Horrible experience! One of the worse doctors I've ever encountered, and so is her brat of a receptionist. They are the most unprofessional pair. The doctor is late like by a lot, almost an hour for my first visit so I was obviously not very happy about it and threatened to leave. The nurse kept coming in to my room to tell me it wouldn't be much longer to get me to stay but I waited far too long, and I was not really given an apology. The receptionist is the meanest I've ever seen and has such a nasty attitude. She expects you to say your entire address and phone number in the lobby within earshot of other people and when you state that it makes you uncomfortable and would prefer to write it down she calls you difficult and rolls her eyes. When I mentioned her behavior to the doctor she just called me difficult too. I left that office crying and will never go back. This is the worst practice I've ever seen! read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Lori Fedoronko and left feeling extremely distressed and dissatisfied. During my consultation, Dr. Fedoronko told me that "the vaccine" was the cause of my cancer. This statement was not only alarming but also completely unfounded and unprofessional. As someone who trusts medical professionals to provide evidence-based information, I was shocked by such a baseless claim. Instead of focusing on my treatment plan or discussing scientifically-supported causes and treatments, Dr. Fedoronko chose to spread misinformation. This experience has severely damaged my trust. I would not recommend Dr. Fedoronko to anyone seeking reliable and professional dermatological care. I was there for a rash on my face from my treatment which she suggested was probably from something else and told me to just put lotion on it. 80$ out of pocket for this mortifying experience feels like absolute robbery. read more

She then launched into a diatribe of conspiracy theories about people disappearing if they talk about the vaccine causing cancer. Honestly, the doctor is nice, but the front desk lady, is SO RUDE. the first time I came here she wouldn't let my mom give her my info over the phone(May I mind you, I'm 18) and made her drive a half hour(when it was actually already in the system, she just didn't believe us so she wouldn't look). Now I'm here for a second time for my brother with my mom as well, and my mom asked her for the ladies bathroom key, and she YELLED at my mom saying how it was "unisex" not just girls. Who cares? I have been a patient of Dr. Fedoronko for over 5 years. I have always received excellent care and treatment. A week ago, I had a tough fall on a driveway with my face bearing the brunt of the impact. I was not a pretty sight. I called on Friday (office closed on Fridays) and left a message asking if they could fit me in if they were open on Saturday, February 22. They did. I received great concern. Dr. Fedoronko spent time and care cleaning my wounds and making sure they were grime free. I received instructions for care. Within 24 hours the healing process was well on its way. I was so very grateful for their prompt and thorough attention. I returned less than a week later and the healing has been miraculous! (I am 71 years old) The office staff couldn't have been more attentive and comforting. I am grateful for each and every one in that office who reassured me through a somewhat difficult time. I very highly recommend Dr. Lori Fedoronko and her wonderful staff. P.S. To any of you who waited a little bit on Saturday morning for your appointment, my apologies. What is the point of making an appointment with a doctor if they aren't going to follow them? I had a 10:00AM, got there and waited 15 minutes at which time the 10:30 showed up, signed in and then got called back before me. Really? When I finally was able to see the doctor she really didn't do much of anything outside of asking me basic questions as to why I was there. She did no real examination, but essentially just took an educated guess and wrote me some prescriptions. The prescriptions she wrote for me are pretty much not available at any pharmacy in my area and the one they did have, they wanted an astronomical fee for as it is not covered by most insurances. I ended up passing on that one because she gave me some samples and I didn't care for how it made my skin feel greasy. Anyway, long story short they called recently to confirm my next appointment and as I haven't been able to get these scripts and use them to see if it helped, I explained that to the lady and that I would need to cancel the appointment. She had a very snotty tone to her voice the entire call and came off like my reasoning for cancelling wasn't good enough and I was wasting her time. Sorry, but I am not going to keep an appointment and pay for a service that will not even be rendered. I am bummed as I really wanted to like this doctor because they are less than two minutes drive from my work, but alas I shall continue to look elsewhere I suppose. read more

By far my favorite dermatologist since I've moved back to Michigan. I tried one in Birmingham that pushed expensive products and procedures. I have some skin allergies and redness. Three days after I saw doc my skin was so clear. She new exactly what to do and took care of me. The tech there is awesome and you really feel like they care at this office. My favorite part is that they tell you straight up what will work and the most cost effective way to go about it. They hooked me up with some samples and that's always a plus. I'll be coming back for my visits because this place is the best around! read more

This is the second time I've been to Dr. Fedoronko. At no time did I feel rushed or that my symptoms were ignored. She suggested several medications, but settled on one that was a reasonable out-of-pocket cost. In fact she provided me with a voucher that cut my co-payment from $50 to $10. She went as far as to recommend several over-the-counter remedies to help alleviate my condition. Waited over 45 minutes and not one person came to tell us anything as "sorry about the wait or it will be just a few minutes, thanks for your patience". I have been seeing this doctor for many years for moderate pustular and comedonal acne. She has perscribed nearly every topical medication and oral antibiotic for my acne. None of which have worked. She adamately refused to give me isotretinoin (Accutane), and now I am left with rolling scars on my cheeks and chin, and numerous hyper pigmentation spots that look like age spots. And bear in mind, I am 26 years old. I chose to find another dermatologist in October and he immediately suggested Accutane, and explained that "you have exhausted all other medications, and I have had a very high success rate with Accutane for your type of acne." 20 minutes later I had a blood test, and an iPledge book. I start my treatment December 4. In short, Fedoronko did not take my condition seriously, and I would suggest that acne patients try another dermatologist that will give them the help they need. read more

After visiting several derms in the area, who failed to address my skin condition and push their products I was ready to travel to University of Michigan. A friend referred Dr. Federonko, who is highly intelligent and accurately diagnosed my skin issues. Dr. Federonko, has performed several skin biopsies and recommended an allergy patch test, which was life changing for me. I do have poor reactions to specific products, and Dr. Federonko and her staff are generous with product samples I AM able to use. Given my rare allergies, she is quick to recognize the plan of appropriate action and what combination will work. She often has phoned in prescriptions to Compound Pharmacies that deliver medication to my home. I also appreciate her giving me coupons or vouchers for prescriptions to reduce expenses. I have always felt she spent adequate time with me, I've never felt rushed. I have even referred her to several friends, neighbors and co-workers who have also had positive experiences. They found Dr. Federonko and her staff nice and love the free samples. read more

Horrible experience. Perhaps I caught her on a bad day--nobody is perfect. But she honestly seemed unhinged (specifically in part due to her unbecoming demeanor towards a new patient). Extremely condescending, rude, and inappropriate. Very disappointed. When I became visibly upset by her treatment, she was callous and unsympathetic. I have never been offended or mistreated by a medical professional the way this doctor has managed to do. I left in tears. I'm still in complete shock. My husband purchased a gift certificate for me to receive a facial peel, which I was very excited about. I made my appointment in advance and in the day of my appointment I waiting nearly and hour before finally giving up. At 45 minutes past my appointment time I inquired about how much longer it would be and the front desk staff was short and unapologetic. They stated they are just like any other doctors office. Fortunately I haven't been treated like this at any other doctors office. I finally just asked for a refund for my services. Not one person from the office ever offered an apology or reschedule. The doctor's office took me, a new client, on an hour's notice when I told them it was an emergency. The front office staff was very courteous. Once I got there, I waited for a while (which I expected would happen) and then spoke to Heather, who asked me about medical history and the nature of the problem - she was courteous as well. When I went to Dr Fedoronko it was the best experience I have ever had at a Doctor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Fedoronko her self is very educated. She told me what I had gave me samples and a script, then took a biopsy to make sure of her findings. Her findings were right from the beginning. I have had a rash come and go since 2005. Another dermatologist was treating me and prescribed many creams and pills...nothing worked... had biopsies and scrapes, nothing really determined. Work colleague recommended Dr. Fedoronko, MD and the first cream she gave me took the rash away! The relief from the itch has been a delight. Admittedly, she had my previous records and could see what had not worked but she took the time to really listen and read everything. Still working on the cause of the rash but for me she is an Angel. If you don't like the wait time in the office, then go first thing...I waited 3 mins and then 5 mins in the room! She is busy for a reason, and she takes time with her patients, so wait times can be long. She also gave me trial samples of other creams (preventative ones), which allows me to find out if they work, before I waste my money on something that may not. read more

Dr. Fedoronko was great. I loved how friendly and informative she was. She really helped me out and gave me so much advice on getting clearer skin. Its so many products I pass in the drug store daily that I didn't know was as effective as she told me they were. Also she told me what was too much to pay for skin care and what I should be paying and if I had any issues cost wise to let the pharmacist know to call her. How great is that!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dermatologist. I personally found her to be a great doctor, but what works for me may not be what works for others. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Fedoronko for years. I won't go back again. I had a challenge getting the prescription she wrote filled. When I called their office asking for help, they told me that they wouldn't call the pharmacy, but the pharmacy should call them. I asked a pharmacist member of my family for direction on how to get past the insurance issue. He told me what the generic alternate drug was. I called Dr. Fedoronko's office to get her opinion on the alternate. Instead of calling me back, they called the manager at my pharmacy trying to ruin the pharmacist's career for breaking privacy laws. Privacy from whom? It was my personal medical question that he was answering for me. Dr. Fedoronko's office was too lazy to call the pharmacy to help me, but all too eager to call the same pharmacy to try to ruin someone's career for giving me the help they wouldn't. How can I trust a Doctor when I see that her efforts to destroy are stronger than her efforts to heal? In the end, she told me that my insurance doesn't cover the $240 medication she prescribed; yet refused to write a script for the $15 alternative because I had used it once before and had told her that I didn't think it worked well enough. Maybe it was user error?? They offered a ridiculous over the counter alternative, then were exasperated that I had the audacity to ask for usage directions. "1x/day" is not the same as "1x per day for seven weeks." I am so disappointed. ...at the same appointment she burned off two skin blemishes on my hand without asking if I even wanted it done, then failed to tell me that I would have huge blisters, or how to treat them. read more
