I live in Vancouver and consistently crave Alicia's chimichangas... the BEST mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico. also those pulparindos....... effervescent.. read more

tacos dryer than the Sahara desert, portions of a squirrels ballsack (gone in two bites), only decent thing was the horchata.

Possibly the worst tacos I've had. If you're able to view my photos, the fish tacos were served with the tiniest sliver of fish. Not to mention, all their tacos are only served with 1 tortilla, rather than the standard practice of 2. I also ordered the 7 Taco Platter, all of which tasted more or less the same (flavorless and bland, lack of extra toppings to enhance the flavors as well) and cleanliness was very questionable here. Would not return nor would I recommend read more

Alicia's Flavours - a plate of tacos and a bottle of soda - Mexican Near Me - Chilliwack, British Columbia

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service from the OWNER. The servers are great but the owner is worthless. Here's why... My wife and I ordered lunch at Alicia's. My wife had tacos which were OK but not great. They are similar to street tacos in Mexico albeit with significantly less flavor. I had the taco salad. The salad was in a very small bowl with grocery store lettuce, horrible chicken, and what tasted like water. The bowl was about 50% water or some kind of moisture. It was definitely not edible. I put the bowl on the end of the table and told the server it was not edible. She asked if I wanted anything else and I refused because it took over 30 minutes to make the crap taco salad. How long would it take to make a decent meal? Upon paying the check, the server refused to credit the amount for the taco salad. THE OWNER REFUSED TO CREDIT THE BILL because I didn't explain well enough why it was not edible. Worse of all, the owner LEFT THE RESTAURANT so she wouldn't have to credit the bill. RUN, RUN, RUN away from this restaurant. It sucks. read more

I had the fish tacos, this was a perfect size for me. The food was freshly made and tasty. The price was fair. read more

1st of all YELP says there CLOSED today Monday. ??? Well they we open. So I went in. Ordered they Asada Taco which came with a Horrendous Hot Sauce. On to the Taco The Steak had some good flavour to it. Next Time I will definitely get some Pico de gallo to round it out. Now the sauce was inedible as far as I'm concerned. Still there was some flavour at Flavours so I'm a .......Be Back. read more

Used to be a great place to go to but seems to have gone downhill in the last year. Had hair in our food (two different dishes, four strands of hair) bits of aluminum foil on the plate, tacos were served cold, bottled Soda drinks were warm, service was slow even though there was only one other table, bathroom was filthy. We won't be back. read more

This place has a lot of potential but there is a lack of focus on service, experience, consistency and cleanliness. We have had the best burritos at Alicias but depending on who is making them, you can also get awful burritos and food. The restaurant itself also makes you question their cleanliness/food safety. There is dust all over the lights, tables being cleaned with dirty rags, food being prepared with no gloves while also working the debit machine and more. Reading other recent reviews, hair in food... Today, we ordered 2 California burritos to go. And they were all potato. No meat. And they made me sick. Throwing up sick. We won't be returning. read more

Excellent food. All made in house and you can definately tell. Did take out and all was done perfectly. Would be there everyday if we lived in Chilliwack. read more

Delicious Mexican food. really worth the stop. The place is also very nice and pleasant to stay. The service is...kinda hilarious. Make sure the waiter remembers your order! This is not a fast food, so make sure you have enough time. read more

I ordered off skip the dishes... I ordered flautas, 2 lime jarrritos and extra rice and beans. What I got is... 2 pineapple jarritos, my flautas, no beans and a side of rice. I ordered extra beans and rice and I should have gotten beans and rice and extra beans and rice... I'm very disappointed... read more

Outstanding food. Great flavour and quality. Sat outside which was lovely. Reasonably priced too!

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. Best tasting tacos this side of the Valley however. Alicia's kitchen staff needs to care about service output. It's kind of how you'll stay in business and thrive kids. Business 101 and all that jazz y'know? Servers clearly don't care about their customers either. Shame. I'd have loved to go back again, but there's always Vancouver for us. Replying only to the single positive review solidifies my review. Not commenting is the worst thing you can do for your business as I'd wager to bet a lot haven't come back based on the sample reviews here experienced by others. Word of mouth kills if it's not positive. read more

Great family run business and food!! Delicious. Super friendly and definitely worth going to.

I had been to this restaurant a couple of times before with my family and the food was great and the service good. This time however I was on my own. They took my order and gave me my water and then promptly forgot about me. I was there for an hour and half, and nobody apologized or said boo to me. I left when a lady who was by herself got served after only being there for half an hour. With so many other options out there I will not go back again. read more

Best Mexican in town. Fresh and yummy everytime. The price point is great for family.

We went here on a Friday night so it was busy, and we did wait probably half an hour for our food. Despite that, the food was authentic and tasted amazing. If you're in a rush this probably isn't the place for you, but the food justifies the wait. We got an order of fish tacos and an order of shrimp tacos, and I had a margarita. Food was fresh and delicious, and we'll definitely be back! read more

Delicious Mexican food in an unlikely hidey hole. There's even a nice little patio - check it out you'll be happily surprised.

We have tried Alicia's four times- the food is excellent, the service is atrocious. Just went in for lunch and after twenty minutes of waiting, got up to get my own menu. Then waited another ten minutes just to see another table getting served who came in 15 minutes after us. It's like we were invisible. So after an hour we left without a hello or a goodbye. read more

Outstanding Mexican food in a quaint location. Authentic street tacos, and other favorites. The asada tacos were amazing. Condiment portions are pricey and small, but full of flavor. Best Mexican in Chilliwack. Friendly and efficient staff. Definitely a new favorite. read more

Found Alicia's open on a Sunday and thought we would stop for a meal. The waiter needs some training. It took awhile for our drinks. We then ordered fish tacos and enchiladas rancheros. As we were waiting the waiter realized that he should have given us chips and salsa. When we finished those, our meals arrived. The fish in the tacos were burnt. The refried beans had been cooked down so much that it was a gravy. All the food tasted good but was very salty even the chips. We did send back the tacos and got a better dish. As we were leaving my husband heard the waiter on the phone asking how to make an alcoholic beverage he didn't know. Not sure if we'll give Alicia's another try. Guess the rating should be 2-1/2. read more
