Nice larger grocery store for a rather small town. I was picking up basic cabin fare (soda and…read moresnacks) and they were well stocked. Prices were as expected. While checking out, the cashier mentioned that the new store will be coming in March 2024. I was standing in what will be the new parking lot. It will clearly be significantly larger which will be a great thing for the town and its visitors. Hope to be up north again to check it out.

A coffee shop, floral market, meat and seafood market, fresh prepared foods and gourmet desserts, an organic and all natural section and a deli that would knock your socks off! It's the best market that we have shopped at since we left Florida! We have only cooked one breakfast in the 22 days we've been away! (That doesn't include the homemade meals we had at David's brothers house for almost two weeks lol!) The weather is beautiful here in the low 70's and we're going to grill tonight and make a fire! Finally get to really camp out! We love finding wonderful community businesses and supporting them!

My mom is constantly on a diet, so this is like 3 days of food for her but I am a hungrier person. I think the salad was larger than the pizza. Good, basic, run-of-the-mill small-town grocery store. The people are all friendly and helpful,…read moreespecially in the new Brainerd store. No specialty items (not Byerlys by any stretch of imagination), and a very mediocre bakery, but a convenient place to find the usual every day basic packaged food items. The deli section is usually pretty good. Keeping adequate stock of some store food items is apparently difficult, re-stocking is often haphazard or slow, (much more common in Crosby). Meat section is very basic and generally competent, but Super One is not the place to shop for a great steak. Produce at Crosby often suffers from lack of attention to freshness and the occasional rotten onion or wilted leafy vegetable does happen. If my grocery list is produce-heavy, I'll head to Brainerd or Baxter where the produce is likely to be fresher and better stocked. All-in-all, a reasonably competent basic supermarket chain.

Pricing is good, typical Walmart cost wise and a good hunk of the items are from out of the country. In a way I feel bad for the team here, the store is subject to a ton of theft as evidenced by open packages you see left on the shelving in the aisles. :(

We ordered…read moreTires for our car at 5:46 PM They took the car into the bay never put it on the hoist, and came back out to us and said they would not be able to put the tires on because "The lugs are stripped and cannot get them off. The week prior I had replaced the brake shoes myself and turned the lug nuts on with my fingers and had applied anti-seize to the lugs. I told the attendants this and all they said was whoever put them on cross threaded them. So, I figured they cross threaded them because I knew they were not cross-threaded! So nI went and purchased new lugs and nuts costing nearly $150 and went home. I pulled out my breaker bar and loosened the lugs easily. I tourqued them to 150 foot LBS the week prior. I am going out on a limb here, because we watched three guy's walking around and talking whilst pointing at the wheels... They just did not want to work and just wanted to ride out the clock since they close at 7PM. Bear in mind we called ahead to make sure they had time to do the job, and they said yes. They were cleaning the bays when we got there. They wasted our time and gas getting there. They wasted our time whilst we waited in our other car watching from outside while they he-hawed around. Then they accused me of ruining parts on my own car. I was a journeyman machinist for 30 years and they said I cross threaded my lugs. I would NEVER SHOP AT WALMART or get our car serviced there EVER with such incompetent or LAZY employees you choose. They lost a good deal of money and they were still on the clock, it is no wonder so many Walmart stores are closing nationwide !
