The doctor spent 5 minutes with him, suggested we call a pediatric plastic surgeon and left. He couldn't see what the spot was and made an assumption. I immediately called the plastic surgeon he recommended and found out the doctor no longer saw pediatric patients. We booked an appt with a different dermatologist at another practice one week later after seeing dr. stutz and was given a treatment plan for milia (pretty standard dx) and was told to use a retinoid, and no plastic surgery would even be recommended with out trying a topical treatment. I was billed $125 for a doctor appointment with this practice and was told we have to pay it even though the doctor couldn't diagnose him, and even gave and a very quick wrong diagnosis (honestly, less than 5 min with us). I was shocked we even got a bill in the mail. Upon calling the billing manager to discuss the fee I was approached by a dismissive attitude and was told she's worked for this doctor for 20 years and would never dismiss a charge due to the doctor spending 5 minutes with us, and offering no official diagnosis for something so standard. I read the bad reviews before going to the office and figured they were just one off experiences. After our experience with the billing manager and doctor, I would avoid this practice and recommend others do as well.

This is only my second review in my life, I am upset! I saw Dr. Stutz for a scar removal. I was referred to Dr. Stutz office as I was NOT going back to the original office for any further care. Dr. Stutz said he could remove it no problem and whatever scar there was would just be in my smile line. Sounded great. He "removed" the scare and billed my insurance. I went back to see him as the scar was approximately the same size as when I went to have it removed. He said what can I do for you? I said I had a scar removed and It's still there!!!! Then all he said was what else can I do for you! No explanation..........................NOTHING! I not only have the scar, I also have a second line on my face from the scar he didn't remove along with my smile line. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. Martha B. Lake Orion, MI

I have been a client of Rochester Laser Center since 2023, but my most recent experience on March…read more4, 2026 was extremely disappointing. I scheduled and confirmed a Botox appointment for 5:00 PM. I have also made it clear to the staff during past visits--including as recently as November 2025--that I specifically prefer Botox because other injectable products do not work well for me and have caused adverse reactions in the past. At this appointment, I was not informed that a different product would be used. The injector proceeded with the treatment, and only after the injections were completed did I learn--when reviewing the receipt emailed to me while still at the center--that I had been charged $728 for Letybo, not Botox. I was never asked for consent to use Letybo, did not sign any treatment or product authorization forms, and did not sign a credit card receipt for the service. When I questioned the receptionist, I was told that Letybo was "the same thing," which is misleading. Botox and Letybo are different products with different formulations and dosing. After the treatment, I experienced facial pain and migraine symptoms that I have never experienced with Botox. Because of the lack of transparency and informed consent, I canceled my membership the same day and will not be returning. My concern is simple: I did not receive the service I scheduled or agreed to, and the product used was substituted without my knowledge or approval. I hope the business improves its communication and consent practices so this does not happen to other clients.

The online booking system is super convenient too. Right when you walk in, you are greeted by their friendly staff who checks you in. I received a treatment from Steve, he was very informative and efficient. The clinic overall has extremely fair prices, and is very clean/modern. Highly recommend!
