Cozy little speak tucked behind the Syndicate Coffee shop. The coffee shop it self is pretty impressive and looking to grab an espresso next visit. Nailed the speakeasy vibes with the secret refrigerator entrance which transports you back to the prohibition style vibes. Awesome curated crafted cocktail selection with great descriptions of what you'll be getting. For the spirit lovers the selection is too notch and decently priced. Whiskey lovers will enjoy their extensive and impressive selections. Great spot for a little night cap and change of pace when on the Gatlinburg strip.

The Alibi is great. Very speakeasy style. The bartenders are very knowledgeable. They have amazing drinks. Very photogenic drinks. The food is great too. Plated well. The vibe is very old school rich. You do NOT have to dress up if you don't want too. People go in however they are dress. The staff is friendly and make your night fun.

This place is a great addition to downtown Gatlinburg. I love the speakeasy theme and ambiance was perfect. The staff were really friendly as well. The drinks were pricy, but expected given the type of venue and location. I usually am not a fan of overdone/fancy drinks, but I found one that sounded good and it wasn't bad! They had some creative presentations for the drinks which the whole group enjoyed! Again, I really enjoyed the ambiance and new experience more than anything and would recommend trying this place out!

I found a speakeasy! Go to Elk Plaza and the coffee shop. Walk through the freezer and you will find an excellent little bar. It's a throwback to the 1920s. The drinks are made right by pros. I was very impressed. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. Absolutely, check this place out and have a drink.

    Martini service for two.

We've been to Alibi in Gatlinburg three times now, and it has been excellent every single visit. Hannah was our bartender, and while the drinks on the menu were fantastic, the off menu cocktails she made for us were some of the best we've ever had anywhere. You can tell she really knows her craft. If there's a line, don't let it scare you off. It's absolutely worth the wait.

This place is amazing! The ambiance, drinks, and service could not be better. Highly recommend getting there at opening time because it is small and intimate.

I ordered the traditional schnitzel (pork cutlet that was pounded thin). It was not breaded, but it was coated with egg and flour and prepared well. I had the German potato salad and red cabbage side orders. Both were served warm as is custom. I was a bit upset that the waiter gave me the bill when the meal was finished. I told him it was my birthday and that I had wanted coffee and cake. He took the bill and crumpled it in his hand. The portion of cake that he presented could have easily served three! I left the top frosting. The chocolate cake was moist and the frosting between the layers was German chocolate. Available seating offerings were a booth, table, or a table al fresco. It had the beer garden appeal. I opted to sit inside. The restaurant is also very family oriented (as are most things in Pigeon Forge). Prices were reasonable, food was served at the correct temperature, portions were prodigious. The venue was also immaculate. I would recommend this tavern to anyone who appreciates German fare.

At 8pm Waitress presented bill while we were finishing main course without asking if we wanted dessert and left quick. When I had to flag her down and mentioned we wanted dessert like apple studel waitress, she spun and walked to kitchen but didn't ask if wanted anything else, dropped off updated bill with 1 strudel on it before dessert landed then never saw that waitress again... eventually bar tender came over to take our credit card. Cant recommend.

Got invited to a drum circle in Gatrlinburg by my girlfriend's son…read more We went out that morning to see Cades Cover (big mistake - it was Memorial Day) and swung back around through Townsend (stopped at Mountain Man to have a craft brew on the way). Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

The moment we walked in and saw the Red Wings jerseys, I had a feeling we were in the right place--and we were. The bourbon selection is outstanding, the wings and pretzel appetizer were excellent, and the fish and chips were hands down the best I've ever had. My daughter ordered the filet, and it was a true filet cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the prices were incredibly reasonable. We had appetizers, dinner, and several bourbons, and our bill was actually lower than what we paid the night before at another restaurant that wasn't even close in quality or service. Thank you for ending our Smoky Mountains vacation on such a high note!

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.

You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

Good choices. Limited food but for tourist area very nice vibe…read more Drinks high though and no specials I believe it will be better
