to put patients first. In a healthcare system that is often difficult to navigate and financially burdensome, this clinic is truly making a difference. Their commitment to affordable, hassle-free, and patient-centric care is something every community needs. I am beyond grateful for their service and highly recommend them to anyone in need of compassionate, accessible healthcare.

I had a very concerning experience with this office…read more I was seen as a new patient on February 17, 2026 and had an in office ultrasound for a lump in my throat. I was told results would take 2 to 3 days, but it took about a week to receive anything despite multiple follow ups. When I finally received a response, the office emailed me another patient's full medical file by mistake. This is a serious breach of privacy and HIPAA violation. When I called to address this, I was told by a staff member named Natalie that she had been communicating with me through the patient portal using another employee's name and account (Alondra Garcia). This raised additional concerns about how patient communication is being handled. I was then sent my actual ultrasound results, which had not been reviewed by a provider. The staff member on the phone was not able to explain the results and instead suggested that if something was wrong, someone would have told them. The lack of timely communication, improper handling of patient information, and absence of clinical oversight made this a very stressful experience. I would strongly recommend improvements in patient privacy practices and communication procedures.
