We had a recent miscommunication during our daughter's appointment. Their incompetent front desk said they had trouble pulling up our insurance even though they accepted it. I stayed at the clinic to try get a hold of insurance for them but spent almost thirty minutes on the phone with no success They said I was taking too long even though this insurance issue should've been dealt with on their end before we came to our appointment. We drive out 40 minutes just to see this doctor for personal reasons. They tried turning us away and we said we can pay cash. They said it was illegal for them to take cash because we initially told them we have insurance. Long story short, we were frustrated and left the clinic. We tried calling back to get my daughter seen. They responded by saying they were no longer taking new patients. We called a few times more and kept getting the same answer. The last time we called, the receptionist said there was an issue with our insurance. I called our insurance and they said we were black listed from their clinic and cannot call back. I just wished they told us up front and discussed about what happened instead of lying and giving us the runaround. They're not organized and they might not tell you the truth. Don't come here.

The bed side manners of the staff and doctors is top notch, they really truly care about the wellbeing of the patients. I love that it's catered to kids so it makes it so much easier to take them into the doctors and make them feel comfortable. We've come in for colds and flus and also for a possible wrist break. All three doctors went above and beyond to make my kiddos feel safe and cared for. Huge plus that they have an xray machine at the location! Will always recommend rainbow kids.

Would have been 5 stars if they had better billing practices. No imaging... it was like a 5 minute office visit literally in and out. They're in-network and charged my insurance over $600 for it, yikes. We paid our copay in office. Then we got a bill for $200 in the mail? With absolutely zero explanation of what the charge was for. How much are they trying to make off this? We usually use MDSTAT in EDH and they've never sent us an extra bill. Anyway, I figured it was a mistake and waited for them to clear it up with insurance. They sent it straight to collections like 2 months later. When I tried to call their billing office, no answer, I left a voice mail and they never got back to me. I just paid it to get it over with but 100% will never go back here. I've never had a medical or dental office send a bill to collections, ever, let alone so fast without trying to clear it up with me first. And truly can't believe they charged that much for such a simple procedure. I still don't know what the $200 charge was for considering they're in network and we paid our copay. Oh well, we'll stick with MDSTAT.

It got so bad we started to take our kids to urgent care because they became less flexible with tests the kids needed to return to school (covid, rsv, etc.). Regardless of if the schools continued to require these tests for return, parents want to know what their children have not an assumption! They rarely ever ordered labs if you needed them, it was always a fight. Same, if you needed a referral such as ears, throat and nose. My daughter had ear infections every month and they did not take the extra care to find out what the issue was without us pushing HARD. They seemed more concerned about follow-up visits and annual check-ups per their policy which makes you feel uncared for personally and that they only care about collecting the co-payment. No advice or prescriptions would ever be allowed over the phone like Kaiser. During Sept 2025 my husband unfortunately decided to take his own life. I know TMI. So, rightfully so, we missed my oldest son's annual check-up around the same time. I called in January to get it re-scheduled and let them know we had an insurance changed. Lisa informed me both of my children are no longer patients (my daughters annual appt had not even came up yet and she stated it had be both of them so since 1 did not show up they cancelled both as patients). I shared with her privately what happened. She said she was sorry for our loss and would get back to me if we can re-establish the kids being patients because of the situation. 3 1/2 weeks later no call back. I called back and Lisa picked up. I told her who I was and let her know I never heard back. She said I do not think we can re-establish them as patients and you will need to find care somewhere else. I replied "Well, thanks for the call back" (not). The customer service is horrible and the other ladies in the front office are very rude and do not take the time to explain anything if you have any questions. It is the point where I dealt with this for years and was looking for an easy answer for my kids needs as I get through this loss but apparently that could not happen. HOW SAD AND COLD-HEARTED. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY FOR YOUR CHILDREN. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY.

I am incredibly disappointed by his staff in the past two months. I have spent 6+ weeks trying to get a referral to a specialist for my child, and whomever does the referrals has repeatedly referred my child to the wrong type of doctor, one of which only sees ADULTS, and both of which do not provide the specific service we need. When I call in to the office and ask to speak with this person, I am always told I will get a call back and never do. This level of service is unacceptable. My child continues to go without the help we need because of the lack of care by this individual.
