Vineyard View with Fireplace (second floor)

My wife and I visited over the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Note: We did book our stay using Hyatt points. Upon arrival, the concierge was helpful in taking our bags and parking the car (complimentary valet). Valet parking is not covered, so your car will be sitting in the sun in the summer. We had a smooth check in but were about 2 hours early from the original check in time. Luckily, they said the room should be ready within an hour and we were able to relax at the Salvia Bar in the meantime. The property itself is on the smaller side, but I do believe you're paying more for the room and location. There is a Tesla charger on property. They also have a first come first serve shuttle that takes you anywhere within a 6 mile radius, which was especially helpful for nearby wineries. We did not get to utilize the spa or the pool, but the gym was a decent size with a few treadmills, free weights, and a workout room where yoga and other classes are held. There are also extra towels and water bottles in the gym that you can grab. Breakfast at the Violetto was good (chilaquiles and breakfast bowl). We did not eat dinner on property but did get snacks and drinks from the Salvia Bar, which were tasty. The room (two queen vineyard view with fireplace) itself was very clean upon check in. Room service also left us a complimentary champagne bottle after check in for our anniversary. The Le Labo toiletries were a nice touch, along with the Toto toilet and touch light switches. AC worked perfectly as well. It was a bit too hot to utilize the fireplace, but the view of the vineyard was pretty. All in all, a great room with nice amenities. The property is on the smaller side so I'd probably suggest it more as a place to enjoy your room and venture out for more experiences. The shuttle makes this very convenient and is a lot cleaner than an Uber.

This is one of our all time favorite hotels we have ever been to. We stay here every time we come to Napa and it is 100% worth it. Your room balcony is essentially on the Beringer vineyards and the views are stunning. The hotel room is modern, clean and beautiful. If you can stay here while on your trip to Napa, it won't disappoint.

Amazing start to finish ! Beautiful unreal property and nicest staff, comfiest beds. Will 100% be rebooking

Great amenities, high end service, and beautiful grapevines to view from the balcony. Pool is well maintained, fitness studio has machines, equipment, and fitness classes. Every staff members I spoke with was accommodating and kind. Didn't have a chance to check out the spa but it is on site. Complimentary valet, overall a great stay and experience. Thank you !

Fantastic stay at the Alila. From the luxe room with tub and fire pit on the balcony to the relaxing spa and yummy restaurant, Violeta (was Acacia House), the Alila checked off all the boxes for an unforgettable Napa stay. The staff was simply wonderful to top it off. However, the attention to detail and luxe touches will set you back 1k a night (stayed in June). Tips: Valet parking only but it's free and they'll charge your EV for you. Also, Visit the beautiful Beringer Vineyard next door for easy walkable tasting or just relax on their beautiful grounds.

Really gorgeous property in St. Helena Rooms very clean, bright, cozy and we had an outdoor patio with a fire pit. Classy place and the rooms and bedding were perfect. Exterior rooms -meaning your door opens to the outside and it's a beautiful property right next to the Beringer Estate. Rooms were very relaxing and you can walk to the vineyard next door!

I was excited to come here but also hesitant after a not so great stay at Andaz Maui a couple weeks ago. When we arrived to our first winery someone called me from the hotel asking if I'd like an upgrade because they had one ready for me... uhh yeah! Got to the hotel around 2-3pm and everyone was so nice. Our valet guy took our bags up and even showed us how to use the fireplace and all the important buttons. He really paid attention to detail because we said we were going to dinner and asked what time. We told him and when we got outside a few hours later, we didn't even have to wait for our car! Someone the first night came for turndown service and brought brownies. So cool! She was also really nice and told us her favorite things about the property. I really liked this place and definitely want to stay here again.

Here's a grateful toast to a lovely springtime stay at Alila Napa Valley! SERVICE (5/5) While I usually start hotel reviews with a property overview, Alila Napa Valley's service rocked so hard that I felt compelled to mention this part of the experience first! + **HUGE THANK YOU** to front office manager Maya! When we faced an unexpected issue, rather than having to sorrowfully cancel as anticipated, Maya went above and beyond to accommodate our stay while maintaining Alila's usual excellent standards for all guests. She even thoughtfully upgraded us to an ADA Vineyard View corner room, which required some ninja room tetris on her part. + Being greeted after a long drive by a friendly valet team as well as wine and fruit-infused water in the cozy check-in room next to Acacia House was so nice! We also appreciated the chilled bottle of Louis Pommery sparkling wine and 1/2 bottle of Markham wine that were waiting in our room. These extra touches made for a festive start to our special occasion celebration. + Thank you to Maricela, who proactively offered wonderful local dining recommendations and even wrote them down for us. Model Bakery's English muffins are as delicious as Maricela (and Oprah) noted! + Resort fee, waived for point stays, included helpful amenities such as valet parking, coffee/tea station, bottled water, 1/2 bottle of wine, $25 mini bar credit (handy for snacks!), and TREK bikes. PROPERTY (5/5) Nestled in St. Helena next to Beringer Vineyards, the compact property is a beautiful mix of the stately Acacia House and modern architecture rooms. + The pool, fitness center, and several nice outdoor lounge areas are all within a 1-2 minute jaunt. I happily took several work calls while basking in the sunshine of the outdoor areas. ROOM (5/5) WOW! Floor-to-ceiling windows, vineyard views, marbled bath, rainforest shower, and large outdoor terrace with fire pit - our first-floor room was spacious and stunning! + We especially enjoyed having coffee together on our terrace looking out on the grapevines. + Votary bath and body products, blackout curtains, and the handy coffee/tea/bottled water station made for a blissful stay. Thank you, Maya, Maricela, and the Alila Napa Valley team for making our stay so memorable!

Loved our stay here. Our room had such an incredible view of the vineyard. It was so peaceful being able to watch the sunrise each morning and each room had its own fire pit. The pool views were amazing and perfect for the hot summer days. Staff are very friendly. I loved the furniture and interior decorating for the rooms. We had such a pleasant and quiet stay there with stunning views.

The best staff and luxury hotel in the valley. Eric, george and austin were a delight at check-in. Krista and james as well. Modern elegant property close to wineries and firepit at night was a plus!

This property is beautiful! Located right outside of Napa & very accessible for a day trip if you live in the bay area. Visited the spa for the day for a massage. Staff was very kind through the whole process. Big shoutout to the massage therapist, Britney, who did an amazing job with my massage. She is very knowledgeable and kind. If you book a treatment for the massage, you are able to enjoy the property for the rest of the day, which is a great bonus. Definitely worth the price for all the amenities. Will definitely be back, would love to check out the restaurant for dinner or lunch, as well as the yoga programs offered weekly. 10/10

I came here for a daycation for Mother's Day weekend, and it was fabulous and beautiful. It definitely is a luxe hotel property, and me coming straight from Pilates to here made me feel like I was severely under dressed. But I will say the spa is hands-down 5 stars across the board! Service was impeccable! They did not judge and they were so nice and just great service and great explanations and just friendly and cordial and it was just absolutely terrific. My massage was so amazing. My masseuse was just gifted. That's the best way I can explain it. One of the best massages I've ever had. I also love how they give you the green tonic juice that they sell in the restaurant as a little wellness shot after your massage or service. After my massage, I decided to check out the steam room which I really loved and I thought was one of the cleanest I've ever been in and just absolutely perfect not too steamy not to anything just perfect. Then I headed to the pool and spent the rest of my time at the pool. I chose this hotel specifically because they offered bar and food service at the pool and the pool was cool and just quaint. The pool was amazing. The water was clear the pool was clean. I love the chairs. They were so flushed and comfortable. There was great sun, great views all around. I will say that the one downside was the service was not the best. I had one server who assisted me, but then disappeared and never even followed up with me to say that she was leaving or that she was transitioning me over to another server. The other server was really responsive and helpful, but when I tried to order something, they double charged me for something that was already on the menu. Since, I was ordering the burger and, the server failed to tell me that the burger came with fries, so I ordered fries on top of the burger because I thought there were no fries with it. But then the server brings out the burger with fries and a whole other order of fries telling me that fries came with the order. If I had known that I wouldn't of ordered a second set of fries. So I got charged for it, but of course I couldn't eat two plates of fries so that was a little frustrating. As I'm leaving, the server who had never told me that leaving, tracked me down and said I needed to close out my tab. And I told her that she never came back to check on me. So just some service things that probably needs to be worked out. I didn't find that the place was that busy today to warrant that service at the pool. Definitely could've been better, if things come with certain things or not. Because of that experience, I rated this four stars, but I want to be clear that the service at the spa was a five stars across-the-board.

Staying at the Alila hotel in Napa Valley, you will encounter a team dedicated to providing you with an exceptional customer experience from check-in to check-out. Check in* Upon arrival, Ellen and Unice warmly welcomed me at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and personalized check-in process. Wine was offered and set my mind to relax mode, it was local and delicious. Austin assisted with parking and carrying my bags to my room, setting the tone for attentive service throughout my stay. He also checked me out and attended to my bags with a smile and personable attitude. Breakfast / Cocktails - Acacia House For an unforgettable culinary experience, Oscar at the bar will craft the best cocktails, I recommend the Fields of Lavender cocktail to tantalize your taste buds. As you indulge in the delectable offerings at Acaia House for breakfast, Milcee, Omar, and Luis will deliver impeccable service, presenting you with a farm-to-table feast that is fresh, delicious, and truly satisfying. From the perfectly cooked eggs, sausage, bacon, to the delightful avocado toast and scrumptious perfectly seasoned potatoes, every bite will leave you craving more. Pool and amenities Relax and unwind at the warm and inviting pool, where even the rain cannot dampen your spirits. Here, you will feel pampered and cherished, surrounded by the beauty of Napa Valley. Immerse yourself in the transformative experience of sound healing guided by Gena the Director of the spa, where her expertise and exceptional service will leave you feeling invigorated and inspired. Don't skip purchasing tea to remember your stay, I recommend the turmeric tea, by leaves and flowers. Also loved the commitment to clean local beauty and wellness. Take part in rejuvenating yoga sessions that will elevate your stay to new heights of wellness and relaxation. Rooms Our group stayed two unforgettable days at Alila hotel, every moment was filled with luxury, care, and attention to detail. Cruz and Veronica took great care of cleaning my room and setting me up for a memorable evening as they turned down my bed and provided light sweet cookies that I looked forward to. The warm fire pit on my patio was perfect for doing my early morning work and staying warm. The bidet was an unexpected added feature. The bathtub was amazing and loved the Le Labo shampoo and conditioner with the bath salts. Your trip is made truly memorable by the impeccable service and dedication of the staff, leaving you feeling special, spoiled, and eager to return for another stay. The Alila hotel in Napa Valley will exceed your expectations, and you need to book now!

I'm not sure what the area is for, but it looked so nice.

Decided to hop on an app that shows me last minute hotel deals and saw Southbridge at the top of the list. Since we had a babysitter and the room rates were great, we decided to book our last minute stay. Just right across the street from Gotts and next door to Charter Oak, there was plenty of parking in the back. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and to our surprise, we were given Room 8 which was a big room that had a balcony that faced the street. Highlights - beds and pillows were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was probably the best I've experienced in a while. A quick little walk over to the next building over and as hotel guests, you have full access to all of the amenities at Health Spa Napa Valley (heated lap pool, hot tub, full gym, steam room). This was super nice to just unwind and relax after a day of over indulging. You can also place a light breakfast order to be delivered to your room at your selected time; boiled eggs, croissant, fruit, coffee, etc. Something to be aware of; the hotel is situation right off of the main road Hwy28 so if you're a light sleeper, you will hear cars, trucks and motorcycles all times of the day and night. Definitely plan on coming back again during off peak days to enjoy the amenities.

They welcome you with a nice personalized sign in your room, complimentary water and apples. The sustainable features are impressive - Instead of plastic bottles and paper cups, they give you a glass carafe and glass cups. The towels are so soft and plentiful, extra pillows and a blanket supplied were nicer than my own linens at home, certainly not just the extras. They supply cozy and comfy robes, a duraflame log for the fireplace upon request, and a sweet turn down service with stamped cookies that shout "welcome home." We enjoyed the walkability to visit art galleries and boutiques in St. Helena. We attended brunch at Mustard and Dinner reservation at Charter Oak. *Yum*!! After a long day of wine tasting, the restaurant next door/attached has delicious wood fired pizzas which we could not pass up! The drinks at the bar were generous and was a nice switch up from wine (although they have wine too, of course!) while we watched the sports game that was on. We dropped off our Continental breakfast selections which are delivered straight to your room the next morning. We felt so pampered, eating breakfast in the comfort of our own room in our robes and slippers. The mini fridge allowed us to save extras we might want to snack on later. The Illy espresso machine made it so we could enjoy espresso throughout the day and even a decaf shot at night. The pastries served are on another level and pretty much awards them the best Continental breakfast we've ever had!! We were sad we didn't get to take advantage of the health spa privileges, but it felt very nice to know we could have enjoyed the spa and sauna should we have chosen to. They give you a complimentary tasting at Merryvale across the parking lot which is an exceptional value since to reserve online was $60/person. Their wines are fantastic and the people are just as great! Our trip to Napa Valley was superb thanks to the staff and grounds at Southbridge. We will certainly come again and highly recommend it to others traveling and looking for subtle luxury and amazing comfort.

The villa is homey, the tree-filled grounds are well kept and the St. Helena location is a short drive from more great wineries than you can shake a stick at. I like this type of B&B, one more focused on welcoming you and making you feel comfortable than killing you with cuteness, doilies and teddy bears. I really liked the Barcelona room. Like a lot of the rooms, it has a private patio. It was sweet to lounge in the sun and read with the sounds of cooing doves and songbirds in the air. It's rare that I stay at a place with a comfortable bed worth noting! This one was a luxurious California King. Nice sized room, with nice touches. It's not quite Architectural Digest, but I like the villa's vibe. The bathroom was large, featuring a shower/tub with good water pressure. The toiletries are only halfway to upscale, but don't people who care the most about shampoos and lotions bring their own anyway? The wifi worked well. Cell service is spotty - but that's the valley. I was happy with everything about the room and facility. And I didn't even take advantage of the bocce ball court! The highlight of the breakfast included with your stay is the house-made granola prepared by Roy's wife. It's served with fresh fruit and yogurt, juice, coffee, a selection of bagels, English muffins and hard boiled eggs. There are tables in a couple of rooms and outside, so you can chat with other guests or keep to yourself. I think the timing was 7:30 - 9:30. Roy is a retired language professor and a hoot to converse with. How often do you meet a real polyglot? And he does some great accents. Here's my take on staying here versus other options. If you're feeling flush, the Harvest Inn across the valley has an even more beautiful setting and a more extensive brunch spread. But sometimes, you don't want to empty your wallet just to visit the slice of heaven known as Napa Valley. Or maybe you just want to have dollars left to buy more bottles of wine... You may want to take advantage of the discount Spanish Villa Inn offers if you pay with a check or cash, instead of a credit card. You'd pay a little less and get a lot less in return at some of the "bargain" B&B's and hotels around these parts. Roy's villa is quiet, clean, comfortable and inviting. And being in St. Helena, instead of down in Napa is a huge advantage for really enjoying the entirety of the valley!

Welcome to the Hotel of horrors…read more... Horrible Experience - Bedbugs, No Help from Staff, and a Ruined Trip I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to warn others. We booked two rooms at this hotel -- one for our child and one for my husband and me. We checked in around 5 or 6 PM, unpacked, and went for a walk. We returned around 9 PM. I put our child to bed, read him a story, and dozed off next to him. I woke up feeling tired, reached to turn off the light -- and saw a bug on me. At first, I thought it was something harmless. But then I saw more -- bedbugs were crawling all over the bed, on me, on my child. I called my husband in, and he crushed one -- it was full of blood. That's when we realized the bed was infested. We woke our child and lifted the sheets -- the bed was swarming with bugs of all sizes, from large ones to tiny, barely visible ones. They were on the sheets, pillows, and even on the walls. We called the "emergency" number -- no one answered. I knocked on the manager's door (this is a small Victorian-style inn with only a few rooms) -- no response. I left a message, but no one called back. Around 11 PM, we packed everything and left, searching for another place to stay. We drove around until 1:30 AM -- most hotels were either full or closed for the night. What was supposed to be a relaxing birthday trip for my husband turned into a stressful nightmare. The next morning, while unpacking, I found bedbugs in our luggage -- one in our child's suitcase and another in ours. I also noticed a bite on our child's leg. We spent the entire day steaming every item of clothing and luggage, trying to kill any remaining bugs. The hotel manager finally called in the morning, apologized, and claimed this had "never happened before." She said the owner would call us and issue a refund. But no one called. I went back to the hotel and asked to speak with the owner. When he finally responded, he gave a brief apology but showed no real concern. No compensation was offered, and there was no accountability. Even worse -- the hotel was still fully operating, accepting guests like nothing had happened. In a building this old, bedbugs are unlikely to stay in just one room. They should have shut the hotel down, replaced mattresses, treated everything professionally. Instead, they pretended all was fine. One of the staff even accused me of "scaring guests" and "trying to hurt their business." I told them I wasn't trying to damage your reputation -- but people have a right to know the truth. This was the worst travel experience of my life. I travel frequently and have never encountered anything like this. I hope no one else has to go through what we did. If someone had written a review like this earlier, we never would have stayed there. I'm sharing our story so others can avoid the same nightmare.
