stopped there a couple weeks ago to discuss my computer problem on an older desk top. after discussing the issue I decided to buy a new computer from Alex. he did not try to oversell me, but went through questions about how and what I use it for. then decided on a model. he transferred all my files to the new computer for a small fee. it was ready the next day. when I came to pick it up he had me stand next to him to make sure that the files and programs were all there. walked Me through setting up microsoft to be sure it was working. upon further discussion he suggested a back up drive since I have 11gig of pictures for a book I'm working on. Alex is a pro! Years ago I brought my laptop in for a broken screen and he replaced it the next day and even gave me a much nicer screen. I brought my laptop here because the sound stopped working. I received information on it in a timely manner. The best advice I got from Alex was to get a new laptop because the cost of further investigating the motherboard wasn't worth it. I can't argue with that, I had a low end Dell and any repair over $100 would have been overkill for my laptop. You get what you pay for I guess. Save yourself time and money and look at going some where else. First red flag, the store is a total and utter mess. I had my motherboard fail on me. It was either the mobo or the power supply because I had lights on the mobo that refused to turn on. Alex's shop charges $150 for diagnosis. Competitors might charge in the $50-$100 range. (I know because I went to one after this who charged me $50 to test the PSU for me.) Alex's diagnosis came to be that the entire computer I assembled was incorrect. Despite it working for 1.5 months, the diagnosis was EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. Now obviously this would be false if it worked for months. Not saying I couldn't have screwed something up but to say everything is, is just a flat out lie coming from the shop owner. So he goes and takes apart the PC and re-assembles it. And it turns on. I take it home. Plug it in. He didn't hook up the RGB lighting on my fans nor plug in the front usb correctly. I plugged in my devices to it that didn't work so I took it back to him. He goes and after much arguing agrees to fix it including the RGB fans. This takes 2 days. 2 days to re-plug in front USB headers and RGB fan lighting (oh and the kicker is the owner kept telling me the way I plugged in my RGB lighting was totally wrong and after much arguing he finally was able to explain how it was wrong and when he gave it to me after fixing the RGB, it was done the exact same way I originally had it, just less crossing of wires). I get my PC back, thinking finally I can be done with the worst customer experience in my life at this point. Go to power on my PC the following day and it reverted back to the original state which was no power coming from the motherboard. So after about 6 days of repair, being flat out lied to, being called an idiot, terrible customer service, being overcharged, my PC was in the original state I brought it in at. The only bright side was I got a full refund back. I took it to another shop who said the mobo was dead. I got a partial refund from amazon and went and bought a different mobo and had a friend build it for me. All the other parts worked just fine. Go literally anywhere else because other places will offer friendlier services for a fairer price with less issues. I also had multiple friends tell me they ran into the worst customer service of their lives here too. He tries to sell GPUs at scalper prices too which is just insanely unprofessional. P.S. Oh and to follow up he even lied in response to me here just to show how bad his shop actually is. I have a mic and my mouse charger plugged into the front usb. They both didn't work, I opened up the case, saw the mess of wires in the back and asked him to fix the front USB and RGB. If I can't open my case at all, you did a bad job of wiring the back of it. Period. Furthermore, the day I went in for the refund the PC refused to turn on (I did not disconnect a single thing, which is again him lying) and I even brought in the PC so if he didn't believe me he could look at it. He chose not to. So for him to flat out lie and accuse me of disconnecting power on my PC to ask for a refund really shows just how poor his repair service is. He had the option to double check the claim. He chose not to then lied. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

I've built computers from scratch before so I've been around the block so-to-speak. Long story short, Dell released an urgent BIOS update and against my better judgement, I decided to do it even though Windows 10 in my machine has never been very stable (my machine originally came with Windows 8 which I upgraded to 8.1 then 10). Right in the middle of the BIOS update my computer crashes and I have nothing but a black monitor and no sound. This created a huge problem because my accounting system, records, and supplier replenishment systems for my 31 year business resided on this computer. Alex is a short drive from my home so I decided to give him a try. Not only did he recover my data but he repaired the damage to my computer plus provided me with advice on how to better protect myself if I ever have another catastrophic failure. Alex also cloned my hard drives which saved me hours of work down loading and installing programs. When I got my computer back, it was as if nothing happened - all my programs were there and every shortcut was on my desk top as well. We took in an external drive to see if it could be recovered. I dropped it off at about 3 in the afternoon and received a call by 7 that night letting me know the status of whether or not it could be recovered in a detailed message. We called back the next day and told them to go ahead and fix it because the information on the drive was invaluable to us (family photos). The nearest competitor (Best Buy) wanted triple what they charged. And, the best part is, we had our recovered drive back in two days from the day we dropped it off. They were amazing! They are incredibly knowledgeable and quick. This is a small business that cares about their customers and doesn't overcharge you or seem unwilling to help you with other questions. I took my laptop here and these people are completely incompetant. After not hearing anything from them for four days I called. The guy had to find my laptop and when he did they hadn't done anything yet and asked if I'd bring the adapter in, which I brought in with my laptop. After a very vague conversation the guy said he'd call me that evening. No call. The next day I called again, different guy answered, just as clueless as the other, kinda thought it need a power power port. After a few seconds I asked if they had one in stock or did it need to be ordered. He answered, ummmm, it has to be ordered. A couple more seconds and I ask how long would it take to get the part? He answers, probably about a week because we don't order next day. Getting any type of definitive answer out of these people was like pulling teeth. I told them to get it ready so I can pick it up after work. Now it's at a very competant repair place, place B. Place B emailed me with a list of damage that they found due to Alex PC tech's "rough/shoddy/malicious re-assembly" of my laptop. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from these morons read more
