They have done a great job with their Christmas decorations which really lightens up the moods. We enjoyed our Christmas drinks in a fun and lively atmosphere; everyone was enjoying themselves either drinking and hanging out with friends, or taking photos with the Christmas decorations! Lol We ordered " S'mores in the Rocks", "Elf's Elixir" and "Christmas Mule". We got lucky that our drinks were served in three different cute mugs, which we really enjoyed. The drinks are good and definitely hit the spot.

Went for some light bites at Aleria located on Queen st west. The ambiance is nice with stylish decor and service is standard. We ordered the bruschetta flight, fried calamari and ceviche and the food was yummy. No standouts but it was good Mediterranean eats.

I absolutely love the holiday theme it's fun but the food and service is average especially given the price. The music randomly stopped playing for a good 30 minutes and you can hear the music from the bar side of the restaurant Both me and my friend ordered hot water to start then we ordered two holiday drinks and our food the hot water didn't come until after we got our drinks and after we got our appetizer ... Weird You would think because it's a holiday themed restaurant that they would have a larger selection of holiday drinks there was literally four options and the one that comes in a mug isn't even hot. They had a tiramisu espresso Martini advertise on Instagram in November but they are no longer offering it The beet hommuswas good but the pita was definitely not fresh or cooked in house I got the lamb chops for some reason I thought they were going to be lollipop lamb chops. There was so much fat on every single piece I had, it was actually kind of gross

Came during the holidays to see their festive decoration and drinks. Vibes were a 5/5 while food and drinks could use some improvement. We made a reso in advance and got seated promptly. The place was busy since it was the holiday season. There's two sides of this restaurant, the front area was low ceilings and darker vibes whereas the other back side had high ceilings, a second floor and much brighter. Upon looking at the menu, I asked the server for the drink that the cute nutcracker cup came in, but was very disappointed when the drink came. It came served in a regular gingerbread mug. I waved down our server to point out that the only reason I wanted the drink was for the cute nutcracker mug and was the reason I purposely brought it up to him. Server was able to grab me the mug to do a quick switch which was nice and kept me happy. The actual drink on the other hand, is very sweet and not well curated at all. I've been to enough Christmas bars to know that the holiday gimmicky drinks are never tasty, so I wasn't too surprised with the taste of this one either. We also got an order of fries to share with the table which were nothing special. Other drinks that my friends had that I also got to taste were again, very sweet and just okay. I would still come back for the holiday vibes though, but just keep in mind that food and drinks may be the best.

Came by with a large party. We sat outside (patio) covered, it was absolutely beautiful, flower garlands and lights. The place was tight but we managed. Inside is equally beautiful, there are so many little details which really add to the ambiance of this restaurant. The dinner menu consisted of various seafood, chicken lamb and beef dishes. The group tried several items. The lamb was the most popular followed by the shrimp which were grilled to perfection. The least enjoyable was the chicken souvlaki, this was dry, the rice was also dried and hard. The drinks menu was refreshing, most enjoyed the beauty and beast. Few mocktail options as well. Our sever, Camilla was great, she managed the large group of order, bringing water and picking up all dishes effortlessly. The service was great! They have a great happy hour menu as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening.

Birthday dinner!!! Love the decor! It was adorable!!!!! Ordered a few dishes for my glutenous self. Might be a bit small portions for some but it was more than enough for me. Service was good, it wasn't busy on a Thursday evening so it was perfect. The venue is pretty cute.

Impeccable. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. I ordered the Avocado Salmon Toast paired with the beautifully pink and perfectly named Pink Flamingo drink. My friend went for the Sweet Berry Waffle and a classic lemonade. Let me just say--the flavors did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, creamy avocado was piled high, and the toppings were thoughtfully layered. My only tiny critique (and I say this with love): the toast itself was a little too crispy for my liking. It made the dish a bit tricky to cut into, and the texture leaned dry. Next time, I'll definitely ask for it untoasted or lightly toasted. A softer base would really let those flavors shine without the crunch competing. Now let's talk about that Pink Flamingo--WOW. It was tropical, sweet, and honestly gave me vacation-in-a-glass vibes. I almost ordered a second, but adulting (and budgeting) called me back to reality. That said, it's worth every sip! I snuck a few bites from my friend's Sweet Berry waffles, and yep--I'm getting that next time!! Light, fruity, tasty!! I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get to sample a few more dishes Seriously though--support local and give this place a try. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

The ambiance of the place is spectacular as well with a cool, library naturally, vibe. The servers were also great and helped accommodate my date who is gluten free, and her baguette replacement was the best that she'd ever had of a gluten free option. They decorate the lobby, bar area, and the whole main floor with Christmas decorations during the holiday season, including the giant Christmas tree in the lobby (complete with its own lighting ceremony and live music performance). Good selection of drinks and great customer service. Fun facts: The Royal York Hotel opened in 1929. It hosted royalty, heads of state, and golden-age Hollywood legends like Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock when they were in town filming or staying upstairs in the hotel. Stepping inside is like time-traveling back decades, with velvet seating, brass accents, and dark, moody lighting. As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. That dignified gentleman watching you sip your drink is George Locke, the very first chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library. I love that a librarian is the patron saint of this bar! The drinks here aren't just cocktails; they're chapters in a story. The current menu, titled "Ink & Alchemy," is actually inspired by Michael Ondaatje's famous novel In the Skin of a Lion. Created by their award-winning mixologist James Grant, the menu is a tribute to the people who built this city: the immigrants, bridge-builders, thieves, and dreamers. You aren't just sipping a martini; you're drinking a liquid homage to Toronto's history.

The room is small, intentional, and lovely: intimate seating, a sculptural emerald bar, and an atmosphere drawn from the Japanese cocktail tradition. The aesthetic is precise without being cold, and the candle-warm lighting encourages exactly the kind of unhurried conversation that a well-made cocktail deserves. But the bartenders are the true heart of the place. On the evening of my visit, the two behind the bar moved with a remarkable synchrony -- finishing each other's thoughts, trading warmth and wit in equal measure, drawing guests effortlessly into the orbit of their easy rapport. It is the kind of hospitality that cannot be trained into existence; it is either present or it isn't, and here it is very much present. The cocktail menu is East Asian in its inspiration and genuinely inventive in its execution.

I would not hesitate to come back, but there are some things I would definitely not order again. Not order again: - mozzarella sticks - these were not cheesy, fresh, or flavourful, huge disappointment - prosciutto and zeppole - prosciutto were not very fresh or thinly sliced, weirdly presented with the zeppole on the side Will definitely order again: - heroic dose pasta - the pasta was so fresh, great sauce and plenty of mushrooms (my favourite dish) - NYC spicy rigatoni - really good flavours and the pasta texture was perfect (also homemade) - Caesar salad - so creamy and I think they make the sauce in house bc I tasted a hint of the anchovy umami flavour The pesto pasta was pretty good too. And so were all the pizzas. I can't comment much on the pizzas because I was heavily focused on their homemade pasta. Everyone enjoyed the pizzas though. The only things that was bad were the two appetizers we got. They also offer an extensive list of drinks - beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails. I really like this spot and will definitely be back!
