We had an outstanding experience with Alex Floor Center from start to finish. The entire team was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The work was completed as stated and their craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. They refinished an old painted floor, brought it back to its original wood and refinished it. The finished product looks beautiful. The crew was respectful of our home, kept the work area clean, and left everything spotless when the job was finished. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work, attention to detail and excellent customer service. Customer service is impeccable. Very knowledgeable about the entire flooring industry.

Alex was very accommodating and his installers did a great job. I would highly recommend!

The three year old carpet had some ridges in it. It was not installed properly and there was one inch too much carpet on the edge. The carpet was stretched and the excess was cut off and the carpet looks great now. Alex Floor Center did a wonderful job. read more

I've know Alex since he installed carpeting in my home six years ago and was thrilled to find out he opened his own store! More recently I installed LVP on the first floor of my home and as before Alex made the entire process a seamless experience! He is very hands on from beginning to end and offers his customers competitive prices, quality installation and great communication throughout the process! The best thing about Alex is that you can count on him to be there even after the job is complete if you have any warranty issues. He's a stand up reliable guy and I couldn't imagine using anyone else for my flooring needs! read more

Alex and his team are outstanding on every level. The two-floor laminate flooring installation + carpeted stairs was lightning fast (on rainy days, no less!), the prices were transparent and unbeatable, and Alex himself is as knowledgeable and--most importantly--honorable a person as you will find anywhere in any industry. His communication and attentiveness made the process effortless, and his standards are impossibly high. If you're exhausted by unforeseen expenses, unpredictable installation schedules, and pushy salespeople, save yourself the heartache and talk to Alex. read more

We purchased two rooms of carpet last year from Alex. Great service! This year we had a washer leak which got the carpet wet in one room. Alex came over himself and pulled back the carpet, cut out he padding and told us how to get everything dry. Today he came and installed new padding and replaced the carpet. Alex didn't want us to have to wait to get on the schedule so he did it himself! Alex cares about his customers. read more

We hired Alex to do our floors after we experienced damage from the storms earlier this year and he went above and beyond from the very beginning. For a small fee he dealt with our insurance company for us which was a huge relief. He submitted all the paperwork and got us more money than we anticipated, and his rate for the floor installation was very reasonable. He was always available through text or call if I had any questions and we are so happy with the finished product! He really became more of a friend by the end of this king project, and we will be using him for all floor/carpet projects moving forward. Highly recommend especially if you don't want your insurance company screwing you over!! read more

I am so glad that Alex was referred to me - I was not disappointed! From the start, Alex spent a lot of time explaining to me the different types of flooring and answering my many questions. He was very patient and helpful. he has a large selection of flooring to choose from an I took many samples home and finally, after several weeks of doing this, I made my decision. he was able to schedule my install within a couple weeks. He was very much on top of his team who did the install and he come by daily to check on their work, which was excellent. I found his cost to be very comparable to others. He made the whole experience very effortless. I highly recommend Alex Floor Center aka.. Alex flooring and decor. He is all about quality and customer service! read more

We had checked out numerous flooring places in our search for vinyl flooring for our dining room and carpet for our living room, master ensuite, stairs and hallway.  We had a specific carpet in mind.  Everywhere we went either didn't sell this particular brand and style or they did sell it but at an exorbitant price.  We were so happy when we found A-1 Floor Center.  Alex was able to order the carpet for us at a very reasonable price. When our order was delayed, Alex was great about keeping us in the loop on estimated arrival time. After the carpet was installed we noticed a couple of loose threads.  Without hesitation Alex sent his guys out to remedy this issue.  The final product looks perfect. I highly recommend A-1 Floor Center.  Alex demonstrated professionalism, courtesy and respect throughout the process.  Very pleasant experience. read more

We chose Alex Kamini, owner of A1 Floor Center, Inc., to remove our old carpeting and install vinyl planks throughout the 2nd floor of our townhouse and we couldn't be happier. His attentiveness to detail and genuine interest in us and our project was top notch, and the gentlemen he employed to install our flooring did an amazing job and were a pleasure to have in our home.
