When they brought my food and the rest of my party no one followed up with if we need anything else. I had to ask for silver wear and get up for salt and pepper. And if I needed anything else. I'm getting up to get the staff attention. One person finally came to the table to ask if we needed anything and I was already finished with my food. That gives you an idea of how long before anyone coming to our table. By the way my table was literally 6 feet from the counter where the staff stayed huddled deep in conversation with each other. (I now know all the gossip of the staff). Was it busy you ask? Nope. So sad because the food is delicious front staff are ruining it for the awesome job the kitchen is doing.

First time here, and WOW!…read more As someone who used to be a restaurant manager, I can truly appreciate great service, delicious food, and a beautiful ambiance -- and this place exceeded our expectations in every way! We came to celebrate my husband's 29th birthday, and James was our server. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. James went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. Thank you, James, for making such a special celebration even more memorable. We ordered unsweet tea and an Horchata latte to drink. I am not a huge fan of chatter and I feel like this blend of coffee and Horchata was amazing! The only thing that kind of threw me off was the sprinkles, but it was cute I guess. I think I would've preferred a cold foam over whipped cream but thats just a preference. I will see all of their coffees are made with whole milk so there is a substitution charge. If you are someone that prefers something other than whole milk or if you have a food allergy to milk. Also note that the only other substitutions are almond milk and oat milk. They do not have lactose free milk as an option. Now for the food, I'm not sure if it's because we went on a Monday, but our service was awesome. It was our first time there, so we did take a little while looking over the menu, but our waitress ( I believe her name was Melissa) was super good about giving us some time and coming back shortly after to get our orders. My boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles de Barbacoa and he added a sunny side up egg to that, and he said they were very good. He was a little jealous that his Chilaquiles did not come with a side of potatoes like the other plate lol. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with my choice of a sunny side up egg and bacon as the protein. This was super filling for me. I love a runny sunny side up egg and they did just that! No critiques on my end and my boyfriend took a bite because he was still hungry and he agreed 10/10. The potatoes were normal potatoes. They weren't too salty, and they had a flavor with the bell pepper peppers and onions that were added to it. Overall, I'd come again I would just be worried that during their more popular hours it would get busy since this was a random weekday.

This was our first time having brunch here and they were super helpful with explaining the menu (since there is a lot of French) and recommended for us to try the Croquettes. My boyfriend loved them!! I on the other hand was not very fond of the taste but I still had one :) I had the croissant sandwich and that was the best croissant and best sandwich I have ever had 10/10. It was super filling and the croissant just melts in your mouth. I had tried their pastries before and I HAVE EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED PLS GO TRYYYY!! (If they ever make those beignets from agave fest again I would go every week for my fix) My boyfriend had the Canard Et Gaufre which is duck and waffles and he really enjoyed the duck. The only issue with this dish was that you can't eat it without using your hands or getting dirty. Other than that this is definitely a must try if you like chicken and waffles.

It is kind of hidden next to the museum but we found it after a couple of minutes. I can see why they want to move to a different location so you can find them easier and so the seating can maybe look a little more elevated. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and it wasn't too full so we chose to sit in a corner and it wasn't too full pretty quiet. This was a nice little change compared to most brunch places that are loud, we enjoyed being able to talk without yelling. There is only one server so I'm not sure how they do it if it gets busy but he was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a green tea with pineapple and a raspberry tea. They came unsweetened so you could add the sugar you wanted and customize the sweetness. Soft drinks (Coke, sprite etc) were not refillable so I'm not sure if it was a can or bottle. Coffee was available (cafe de olla) and also had free refills. I got the eggs Benedict with a spinach crepe and it was pretty good. I liked the fruit it came with, it was super fresh and the eggs were perfect! My boyfriend got the poblano chicken with a spinach crepe and this one was AMAZINGGGG! I know why the server said it was his favorite. He added some spice with the chile and it was perfect. I would 1000% come back for more and I will definitely go to the new location for this specific plate. The chicken was shredded perfectly, corn, poblano pepper and the cheese was all delicious. We ordered a side of almond flour pancakes because we were pretty hungry and weren't sure if our plates would satisfy us but we loved these! It comes with strawberries, bananas chocolate sauce and I think roasted pecans. It was so yummy and the pancakes were a little dense but the toppings complimented it so well. I do wish the server came back so I could ask for more syrup because my boyfriend and I like to drown our pancakes but that little cup was fine. Overall I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu. I hope they get a soda fountain since I am a Coke Zero addict but their tea was not bad. I also got to try their mostachon with strawberries and that was hands down the best mostachon I have ever had. I will be looking into ordering a full size one because it is worth it!!
