Alim's is not anything special, but has the usual range of magazines, from top to bottom shelf content, bits and pieces of things that you might have wanted but didn't realise, a limited range of food for when you've forgotten top plan dinner and plenty of sweets. Of course, the real reason to use Alim's is to buy cigarettes and I notice that they do not overprice them: the price range along the road veers from bargain to ripoff, and Alim's is fair, usually staying below the £6 mark.
It isn't extensive in its opening hours, and that might account for the good price: it is the places with late opening that seem to add a little tax on their products. read more
