Brought my wedding dress to Alice, the dress fit me very well and I really only needed to hem it but there was a lot of layers to it! Alice met with me and we discussed what I needed, she then had me put on the dress and show me how the alterations would look with some pins in place. I agreed and she worked her magic. Came to get my bridesmaid dress altered at Alice Li alterations last week. At first impression, I did not know it was in her home. So I called her to make sure that it was the right address, to which she confirmed. Upon entering her home, we went to the basement where all the magic happened. Alice was friendly and professional. I slipped into my dress with the heels I planned to wear on the day of my cousins wedding and Alice got right to it. I told her how long I wanted the dress to be, and I needed to add some cups into the dress, which she provided for an additional cost. Total dress alterations and cup sewn into the dress costs $100. Told me the dress would be ready in 2 weeks. Picked up the dress and tried it on with the same heels and everything fit very nicely! Super happy, length is good and cups gave it a nice touch to the dress overall, just wished she could've steamed it for the price I paid (it was given to me in a grocery bag). Deducted 1 stars, because I asked my cousin who is also a bridesmaid how much she got her dress altered for and at an actual store; she got it all done for $60 (steamed too). read more

I am living in Chicago so I left my dress at my Mom's in Toronto. I came back on the night of June 7th for my wedding on June 10th. The first thing I did was try on my dress and OMG it was too big!
