I've been to Dermatologists in the past when I was a kid, but not so much as an adult, so I'm familiar with what to expect when walking in. This Dermo is actually super good and efficient. They have actually two suites here, one is the doctor side and the other suite is more surgeries and cosmetic procedures. The lobby's a bit small but extremely clean and well decorated. The chairs here are comfy and they have a flat screen TV in here as well. Décor is very calming, and it's all well kept. (not all doctors offices take care of their office and it shows. this one actually does.) I like the staff here as their very pleasant to deal with and pretty efficient. Office usually runs on time, and the actual exam room is clean and well kept. The first time I was here, I had to have two spots removed from my back and left arm. Now I go back for follow up appointments to make sure it's healing correctly and not returning. The physicians assistant here is fabulous and very efficient. I will continue seeing this office on a regular basis as I'm extremely happy with how they operate. Thank you Beacon, you make it easy!

These are the pros: really liked Dr. Stephanie Diamond. I've been seeing dermatologist for over 30yrs and she was the first one to recommend both sunscreen and lotion that work with my rosacea, and don't cause my skin to itch, dry out, or feel greasy! Thanks Doc! I also appreciated that she gave me a bunch of coupons for new products. Cons: As I was working that day I made an appt. for 7:30a assuming I'd be the first patient there. Nope. I arrived to find at least 4 other people in the waiting room. After waiting more than 30mins I was shown into a room. Chatted w doc for a few minutes before she left to have me answer more medical paperwork questions w an assistant. I had filled out my paperwork online before arriving, but the medical staff wasn't made aware of that, which caused my wait time to be even longer. I did mention to the assistant that I think I accidentally wrote down the wrong amt of mgs for one of my prescriptions and she said I'd have to fix that at the front desk...? Why? She was literally checking my medical history. And I want going to discuss my medicine at the front desk in front of an office full of people. Because of the medical paperwork snafu and the fact that more patients had arrived I waited and waited for the doctor. All told I was there for over an hour. Not a great first impression; will stay w my current derm.

I was flabbergasted and appalled. I don't know who is more in the wrong, the insurance companies or the doctors. The services rendered were minimal, a few seconds of liquid nitrogen and the bill was more expensive than dinner at a high-end chophouse. Unless you have INCREDIBLE insurance, you cannot afford to go here. Make a double check before checking it out.

Dr. Ernest Alexander is absolutely the worst Doctor I have ever went to. He is just a waste of time…read moreand money He doesn't answer any of your questions and does a general diagnosis. It's as if he gets all his knowledge from Google instead of experience at school he only gives you general advice you could get from just one Google search. I left this place without buying any of the medicine that he told me to buy because he was just clearly guessing and I was not gonna pay hundreds of dollars for medicine on top of that I received a $247 charge for the time I spent talking to him which was about five minutes. It was not 45 minutes as it stated on the charge I will definitely be disputing discharge and will contact them and file a complaint.

I contacted Dr. Martin's office and was able to get an appointment within 2-days. During my appointment, right away I could tell Dr. Martin, M.D. was a skilled expert. She gave me a prompt diagnosis and thoroughly explained what caused the inflammation and her course of action to take care of it. She carefully injected cortisone around the cyst then gently cut an incision (tiny) to remove the fluid and buildup. The pain decreased immediately and two weeks later the inflammation subsided completely. My follow up appointment included a skin cancer screening that also went exceptionally well. If you are looking for a dermatologist who provides first-rate care then Dr. Martin, M.D. comes highly recommended. She has a great sense of humor to put you at ease and reassure you that you are in good hands.

I've recommended Dr. Martin to my co-workers and I'd highly recommend her to anyone in the Warren area looking for a dermatologist!

There are two dermatologists Michael and Marvin Siegel) and one physicians assistant (Jason Evans), and I trust all of them 100%. I have been treated by all of them, and although it's always an option to only see one of the doctors for every appointment , I chose to see whichever one happens to have an open appointment at my most convenient time. Don't let the title of "physicians assistant" make you weary, because he does everything a dermatologist does with the same exact knowledge, performance, and excellence. I waited nearly an hour for the doctor to come in and could hear him talking and laughing outside the door. After looking at my back once, Dr. Buatti told the assistant to prescribe different medications I said didn't work for me. He continued talking over me, glaring, and in the end prescribing things I again, told him did not work. But worst of all, their sign in questions had no where for me to tell them I am transgender, and I believe I was targeted for this. I put female on the intake form because I'd be asking them to look. Both the assistant and Dr. Buatti seemed amused and condescending when they asked why I put that. When we talked about my HPV, after the assistant told me I could leave my underwear on, he stayed in the room watching me when he told me to take them off. This was extremely uncomfortable and I had to ask for privacy. When they came back in, he used the cryo gun across the entire surface of my privates. It was not targeted to actual lesions, it was freezing the entire area. I was in a significant amount of pain for a week and later saw burn marks. I left humiliated and disgusted. No further treatment was offered. Extremely unprofessional and I have warned against this place to anyone looking for a dermatologist.
