I contact Aleco (Armando ) January for a new project on some costume chairs around 80 chairs he tell me my order will take 3 to 4 months So I drove from bakersfield to Taft to be serious about this order he supposed to done some chair samples with the next week is been 5 months he haven't show me the sample of this chairs I contact him probably 4 times he said the sample was about to be ready so I tell him I will stop by at his shop but every time I try to go there he tell me he will bring the sample to bakersfield next day but he never bring the chair . so by this time I already lose 5 months of my time try to get a product done . don't waist you time with this company he is not serious about his company bad business. I try to be patient but I feel like I'm asking him for a favor I'm paying no reason why I have call so many times. read more

The Owner uses several alias Andy Roche, Armando Melendez but its the same guy. If he would give great customer service he can call himself Pope V for all I care. I had left a great review previous to this one. I made the mistake of leaving it before my work was completed. So I am back. Took long and quality job was average. Just be aware. read more

I contacted Mando in February this year when I was planning to remodel my shop, I wanted them to make a new booth seating, tables and chairs, and then I added a cabinet. Everything seemed really slow, it took them 3 months to finish the job, but nothing was correct according to our contract, nails were missing on the chairs, table tops have the wrong colour, booth seating has many channels which I never asked them to do it, cabinet didn't get laminated inside which cannot meet health code requirement. He agreed to make changes, finally we received furniture in mid July which delayed our final inspection significantly, and the worst thing was that there were 3 long scratches on our brand new booth seating, it was a nightmare, and really frustrating. Mando told me that he would order new Vinyl and asked someone to come to my shop and fix it, and then he didn't want to answer my calls, and didn't reply my messages, it has been 4 months already, and nothing happened. This company is very unreliable, to save yourself a lot of troubles and headache, please do not deal with this company. read more

Since we live in Southern California you'd think it would be easy to find, but it wasn't. Every place I contacted only did restaurant work and wouldn't do a single booth for a home. Finally I found Armando at Aleco. We drove to his company in Bell Gardens and were able to order the booth that day. We could see that the work he did was excellent. We picked out the style, fabric, and the table to go with it. I'd taken measurements with me. Once home, I checked again to make sure I'd gotten them just right. The booth was delivered today. Very very bad. Guy with an attitude. Didn't deliver correct items. Guy said can't unload the truck because host hand was not feeling well. Said screws will be in the box had nothing. Aleco did a great job with my order. They custom built 2 single booths, a double booth, a corner booth, 3 tables, and 8 barstools for my business in Utah. The quality was great on all items especially for the price. They helped me put together a great design and use materials and colors that worked well together. Because i had them ship to me out of state I had to take care of install myself. Install was very simple and easy. They definitely needed time to build my order though, so don't expect anything done faster than about 4 weeks, but if you are willing to be patient and place your oder with time to spare then you will not be disappointed. Armando (the guy in the office) is very helpful and easy to work with. Some tips: be very specific with your purchase order and dimensions. We searched for a company that was local to the L.A. area that makes booths for private residences and Aleco is the only one in the L.A. area we could find. Absolutely HORRIBLE!! Placed an order the Aleco on June 16 and was told that the lead time was between 3-4 weeks. The booths arrived 8 weeks later. Due to the terrible job of packing, (they used a very thin layer of cardboard and then wrapped it in plastic) More than half of them were damaged. Some had holes in the vinyl, several had extensive frame damage that had to be repaired locally. All of the fabric was full of dust. This delayed the opening of a new business by 3 weeks. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OF MONEY. read more
