For starters we had the shrimp tacos!!! $17 for 2 but worth every penny! And they were by far The best I've ever had!! Very fresh toppings and perfectly seasoned. And I loved the green sauce they topped it with. For dinner my husband and I split the $19 classic burger and substituted the fries for a Caesar salad. We also subbed the cheddar cheese for the smoked Gouda and omg chefs kiss!! Ordered it medium and It was cooked perfectly! For drinks we had a coke soda $3.50 and an uptown girl (lychee martini) $14 Both were good. The servers were really nice. The vibe was laid back. The volume of the music was perfect. The bathrooms were really clean. If ever in the area again I'd definitely come back!

I love their Caesar salad--it's consistently delicious and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The service is always awesome, and the staff makes the experience even better. The ambiance of the place is also a big plus--great vibes all around, whether you're catching up with friends or just stopping by to unwind. It's a perfect spot for a quick happy hour. On top of that, I find their prices to be very fair for the quality you get. Overall, I would absolutely recommend, this place is a solid go-to and you won't be disappointed!

You can tell they…read moreput a lot of attention to detail in creating it, and I think it is definitely shining through. They do have a small parking lot in their back, but it is maybe 3 spots total, so you may need to find street parking. The service is pretty good, although I was initially annoyed they didn't have paper menus and we had to use our phones. Being on your phone with a small child in a restaurant doesn't always go super well. Later I saw a table get a set of paper menus, which I was a little annoyed they didn't just offer us, especially with a small child. The food was overall good. I shared the pancake trio and the Monroe with my son. The pancakes were all really good. We had gotten the strawberry cheesecake, the caramel pecan, and the blueberry lemon. I think my son really liked the strawberry cheesecake. I thought the blueberry lemon were great. The pancakes tasted like they used some sort of lemon zest or something in the batter, as the lemon really shined through nicely. My eggs were a little overcooked, but the bacon was pretty spot on. I had also gotten a hot chocolate which I thought was good, although there was some powdered mix that was not fully incorporated in the bottom. My biggest gripe was they automatically added an 18% gratuity to all parties of two or more, and if you were going to do that, just raise your prices and have a no-tipping policy. I am sure there are solo diners, but basically everyone is getting charged the 18%, so just raise your prices so there is more transparency for what you are being charged since there was literally no single diners there when I was there. There was also a few price things on our bill that I wasn't thrilled about. Their menu has listed items that are additional for an upcharge. When I had ordered the Monroe, I had the option to add cheese to it, and they asked if I would like any cheese with it, so I said sure. The little bit of cheese was an extra $1.50, and I feel like being that they have other things that they clearly called out as an upcharge, they should have let me know it was an extra $1.50 for this. Also on the bill, they charged me for oat milk for my hot chocolate. I had to draw this to their attention that I hadn't ordered oat milk. they merely said, "well we mixed it in." That's not the point, it did taste a little off, and I specifically ordered a regular hot chocolate. While they took the 50 cents off, it did feel like they were just nickeling and diming me on some things. Overall, I had an okay experience. The pancakes were good, but the service was friendly. By the time we left, the place was completely packed and people were waiting outside so I think that speaks to how good the food is and maybe I just had a slightly less positive experience.

Maybe you should consider people's dietary preferences and accommodations, no need to explain. Every restaurant, diner, cafe or place breakfast is served across NJ and beyond have I never been restricted with my options and needs. It's not about the cost because I pay for what I want. I got the regular order because I wanted to be respectful and that is basically what I want on the menu, my side was never received so I had it removed. The taste was actually good but after eating a quarter of one I boxed the rest and gave it to my daughter. Strike 2 was the wait time for our food, two tables after us were served and sizable meals. I ordered Pancakes and water. I ordered an omelette and a cup of coffee, horrible she said. How long do you have to wait for that 30+ minutes. Strike 3 was they seemed more focused on the turn around verses the actual service to seated customers. We weren't the only table. I've shared MY REVIEW......

The staff is extremely welcoming and provided great service from beginning to end. I learned that one of the first faces we saw even before being seated was the owner. He was very attentive and routinely checked in with each table. Once seated, we were greeted almost immediately by our server. Orders were taken pretty quickly, and our food hit the table just as fast. I ordered from their specials -catfish and grits. Let me tell you, the fish was fresh, light, and flavorful, paired with a type of red broth-like sauce on the side that was well seasoned with onions, peppers, and whatever else! I would dip my catfish in the sauce and then head on over to the grits. Delicious! I packed up whatever leftovers I had remaining and ate it before bed. This place is definitely worth revisiting. If catfish is still on the menu, I may pair it with the French toast next time. Other quick notes: Nice ambiance. Smelled CLEAN. Reservations strongly encouraged. BYOB.

I called in for a big party, and they did an excellent job with the table-setting & location. Secondly, the food: Their apps are absolute winners. Our table got the Bavarian Soft Pretzel ($12) and the 12-piece wings ($22). Both came out hot and full-of-flavor! Both were excellent with a cold beer. For my main, I actually got a special which was not on their main menu. It was a Fajita Burger served with (you guessed it...) fajita fries. I added jalapenos for an extra kick. It was very good, but the buns are quite thick, so I actually just ate it with the bottom bun intact. The burger patty itself is quite thick which I enjoyed in this current smash-burger phase our world is currently in. Don't sleep on a pub burger.
