Passed this spot on the way back to the hotel and thought I need to try and returned to find a…read moresmaller almost "hole in the wall" space with an extensive variety of specialty pie options and some fun signs posted-ie "If you ask me for ketchup and mayonnaise I'll call the police!!." They have a small pizza and a bigger size which I would say is about 10 inches. The small size was sold out on my first visit and found out better to arrive earlier (before 6) for these. The Mini pies are good if you want to try a few varieties-so many so little time. Ordered the big Amatriciana (the unloved pasta dish of the big Roman four as a pizza) which was recommended-Pecorino, mozzarella with the Pork cheeks taking it over the top-one of their most popular and rightfully so! On the second visit , they had the small size pies-Friarielli & Salsiccia-Broccoli Rave and sausage-tasty, Fegato & Cipolla-pork liver sausage with onions and peppers made for a "not everyday" and delicious pie. Both visits service was excellent and engaged. This place screams independent and one of a kind but it turns out they are a regional chain with a handful of locations. Amazing pizza with so many options!

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

It's a bit off the beaten path and it's inexpensive. I'm a fan. Several different options for pizza on display and I chose the most interesting and colorful one. Something with peppers and onions and smoked salmon. Weird but sure, why not. It's sold the usual Italian way - by weight. Pick a size, they cut it and weight it and then warm it up. My pizza was ready in a few minutes and I paid for it with a beer and sat in the back to enjoy. It's hard to go wrong at €8.40 and this was delicious. Maybe it could have spent some more time in the oven but it was still tasty. Great option for great inexpensive pizza in a spot that likely doesn't get too busy with other tourists. Forno da Milvio is a good option for some quick pizza. I came here after visiting the Colosseum…read moreand wandering nearby it. I came with one other person and we noticed there was a line. It took awhile until it was our turn and to be honest it felt a little chaotic inside. Once it got to us we asked for two different types of pizzas to share. They charge you by weight. Both of the pizzas were pretty good. Their crusts are a little thicker though and pretty filling. I got a pizza that had some very spicy meat on top which was my favorite. The other pizza we got was just okay. Besides their just made pizzas, they also had pastas and other items you can order. The guys behind the counter were nice. We asked for a new pizza fresh out the oven but they told us we had to get the one sitting there to finish it off. There is a casual dining area but it was all full when we tried to sit. Overall it was a mediocre experience.

**Ce Stamo a Pensà -- Rome **…read more After a long flight and arriving in Rome late at night, we decided to stretch our legs and walk around--and somehow stumbled upon this little gem. There were no tables available when we arrived, but we figured the wait might be worth it. **It absolutely was.** While we waited, they offered us some wine and a little bite--almost like a small pastry filled with cheese and tomato--which was such a thoughtful touch and made the wait feel effortless. Once seated, we ordered more wine along with two Roman classics: **Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara.** The **Cacio e Pepe** was exactly what we hoped for: beautifully creamy, cheesy, and well balanced without feeling overly heavy or greasy. The pepper came through nicely, complementing the richness of the cheese rather than overpowering it. The **Carbonara** was equally impressive. The pasta had that wonderful fresh, silky texture, the sauce was rich and intensely cheesy, and the pancetta was perfectly crispy and salty. Every bite had the right balance of creamy, savory, and salty. Ambiance was quiet, chill and very welcomely.

The food is pretty good. I'd stay away from the traditional sandwich and go for the pita pocket…read moretype sandwiches or the pasta dishes. Also the fried pizza is pretty good. The service is very good and friendly. Now the warning. There is usually a line. There are only enough tables for 15 people and calling them tables is a stretch. As you walk along a thin hallway towards the restroom there are 3 tables for 2. At the entrance there are two counters that have 4 seats on one side and 5 on the other. You also need to have an ass that fits on a small stool. They play great American and British Rock and have semi passable AC.
