It was just too hot sitting there and also noisy from the kitchen and orders being called out, etc. Asked (I think) the manager, Amanda, if there's any way we can move to another table cause we are just sweating and wouldn't be able to survive through dinner, haha! We also had our 83 year old grandma there so we were even more concerned for her well being. Amanda was accomadating with offering us a different table as long as we could finish in 90 minutes. We started with the Italian Farm Salad to share and a bowl of Tuscan White Bean Soup. It was SO good. I might just have to call it the "Izzy Chicken Parm" from now on because I'm not sure I'll ever be able to explain the order again and get it exactly the way Izzy put it in for me! After a few bites, we realized it just wasn't for us and seemed a little undercooked. We mentioned it to Izzy, and she couldn't have been nicer about it. She immediately offered to have a different pizza made for us and even offered to box up the first one for us to take home. We ended up switching to the Pear & Caramelized Onion pizza, which we've had before and already know we enjoy. We absolutely love the food at GIA MIA, but Izzy's wonderful service made this visit especially memorable.
