I've taken my car to Gary's shop multiple times. I have a lowered vehicle with aftermarket adjustable parts for camber. The first few times were solid, including the time he noticed my trailing arm bushings were torn, he offered to fix. No problem there. The last time I took my car there, he did the alignment, several months later my tires were extremely worn on the inside. Took it to another shop I go to, they informed me my equipment was not tightened down correctly, causing my alignment to fail within weeks of the alignment. Overall, if you have a car with specialty parts on it, I'd maybe consider going somewhere else. If you have a standard car with no aftermarket parts, Gary does good standard alignments. read more

Gary is super chill guy. I arrived on time w/ my appointment and he took me in right away without any wait. The waiting room/ workshop is super clean and spacious, no problem with social distancing. My car was recently lowered on coilovers, so i wanted a little camber to make the car sit nicely. Gray was adjusted the camber to my preference and finished alignment within an hour. He is very knowledgeable and explained the work that he has done on my car. it seems like the regular alignment is $75 and aftermarket adjustment is about $125. Gary does excellent work but not good enough to deal with his bad attitude & demeanor. I had always brought all of my vehicles there for many years now but I will no longer be returning. I'm not sure what exactly his issue is but every time you go there he has a huge chip on his shoulder and makes it quite apparent that he is irritated or bothered in someway. You would think that he would be glad that customers are walking in your door and putting money in your pocket. He always has a way of making you feel like you are bothering him or putting him out in someway. So much so that you feel like you have to walk on egg shells around him. I have ran into other people in town that have experienced the same behavior from him. Even if you were the only person in town that offers a service you should still treat/greet your customers with a pleasant demeanor and at least pretend that you're appreciative of their business! I don't care how good you are at what you do, you should always welcome your customers in a friendly manner and treat them in a way that they feel welcomed and want to come back! Especially when there's dozens of other shops within a 10 mile radius that does what you do. Humility is something he needs to work on! After my last experience Five vehicles Will not be returning with me! I will drive to Vacaville and deal with people that are pleasant. read more

Quick appointment. Thorough explanation. Great price. Honest work. Gary answered my call, offered me an appointment that day, or the following two. He let me schedule any time of day after they opened. He even explained his location and let me know that if I waited there for my car to be done that it would be cold in the shop. He saw us coming to the shop and propped open the door for us, took my keys and told us 30-45 minutes. Sure enough, he called 44 minutes later and said my car was ready and I could come anytime before closing at 5pm. It was a flat $75, which I charged to my credit card. He explained what he did and what to look for. He answered my question and didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing (as some other mechanics have done in the past). Called the day before to make an appointment. Not too friendly on the phone but made my appointment. I need an alignment for 1972 Cutlass. Went in for my appointment. He didn't say much. Asked what kind of issues I had with the vehicle. Took the car for a test drive and then drove the vehicle on to the rack. Took about 45 mins to fix. Came here today since Costco doesn't do alignments and the tech there highly recommended this spot. I called the day before and set up an appointment with Gary. Gary was absolutely great and very direct. I came in about 15 minutes early and he got me in and out in about 35 minutes. He found some issues and did a nice check over of the underside of my car. It was $75 bucks and overall I feel much better that my car is finally driving straight. I will definitely recommend this spot and let others know to come here! read more

I'm not sure he needs another 5 start review, but Gary gets one. I love a real, genuine craftsman. Someone who knows how to use the tools and understand how to finesse them to get the right solution. As I told Gary, I don't get my car's aligned. They never come back right. Pull to the right, pull to the left, steering wheel off center. I hate it. Rather chew up tires a bit than deal with the car being wacky. Gary was sympathetic and explained to me how you have to understand the vehicle and what the machine is telling me. The Green windows are so large you can be in the green but have undriveable. So he threw my truck on the lift and 5 min later said "you shouldn't pay me to align this", then invited me over to show and explain what was wrong with my vehicle. We talked about options and he looked up the parts for me to make sure it was fixable. I'd told him early on I'd probably do it myself (even though he's fully capable and more than just an alignment shop) and he was still ok with it. Took me a few weeks, but I brought the truck back with the required repairs. Gary showed me what the problems were and how he was reading the computer to get me to what I wanted - proper tire wear, tracking straight and a straight steering wheel. A very short time later, my truck was aligned and sure enough, drives just like it always has. I don't need a death grip to keep it straight on the road, I can reach over and hit the A/C or turn up the tunes without fear. Gary is now my go-to for all tire/suspension/alignment needs. This guys super knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. I have front and back camber kits and he was able to dial it in as close as he could to stock (I'm missing some parts that could get it back to stock adjustable toe arm etc..). He has the most reasonable prices around some people wanted 100$ more because my car was modified, others wouldn't even touch my car haha. I trust him with my future alignments. I had been getting tire alignments from Honda for my Civic for years. Yet my tires still did not wear properly. I bought a new set of tires at Costco and they recommended I come here. I made a 1pm appointment and when I arrived, Gary was waiting. I knew he was very thorough from the questions he asked and the careful attention to his work. He suggested a camber bolt and 15 mins later it was delivered to his shop. (I wonder why Honda never suggested a camber bolt.) The final bill was comparable to what I used to pay Honda WITH a coupon for an alignment. Gary said he does no marketing. And I see why. He's honest and is not the type to sell you something you don't need. I'll definitely be back. And by the way, don't let the name of the shop fool you. He is a one man shop that does more than alignments. i drove off impressed and satisfied. read more
