Went to their Turtle Lake location to inquire about having some venison products made. Stood in…read moretheir lobby/office area for several minutes calling out "hello?". No answer, no one at the desk by the door. After a few minutes, I could hear someone opening/closing a desk drawer in an office--called out "hello" one last time thinking certainly they'll come out, but no. Left knowing I made the right decision not to get my product made there - first impressions are important. Alas, I'll take it to my go to place 5 hours away - it's a long drive but I am guaranteed satisfaction. I may one day find a location near me, but it won't be Stittsworth.

I purchased two Chicken Cordon Bleu breasts, only to find out there was absolutely no ham inside. One had a small amount of cheese and the other had none; just an empty pocket that should have been filled. I'm not sure if Stittsworth has no idea what Chicken Cordon Bleu is or the employee who was making them just got lazy. False advertising? Although, they had a few other breaded and stuffed chicken breasts we won't be giv them a try. There's no way of knowing if they are what is described. From now on, we'll stick with things like bacon or pork chops where you can see what you are getting before you purchase it.

Everyone recommended this place but my husband was craving Walleye, not BBQ. He checked the menu…read moreand sure enough they had Walleye. We made it an early dinner so not too many people. We sat ourselves and the server behind the bar came around, greeted us and took our drink orders. My husband asked if he could order a Walleye filet and they accommodated; he got mashed potatoes and salad for his sides. I ordered The Mayor salad (truly enough food for two) The Walleye was cooked perfectly, and it was delicious. My husband asked for them to heat up the potatoes, unfortunately they were luke warm at best. My salad was a large salad topped with brisket, smoked turkey, bacon and a chicken wing. My husband and I split the chicken wing, it was crispy, but almost too crispy. In the fryer a bit too long. The brisket was a bit dry, but the smoked turkey was perfect. There were two hard boiled eggs, so if you are eating just protein and vegetables this is is your order. There were a lot of jalapenos on it, and lots of crisp greens. I would order it again, but most likely split it with someone. The service was great. While we were there it was getting crowded. This was the second restaurant that we went to where there was only one person taking orders. Fortunately, she had someone running the food out because she was also tending bar, along with the food runner. Although we were not neglected, it would have been better for them if there were more on staff. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

I was offered a wrap and although it was decent - I think they need a bit of help with inventory management or something to ensure they have product available for customers. Had a couple walk out behind me because they weren't happy with a wrap as an alternative, so they're simply losing business. I will likely be back for a third try to try it again, maybe they'll have figured out what's going on by then, but I won't return if that visit has issues as well. Store was also dirty and unkept.
