I have even changed ratings from 3 stars to 5 stars because the owners kept their pride in check and stood behind their guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction. After our previous contractor left us without communication and without starting the job, we were referred to Greg, who immediately jumped in to get the job done before our move-in date: from start to finish, they were able to take down the wall, add lighting, and paint the room in one week! They offered super helpful advice and solutions to problems we didn't anticipate, like adding tasteful cedar planks to cover unfinished walls left by the previous owners. Not only were they quick and professional, but Greg patiently emailed back and forth with me while at work (since I couldn't have my phone on me) to go over my ideas and keep me updating on what was going on. Subsequently, we decided to move forward with his recommendation for an engineer to ensure the wall we wanted to open wasn't a load bearing wall. The engineer came and at the end of his assessment told us his visit and write up would be $900. We were a bit caught off guard but was willing to pay because we wanted to move forward with the project. And then, crickets. No word from Greg or the engineer. After a few ignored emails he finally responded to my husband; he thought it was a different client who he had recently met. When my husband reminded Greg that he already knew him and had come to our house, again, nothing. The last attempt to reach out to Greg was very disheartening. We were honest, saying we had reached out to other contractors, but that we like him and wanted a quote. He told us to move forward with them as he is pretty busy. Period. The end. What a waist of time!!! Unless your the more profitable project, move on!

We purchased Kohler rain shower plus hand-held and tub mechanism with all necessary valves from Fergussons. We kept our reclining Kohler tub with side st.steele handles. We needed to tear out and replace all prior tiles due to leak, and wet uninsulated walls around tub. Mr. Buendia and his team planned out the job, gave us a reasonable estimate, told us from when to when the job was going to be done, emailed us job proposal, we agreed and signed contract, and the the job started. They covered floors and stairs to prevent any damage, while we made sure they had access to an empty bathroom. In the middle of job we discovered that we needed to reinstall 'all walls, which we did not know when we started. Mr. Buendia and I went to the Tile store on Eisenhower Ave., and we chose together a tile that would fit and look great, and align with remaining ceramic floor. The team worked in coordinated way, and the end result is truly terrific! We are very satisfied and very much recommend Mr. Buendia's team to others. Prior to this job we had also hired Mr. Buendia for other jobs, redoing siding and trim on a townhouse, replacing basement foor with tile, replacing ceiling tiles with a true ceiling, painting, installing storm doors. Each time, we always received work proposal, reasonable cost estimate, and the work has always been excellent. Everything turned out beautifully. There were multiple specialists in the house from the team that did the luxury vinyl tile, to the hardwood floor installers, to the stair refinishing team, the painter and stainer, electrician, plumber, and helpers. They were all very respectful of our house and cleaned up each day before they left. They covered everything for protection and what I thought was going to be a really messy job turned out to not be bad at all. The job took over three weeks and the Owner Daoud came every day, sometimes twice a day to make sure everything was going well. And, can't forget to mention Maisa in the office who worked with us on the contract and flooring selection and was extremely helpful.
