As if 1700 was nothing . In regards to my BA i came in with CC and he offered to help since i was originally going to go with a surgeon that's specializes in CC and he made it seem like a quick fix . Instead of making changes to prevent CC as other surgeons suggested he used same site , no specific after care , and ultimately i developed a CC almost immediately. he didn't try any other options to at least prevent cc . Yes CC cannot sometimes be avoided , it's your bodies reaction to a foreign object and each individual scars differently. But why repeat the same process again ?!? and why shy away when there is a process to CC removal and to help your patients get a satisfactory end result. Revision for my BA a complete mess . He knew how to put in the implants but he doesnt seem confident when addressing complications and even the ones he created . When i was developing a CC in my right breast the inflammation was making it hard to my right breast incision to heal and dr franco and his staff gave me wound healing instructions contrary to what I needed . Instead I had to go to wound care and ring up a $9000 wound care bill . Instead of taking out the implant he just closed me right back up leaving a horrible scar and now i have a CC in my right breast Now i have one CC breast and one that he revised leaving with severe ptosis and looks completely different from my other breast . Cant wear a bathing suit top can't go bra less . These new Preservaion aka over the muscle implants preservation is just a fancy word . pros and cons . One of the biggest cons is your at higher risk for CC and hard to read Mammo . and that's fine and all because there are risks with the under the muscle too but my point is Get a surgeon who will follow you through, not only when it's easy . And one that will take ownership of there mistakes . Dr franco would forget what he would tell me. Change it up last minute. Gets irritated if you ask too many questions , does not take ownership of his mistakes and will tell you everything looks Great!!! when it actually doesn't If anyone would like photos for reference , I don't mind sharing . Would hate for someone to go through what i'm experiencing. Aesthetically and financially a waste. Dr. Ganta happens to be one of the few surgeons in the country (and maybe one of two in Texas?) who can do the BPD-DS procedure. I had originally selected the bypass, but later determined that for my particular situation (not everyones) the other procedure was a better choice, and it was by luck that I had chose the only surgeon in the area capable of performing it. Dr. Ganta is quite clearly a highly-skilled surgeon, and I would imagine one of the best in the field of bariatrics. I've had absolutely no complications after the procedure, and I'm down 147 pounds, losing about 10 per month (recently, though I lost more rapidly earlier). I walked into this office for the first time with a BMI of 46, and currently have a BMI of ~24! The staff has always been great, both pre and post-op. I had great success on the pre-op (insurance mandated) six-month diet due to the outstanding nutritionist they have on staff. Her education and guidance has certainly helped me to be successful after surgery as well. The insurance billing office is very prompt and communicative, and my insurance approved the procedure promptly. This is absolutely one of the most important decisions I've ever made in my life, and I'm thrilled I chose this office and Dr. Ganta to help me get my life back! I hadn't seen my refund yet, so on Jan 02, 2026 I called again and spoke with Michelle the office manager whom stated yes they were cancelled and your refund should be issued 7 business days. I arrived to my appoint on 1/7/26 and my injector had the syringes for two of the products, when one was suppose to have been cancelled yet another flag. In the room I was in the medical boards physician license was hanging on the wall but with an expiration of Nov 2025 another red flag. finally yesterday I went for a follow up and the whole conversation was just sad, unprofessional.
