The store wasn't busy so I made my way around and picked up what I could remember because I forgot my list. I had one prescription to pick up, which was also no problem. In the meat department the chickens were fresh out of the oven so I grabbed two and picked up some thick pork chops and fresh cod.. I was on a roll I tried calling my wife to see what was on my list but no answer so I did my best. The store looked great. It was packed full of spring merchandise. Lots of plants, palms, flowers, and ground cover. As I made my way up to the front of the store. I couldn't believe the long checkout lines and it was only 10:45 when did they all get here? The hot dog lines were almost out the front door. All the Costco workers were busy, friendly and helpful as usual Great experience today except when I got home I'd forgot to buy my coffee. I'll be back

My…read morebiggest issue about this particular Costco is the front end/register employees and the entry/exit employees. I understand that their interactions are probably some of the more mentally taxing when it comes to customer service, but I have been to many Costco locations and this is the ONLY one I ever seem to leave feeling frustrated with the tone, rigidness, and words exchanged. I will say that the sales floor employees (food samples, deli, and occasionally floaters on the floor or fillers) tend to be pretty nice and on the opposite end of the spectrum, I usually have more pleasant interactions at rosedale Costco on the sales floor vs other locations I rarely remember a sales floor interaction. The gas area used to be very difficult, long lines. They remodeled it last year to accommodate more traffic and put in the sensors. It is consistently a quick and positive experience now. Because of my multiple encounters with negativity at the registers here, I do tend to purposefully go to the Panama Costco where I have never had a single negative interaction with an employee. I definitely recommend that location over this one.

The lady who was taking orders was so slow and had no sense of urgency even when she saw the big line in front of her. She messed up a guys order and proceeded to take 10 minutes to get his order right. Then, when she got another order she waited around and talked to another fellow worker. Costco, do better picking your employees.

Because it is pretty far away (12 miles) from my location but worth it not to stand in the line at Costco, which is less than three miles away from my home but way more crowded. This Sams club is in a great location and a great shopping center and probably one of the better shopping centers with variety in all of bakersfield. "Justin" the supervisor was indifferent over the mistake by Costco at overcharging customers. I asked for a manager, "Dianna" came over. My complaint is that Justin did not apologize and was indifferent to me and my wife. Dianna did correct the problem. I called Costco Corp. to relay my experience and was told that Management are told that they do not have to apologize, even if they overcharge you. WOW, that's unbelievable. Costco so big they don't care if they "RIP YOU OFF". Maybe weight and measures will fine them.

The parking lot has plenty of spaces close to the entrance, the gas station has almost no waiting time, and they seem to have amazing prices than other locations on food items. I came recently on a Saturday and had such a good shopping experience. So much better than getting run over by frantic shoppers in the big city locations. :)

I did get my money back- but they refused to honor their $100 new 1200 W microwave advertisement though they have plenty of unwrapped microwaves that are actually new. They did give me a 700 W $60 microwave (they said it's new, but had scratches on the outside, so I don't know) for free which I donated to charity. Response to response below: You literally said everything I said so I don't know how I was being untruthful. I also told you that I would not be back before you told me not to come back. And promise you I will not be back. I like reputable businesses.
