Then, on a trip to LA, I spotted Mattress World on Sherman Way in Canoga Park. On a whim, I walked in--and I'm so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a wide variety of beautiful furniture pieces. But the real surprise? The store manager, Daniel. He explained the various products that he sells and the benefits of each of them. He took time to go through everything and by the time I was done I knew exactly what I wanted to get for the rooms. The store itself is kind of off of the main streets in Simi Valley but easy enough to find. He has a good selection of mattresses that are priced much lower that the other stores that I visited. It's really hard to justify spending over $5000 on a mattress for a guest bedroom which seemed to be the starting price of a decent mattresses at the other stores.
