We hit Alfy's a couple times a month during lunch...mainly for the salad bar and I always order a personal size pie. Place is always clean. They keep up the salad bar and it's a fair deal. 2 fellows that work there on the counter aren't the most cheerful but they aren't jerks either. Definitely recommend. read more

Alfy's Pizza, or should I say, how to put yourself out of business. I grew up with Alfy's there was one in our area as a kid decades ago. It closed and became Pietro's and that location eventually became Pizza Haven. Anyone that remember the latter, knows they have been gone for decades as well. That said, my memories of both were positive and since we road-tripped to Portland for Pietro's it was only fitting we road trip here as well As always we checked the website ahead of time to decide what we would have and although some places don't publish pricing online this business does. We checked the menu in restaurant as we always do, because sometimes they don't update the website and prices have changed, but the prices matched. We placed our order and was shocked to see the prices were 20% to 25% higher. The pizza was about 15% higher and they added an 8% service fee for each order. When I asked the guy about the prices, he got mad, he said he was unaware about the price increase but said the 8% was explained on a sign, that he was unable to find. Since we had driven more than an hour, without a backup plan, we ordered a smaller pizza to offset the costs, but it gets worse! We ordered the Royal Alfy, which is supposed to be a loaded pizza. There was so little meat on this pizza it was criminal. I don't think there was a piece of sausage for each piece of pizza and I didn't detect many other meat toppings at all. It tasted like a veggie pizza, which is not what we paid for and with the inflated prices, we overpaid for that! In review of the website, since we planned this trip last summer, they have two locations that are temporarily closed. Sorry, not possible, you can't have a location without revenue for an extended period and hope to reopen. It clearly takes cash flow you do not have!!! After this amount of time unless you have a documented remodel, which you don't, those locations are not opening and the way you are cheating the community, it won't be long before the remaining locations close and based on your low Yelp score, It's clear you either don't care, don't listen or don't understand that without a community, you have no business. That was officially the longest drive for the worst pizza. I'll come back under one condition, to help you lock the door when you lose your lease. Karma is coming and you will regret not being a better business. read more

I don't know how this place gets such low ratings. I completely disagree. It isn't often that I get their pizza as I like to come in and get there all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar is about you'd expect from an old school pizza joint, but everything has always seemed fresh and tasty. I've never had any problems with the staff though some are not the friendliest. I'd say if you remember God Fathers, Round Table, pizza haven, Pietro's pizza or any of the other old school pizza chains this is as close as your going to get and to me, for my old school pizza place fix this is it! read more

One of the last Alfy's left and we love making the drive. They still have Nintendo 64 games and my husband and I always get a few games in while they bake our pizzas. The pizza recipe is consistent with what I remember from my childhood. They have a nice banquet room in the back to rent as well, definitely a gathering place for families. With that being said, please make sure your kids understand how dangerous it is to run in here. A lady almost dropped a pizza on a kid because two kids were roughhousing and running through the middle of the entryway/ordering area. We rented the banquet room and I signed 2 receipts & when my cc statement came they had apparently adjusted my total after me signing because they said they forgot some charges. What happened to Alfys pizza in monroe? No more half price pizza and no more Greek pizza.

I understand some people have bad experiences at any restaurant so I discount random ones that talk about a bad employee. Every restaurant has a few bad apples. You gotta excuse all restaurant reviews for the covid years 2020-21 as well. Times were tough. More importantly: How's the food? The service is something you have to judge after a few times. I've been here a few times now for our monthly meetings on Tuesday night. The pizza is okay. Not fantastic but I've had much worse at other places. We get a discount on pizza when we have meetings as does any regular group. I've had the parmesan wings before and they were delicious! I recommend them highly. I like the salad bar. They have lettuce and spinach. I have never noticed bad lettuce in the bowls. They have a ton of goodies to put on your salad. You can have a one time plate or a all-you-can eat plate. It comes with free garlic bread. It's under warm lights so it can get hard after a while. The little ones might like the games they have inside. There are some free old style computer monitors that have some games on them. Some of the monitors dont work though. There's plenty of comfortable seating. I like this place for a family outing or a group meeting. There is a large separate room that can be divided in two sections for smaller groups. Give it a try. The employees have always been friendly. I'm sure you'll like it! I'll take some pics next time I go. read more

If I could do zero stars I would. Here's how the experience went for us. Keep in mind, we've ordered from Alfys in Monroe on and off for over 8 years now at the same house. 6:30 order pizza. Was told it was not busy, so it would be 30 mins. COOL! 8:00 rolls around, no pizza. I call back. They tell me there is a system issue screwing up the tickets making delivery difficult, driver had to return to alfys for address verification. But he is back out. Ok...stuff happens. 8:30 call from the driver with the address ave vs dr. cannot find the house. I give him the correct address. am told I am out of delivery zone, as he continually repeats my address incorrectly. I give him the entire address, surrounding directions, cross street etc. Okay hes on his way again. 9:00 he calls, repeats a COMPLETELY Different address not even close to mine, takes 5 minutes to find the ticket that he says he finally found. I repeat no, this is my address. again with directions, etc. He sounded completely out of it, impaired in some way. But said i'll get yours out to you ahead of my other deliveries. 9:30 rolls around, still no pizza. We call the number of the driver for a 3rd conversation where he says I'm off the clock. We say seriously? We've been waiting OVER 3 HOURS WITH NO PIZZA! He says well We're closed. Go F*** yourself. After shock and what just happened arguing with him, he says it again and hangs up. I immediately called Alfys in Monroe vs his cell and a man answers. He says, we're closed you will have to call tomorrow. I said well I would like to make a complaint about one of your drivers. He says Yep. You dont like the way I treated you, go F*** yourself too! I reply with excuse me? And again he repeated it followed with, we dont want you as a customer. I can honestly say I'm shocked. This is the most HORRIBLE customer service situation I have ever had. What the heck is wrong with people. I ordered pizza as a treat for my kids . They were excited about it after a long drive, and yet nothing comes and we are talked to like that? I will be going to Alfys myself tomorrow to have someone make this right as we prepaid. and I will NEVER order from this establishment again. So the woman behind the counter is very friendly making a not that great food a favorite but the older man behind the counter is the complete opposite very unfriendly. The pizza toppings are delicious but the crust is mediocre ( albeit better than the cardboard box dough of Dominos thin crust). Called in today for a Family sized Meat Eaters Wallop. It was without a doubt the worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. $30.00 and there was nothing on it. There was not any meat on it other than a light sprinkle of sausage and maybe a half dozen paper thin slices of pepperoni. And the cheese was so thinly sprinkled on it it did not even cover the crust. It had thick half cooked crust with very little red sauce. I have been eating Alfy's Pizza for years and and I have never had one like this. We tried a few slices and threw it out. I will never be back. read more

I was in on January 25th to order a takeout pizza. I had a coupon I was using and the price just was not adding up to what the actual cost should have been. I was trying talk with the lady at the register and she wasn't understanding what I was worried about. She began to get very rude and upset and asked why I was arguing with her. I had just gotten off work and was in my work uniform being very friendly even with the attitude I was receiving. I decided to just pay what the charge was and I would take it up with the manager later. Fast forward a couple weeks I finally got a hold of the manager and explained the situation. She said she would look into it and get back to me the next day. 5 days went on with no call back. I decided to call again and spoke with the manager she said that she was still looking into it and would call me back in a couple days. It has been almost a month now with no follow up. I would not recommend this establishment. Take your money elsewhere. It's sad because I do like Alfys and rarely get it anymore as I don't live near one but was passing through and thought it sounded good. I grew up going to Alfys in Snohomish and getting it for lunch in high school when they had it delivered. But this experience left a bad taste and probably won't return. read more

We are usually very happy with alfys they are quick and efficient as well as yummy. Today we ordered a cookie with ice cream and when we opened the cookie it looked like something someone had broken up and spit back out very disappointed and the calzone we ordered was burnt the pizza and breadsticks were awesome and the delivery was quick but now they are closed and we are stuck with what we have! Be sure you check your ordered when you get a delivery we were not smart enough as usually everything is really good. This was my family's first time here and I Definitely won't be coming back. The service was okay. No one was at the register when we first walked in. Then they were on the phone while we stood there waiting to order. The employees are friendly and the prices are fair. They do not take American Express. They had lot if mini TVs with video games to play while waiting for your food. We were eating there and the pizza came out fairly quickly. Which was great because we were really hungry.
