On our way back from a lake, we passed a cute little Mexican place that had patio seating and we unanimously decided, Mexican was for lunch. Our table ordered a Corona, Hibiscus Margarita, Pina Colada, Burrito, Mix and Match tacos, and a Hugo Bowl. Lucky for us, we were there during Happy Hour. some cocktails were $9, the Mix and Match 3 tacos and Hugos Bowl were both $16.50. They give the table a bowl of chips and salsa which was a nice start with our drinks. I found that some of the vegetarian tacos were not as seasoned as I'd like and tasted a little bland. Other than that, service was good. It's a small venue, and we had to wait outside for them to clean up a table for us to sit at. Everyone was very attentive and food came pretty quickly.

The Chimichanga is my favourite thing on the menu. It's so good. Perfect crispy outside with a cheesy interior. Mmm My second favourite is the potato quesadilla. Honestly, this thing is amazing. It has the best crunch you will ever get in food.. the potato with the cheese together creates a lovely cream cheesy flavour. In general anything you order is going to be pretty good. They have very yummy refried beans and rice that come with most meals. It's a very traditional Mexican family restaurant with all around good food and a nice friendly feel to the place.

Now they have one employee, no music, one bottle of hot sauce to share for all customers, and half the light bulbs are burnt out. When i asked for hot sauce to go she ran to a customers table that was using the bottle and filled a togo cup for me. Filled it at their table and left the bottle on their table. I thought i was tripping on mush. Ill bet anything this place will go under before 2017. Its sooo close...Last breaths. Day by day. Struggling. Its another east Indian taco spot in abby. I dont get it she probably cant even spell taco. They think the less they fill the tacos equals more money in the long run. NOPE NO NO NoPe thats not how it works dummies. Its like ordering a pizza and getting 4 pepperoni slices. Would you be pissed?? You give customers what they want and they come back and they tell their friends and you succeed. Theyre trying to come up by ripping people off. Whoever runs this business has no idea how to run a restaurant its just ew. They arnt even good everything is old and soggy. Guacs brown. I ordered 3 tacos she told me meat and taco shell are included every other "topping" is extra so it ended up costing around 8$ per taco. Dont know the exact cost per taco though because she wouldnt tell me. I asked for a receipt and she got so weird. shes like I charged for every "topping" it was like a confession. The receipt had no cost break down just the total at the bottom. Still have no idea what each topping cost. Custom receipts knowing they will be ripping people off in the future. 39$ for 3 tacos and a drink. Such a weird situation its like she expected me to haggle. I DONT HAGGLE FOR FOOD. Whatever they over charged me im not butthurt about it but i wont go back because of how weird it got

It was like holding a small child. The blend of flavors delivered by the fresh ingredients was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful shift away from the boring "mexican" food that's commonly available in Canada. I'm a large man, and it has been years since I've not been able to finish a meal in one sitting. The restaurant was clean, the staff were efficient, and the portions were hefty.
